Features
Overview: The Sanus VisionMount VLF311 is designed
to wall mount most large flat panel TVs from 37" to 65" and
up to a 120 pounds. This full motion mount allows you to easily aim the TV for
viewing virtually anywhere in the room. It has an integrated cable management
system for a clean look. The mount is ultra slim, placing the TV only 1-1/4"
from the wall.
Construction: The wall-mount
bracket is made from solid heavy-gauge steel, with a durable powder coated
black finish. It comes with a decorative cover to hide assembly and mounting
hardware for a finished appearance.
Bolt Pattern and VESA: The vertical brackets that attach to the TV can accommodate vertical hole spacing (on the back of the
TV) between 25mm and 420mm. The horizontal brackets can be adjusted to
accommodate a horizontal hole spacing on the back of the TV from
146mm to 730mm. The VLF311 comes with M4, M5, M6, and M8 size bolts to mount
the brackets to your TV. For TVs with curved rear panels, an assortment of
spacers is included for proper mounting. Given the range of
motion, the mount will accommodate the following VESA (Video Electronics
Standards Association) mounting hole patterns:
- 200mm x 100mm, 200mm x 200mm
- 300mm x 200mm, 300mm x 300mm
- 400mm x 200mm, 400mm x 300mm, 400mm x 400mm
- 500mm x 400mm
- 600mm x 400mm
Full Motion: Once the TV is mounted, the fingertip tilting technology provides smooth tilting with the touch
of a finger. The VLF311 can extend out to 11.17", tilt from 0° to -10°, and
swivel up to +/- 33°. You can also laterally shift the TV along the wall plate
for ideal placement. When you have positioned the TV, you can lock the mount
into place to prevent further movement.
Cable Management: The VLF311 has a cable management system
to keep loose cables organized for a clean appearance without compromising TV
movement.
Wall Mounting: The wall plate must
be mounted to a wood wall stud (16" to 24" on center) or a solid concrete or
concrete block wall. It is not designed for use in metal stud walls. The wall
must be capable of supporting five times the weight of the TV and mount
combined. Tools required for mounting
include: a Phillips-head screwdriver, 1/2" socket wrench, electric drill, 7/32"
drill bit (for wood studs), and 3/8" masonry bit (for concrete or block). To properly position the mount, you'll likely need a pencil, awl,
level, tape measure, hammer, and stud finder as well.
