The Sanus Premium Series VLL5 fixed-position mount is a great choice if you simply want to install your TV flat against the wall. This slender mount holds your display just 1-1/2" away from the wall, and it supports a TV with a screen size up to 80" and a weight of up to 125 lbs.
Sanus' ClickStands hold your mounted TV out at an angle, making cable connections easy.
The mount's brackets can easily be shifted to the right or left, in case the wall studs are a little off-center. You can also make small adjustments after the mount is affixed to the wall, to level it, or even change the height. A safety lock that closes with an audible click lets you know the TV bracket is securely in place.
Here's a cool feature: a handy ClickStand at the bottom of each vertical brace swings out so you can temporarily prop your mounted TV away from the wall, to make cable hookup a breeze — without removing the TV from the mount.
Use the Sanus MountFinder™ to see a list of mounts that work with your specific TV.
Tell the Sanus HeightFinder™ Installation Assistant how high you want your TV, and it tells you exactly where to drill.
Easy to install and works great with my large TV
Pros: Very good quality and has excellent instructions for the consumer.
Got this to mount my new Samsung 55" 4k, its works perfect.
very solid product. I placed this on a false front and went in easily I did find it difficult to latch on the bottom of my 75" Samsung to the mount , but that was primarily due to having very little room on the sides of a custom cabinet..
Pros: easy to install
everything looked great. my main concern was the width. I was using to mount an 80" TV. it is not wide enough to go across three studs in the wall. I mounted a 15/16" piece of plywood and then mounted the tv mount to that. loved the "kick stands" makes terminating cables a breeze. then the next issue, I was about an inch off center but you only have about a half inch of adjustment room (again, issue with width for an 80". ) so overall, great product for tv's on smaller side of dimensions. was not good for my application, I'm still about 1/2" off center of my wall but can't really tell.
Pros: sturdiness, kickstand, ease of mounting
Fixed-Position: The Sanus Premium Series VLL5 fixed-position wall-mount bracket is perfect for viewing your wall-mounted flat-panel TV at eye level.
TV Capacity: The Sanus Premium Series VLL5 wall-mount bracket is designed to support flat-panel TVs from 51" to 80", weighing up to 125 lbs.
VESA Bolt Pattern: The VLL5's TV bracket consists of two vertical brackets with multiple slots that can accommodate a vertical hole spacing of 200mm-400mm on back of your TV. The vertical brackets slide along the VLL5's horizontally-mounted wall bracket, accommodating a horizontal hole spacing of 200mm-700mm on back of your television. The Sanus VLL5 comes with M4, M5, M6, and M8 size bolts of differing lengths to mount the bracket to your TV. Given the mounting bracket's range of motion, it will accommodate the following VESA hole patterns in accordance with industry standards set by the Video Electronics Standards Association:
Note: Additional hardware may be required for your specific model of TV. For example; shorter or longer screws, thicker or slimmer washers or spacers. These additional accessories can often be found at your local hardware store.
Construction: The VLL5 bracket is constructed of heavy-gauge steel with a durable powder-coated black finish.
Perfect Positioning: Your TV can slide from side-to-side on the VLL5 wall-mount for perfect positioning on the wall. There is also a level adjustment screw on top of either TV bracket to raise or lower the sides of the TV.
Note: The wall plate must be mounted to wall studs or anchored to a brick, block, or concrete wall using the supplied lag bolts (and wall-anchors). The slots in the wall plate can accommodate a variety of stud spacing, allowing you to easily mount the VLL5 to wall studs that are 16" or 24" on center.
Safety Tabs: Once the wall bracket is anchored to the wall studs and the two TV brackets are attached to the back of your television, the two TV brackets hook into the wall bracket. Integrated safety tabs on the TV brackets provide a safe and easy connection to the wall bracket you can hear.
Click Stands: Built-in ClickStands on each TV bracket temporarily hold your mounted TV out from the wall for easier cable connections.
Installation Tools: The following tools are recommended for mounting the VLL5:

Plan to mount this on wall, which is the safest placement option. [ Roger Feb 04, 2016 ]
Great low profile mount system and easy to install. [ Ramsey Dec 14, 2015 ]
Yes it worked for my 65 inch Samsung curved tv [ William Nov 28, 2015 ]
Can't answer with certainty, as I don't have that type of TV. I would caution that the Sanus we ordered, had to be sent back to Sanus, because the arm that controls the vertical hold of the screen would not work. They very quickly sent out another, but I had to pay again for a helper, as the TV was pretty heavy for one person to mount, and the second arm was better, but not up to expectation...still won't hold the vertical tilt at the desired angle [ John Nov 27, 2015 ]
