Q
Distance between mounting holes of bracket?

Unfortunately I used this mount at a vacation home, and I am not there. As I recall the outside holes are eight inches and inside are 4 inches. I believe it is a pretty universal as I purchase a new Sony 27 inch TV and had no issue.

I assume you refer to the holes that must match the preset holes on the back of the TV (not the two holes that mount to the wall). I can't easily get to the back of my unit, but there are two sources you can use. There is a "Technical Drawing" on the Sanus company's web page for this specific product that shows all measurements. (I wasn't allowed to include the link to that page. Sorry) Also, the Crutchfield web page for this product has a "Details" tab you can click, and it shows the info below. Hope that is what you need. Q
Can the tv be locked flat for RV travel or could it swing away from the flat park position?
phil  Aug 31, 2015

A
The tv bracket has a knob that can be lossened to allow it it swing away from the wall, or you can tighten it up to keep it stationary.
greg  Sep 01, 2015
A
there is no lock on the mount
nelson  Sep 01, 2015
A
There is no locking mechanism for the arm, but you can tighten the swivel tension on the two joints (TV and wall). Not sure this is a great solution form a convenience perspective, and might not "lock" a heavier TV in place.
thomas m.  Sep 01, 2015
A
The swivel points can be locked down with an allen wrench.
jason  Sep 01, 2015
A
I don't see any locking mechanism on unit.

Q
What is the offset from the center of the stud to the center of the tv when back at the wall?

6 inches - I believe that's the answer you're looking for. The dimension page in the Sanus Instruction booklet provided me with all the necessary measurements I needed to center this mount. I was very impressed with how the instructions were written and illustrated. Hope this helps.
