The articulated arm holds your TV up to 15-1/2" from the wall.
The Sanus Premium Series VLF415 makes it simple to wall-mount and precisely position your flat-panel TV. This full-motion bracket can support TVs with screen sizes from 15" to 39" and weighing up to 60 lbs. The articulated arm extends your TV up to 15-1/2" out from the wall. The mount lets you swivel your TV from side to side, and you can also tilt it up or down for optimal viewing. The mount's hollow arm lets you thread cables through it, keeping them out of sight and free from tangles.
Use the Sanus MountFinder™ to see a list of mounts that work with your specific TV.
Tell the Sanus HeightFinder™ Installation Assistant how high you want your TV, and it tells you exactly where to drill.
I bought two of these - one for the bedroom where my Samsung usually hangs, and one for my deck bar. It easily lifts off the mounting pin and carried outside where I set it on the pin and plug in the cable line. Piece of cake
Pros: Great directions, easy to mount, very adaptable to all surfaces and flat screens. Plenty of hardwars.
I had to mount a monitor for straight on and 90 degree viewing on our sailboat. This unit worked perfectly. High quality and easy installation.
I used this wall bracket to hang a 40" Samsung flat screen. It was very simple to install - two lag bolts into a stud; attach bracket to back of TV; insert pin and hang up the TV. The zip ties they provide to attach the wires to the bracket were too light duty so I used some of my heavier duty ones. The bracket allows the tv to be rotated horizontally and tipped up and down vertically. Works perfectly. I recommend this bracket.
Pros: Easy to install. Does job as advertised. Simple design.
Bought a Samsung TV for the bedroom and a wall mount was best location. I am no handyman but decided this could not be that hard. Once the Crutchfield rep confirmed the TV I had was fit for this mount I was set. Arrived timely and very easy instructions to follow. Had my teenage kids assist with the template, finding the studs in the wall, and putting the whole thing together. I took my time and was using it as an instruction moment but I was out of the box and fully mounted in about 1 hour. I moved real slow to make sure it was perfect - wife can be quite particular. At the end everyone stepped back and looked at our handy work and it was tilted (oh no!), I couldn't figure where I went wrong and then looked at the manual and noticed a leveling nut and voila perfection. - Birthday saved. It comes with a simple stud finder/level which was awesome. Agree there is a lot of extra hardware and the studfinder is a "punch" type but the holes are covered by the base after its mounted to the wall.
Pros: Very Easy to install to the wall, to the TV and very easy to impress your friends that you did it yourself.
Cons: maybe it should come with a cold can of beer to celebrate when its done?
The directions were very easy to understand. I used my own stud finder since I didn't want to put in multiple holes into the drywall. After reading the directions, this took all of 5-10 minutes to fix to the wall and to the television. Positioning is very easy to accomplish.
Pros: Directions, nice template, ease of set up.
Cons: TV can be tilted on diagonal angles, that aren't necessary. Only need tilt and rotation.
Easy to install with help from company's website finding the proper height of wall plate for my application.
Pros: Great quality. Ease of Install.
Very easy to install. Provided lots of options that will work with almost any TV
Pros: Follow the step by step instructions and you will not have any problems. Very well thought out. Quality is superior
Cons: Because it's equiped to handle a variety of TV's, it comes with lots of extra bolts and washers that are not needed. Not necessarily a con but there's a fair amount of waste.
It was as was stated on line.
Pros: Easy to install. Tite to wall.
A terrific product. Comes with everything (and I mean everything) you need to do a professional wall mounting. The instructions are clear as a bell. Took me appx. a half hour from start to finish.
Pros: Looks professional Sturdy Connections are machined properly Crutchfield customer service reps are very helpful

very good brand and excellent price [ Joel Fox Feb 09, 2016 ]
I believe so because we installed it by attaching the TV bracket to the TV and the wall bracket to the wall and then lifting the TV with its half of the bracket on to the wall half. Therefor the answer is yes. [ C MICHAEL Nov 26, 2014 ]
I have not tried to do that. However, as I assembled the rack and mounted the TV, it seems that it would be simple to do. [ GERALD Nov 25, 2014 ]
No, not easily. The TV is held on by 4 screws; it is not a lift-off or un-clip design. But this is an excellent stand for swinging the TV for viewing at different angles. [ RICHARD Nov 24, 2014 ]
I'd say it is fairly easy. The part that is attached to the TV itself, simply slides into the top of the part which is mounted on the wall. Pulling it up and off the wall-mounted part and then sliding in onto another wall-mounted part is not complicated if you can manage the weight of the TV without problems. [ Diana Nov 24, 2014 ]
Not really. It's not a quick disconnect. [ James Nov 24, 2014 ]
If you are looking to move the tv around I'd recommend leaving the mounting bracket attached to the tv and simply pull the bolt that keeps the swivel hinge together. The hinge is a sleeve several inches long; the bolt makes the connection secure but is not absolutely necessary. Then you can lift off the tv with one half of the arm and slide it into another mounted bracket. You just need to make sure you don't use the cable mgmt compartment in the half of the arm that will be travelling with the tv. [ Jose Nov 24, 2014 ]
Yes. However it is difficult putting the trv back. Need a person holding it [ Craig Nov 24, 2014 ]
the part where the mounting plate connects to the arm is 1 allen head bolt with captured nut, if using identical VSF415 the swap could be made by just unscrewing this bolt but it could be awkward without a helper [ Matthew Nov 24, 2014 ]
