For years, Nikon's "Action" series of binoculars brought Nikon's legendary optical quality to savvy consumers at an attractive price point. Now Nikon's Aculon line carries on that fine tradition. Designed to give uncompromising performance, the Aculon series makes it possible for you to own a fine piece of optical craftsmanship without giving your credit card a workout.

These Aculon A211 10-22 x 50 binoculars start out at a 10X magnification at their widest setting, and zoom all the way to 22X with the touch of a fingertip on a lever. They contain sharp, color-accurate Porro-prisms and Nikon's exclusive lead-free, arsenic-free Eco-Glass™. And while their reach is impressive, they're lightweight for their class. A 199-foot field of view at 1000 yards means you'll be able to get extremely close to your subject from a distance, and the 50mm objective lenses gather a healthy amount of light, so you can be comfortable using these binoculars from sunup to sundown.

    Nikon Aculon A211 Zoom 10-22 x 50

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I purchased this product because I wanted a larger set of glasses with zoom. And they are great! However, I noticed a black spot in the center of the optics on the left eye and figured out that they are internal. If possible let me know what I need to do to get them replaced because I like Nikon products.

Pros: Well made, with very clear optics and easy to use. Great price for a great product.....keep up the good work.

    Cons: None at this time.

Overview: The Nikon Aculon A211 10-22x50 binocular is a lightweight zoom binocular that can be used in a wide range of activities. The Aculon A211 comes with a neck strap, eyepiece and objective lens caps, and a soft, padded carrying case.

Zoom: The Aculon A211 zoom binocular has an easy-to-reach zoom control knob on the right eyepiece for changing the magnification. By rotating the knob with your finger, you can adjust the magnification from 10x to 22x. There are magnification markings at 10x, 12x, 15x, 18x, and 22x.

TRA-2 Tripod Adapter: Included with the A211 is the TRA-2 tripod adapter, which enables the binoculars to be mounted onto a tripod or monopod. The TRA-2 simply screws onto the central shaft of the binoculars, and has a 1/4" standard tripod thread and alignment hole for mounting onto a tripod.

Multi-coated Optics: The lenses on the Aculon A211 feature multiple layers of anti-reflective compounds for excellent brightness and resolution. The eyepieces have aspherical lenses to give you a flat field of view without aberration. Nikon's Eco-Glass lenses are lead- and arsenic-free.

Focus Knob: The Aculon A211 has a smooth, central focus knob for bringing your subject into focus.

Diopter Ring: The left eyepiece has a diopter ring for adjusting the binoculars to your eyesight. A diopter index indicates the "0" position, as well as "+" and "-" positions.

Eyecups: The turn-and-slide rubber eyecups make it easy to position your eyes at the correct eye-point for the greatest comfort during extended use.

Rubber Coating: The body of the Aculon A211 has a durable rubber-armored coating to give you a non-slip grip, and to protect the binoculars in virtually any weather.
