About the Nikon Callaway iQ
Nikon's standard-setter for golf laser rangefinders, the Nikon Callaway iQ, is designed for the demands of touring pro caddies, but you don't have to be one to need one. Accurate assessment of distance is critical to proper club selection, and proper club selection will help you achieve spot-on placement and impressive yardage. One touch is all you'll need to find out the distance to the green or fairway, as far away as 1,000 yards. And the iQ features Nikon's First Target Priority Mode, which allows the rangefinder to pick out the pin flag's distance ahead of all the other results it might get from the trees directly behind it.
The iQ is fogproof and water-resistant and includes a replaceable lithium CR2 battery.

Product Research
Features
Overview: The Nikon Callaway iQ laser rangefinder helps your golf game by giving you accurate distance measurements instantly with the press of a button. The unit is compact and lightweight, with a gloss black finish. Rubber accents give it a non-slip grip. The Callaway iQ is powered by a 3-volt Lithium battery, and comes with a protective neoprene sleeve and a clip to attach it to your bag.
Multi-coated Optics: The rangefinder uses a 6x monocular in its optical system with multi-coated high-quality Nikon optics. Proprietary anti-reflective coatings give you bright, clear images. The unit has a wide angle of view to give you a good look at your target.
One Button Operation: The Callaway iQ laser rangefinder gives you fast and simple measurements by pressing the top-mounted power button. The unit emits an invisible, eye-safe infrared energy pulses (EN/IEC Class 1M Laser) that reflect off of the selected target back to its optical receiver. The distance is instantly calculated and displayed on an internal LCD panel for approximately 8 seconds. The unit has First Target Priority, which displays the distance to the nearest target among multiple results obtained with a single measurement.
Active Brightness Control: The viewfinder has Active Brightness Control, which detects the light conditions on the ground. If conditions are bright, the internal display remains gray. If the background is dark, the Active Brightness Control automatically turns on the internal orange LED illumination to illuminate the display. The brightness of the illumination adjusts automatically to the light conditions.
Diopter Ring: The viewfinder has a diopter ring for adjusting the rangefinder to your eyesight. A diopter index indicates the "0" position, as well as "+" and "-" positions.
Eye Relief: The Callaway iQ's eyepiece provides long eye relief for easy viewing, even when wearing eyeglasses or sunglasses.
Distance Measurements: Distances from 11 to 1000 yards can be measured in increments of 0.1 yard (up to 999.9 yards) or 1 yard (1000 yards and over). Distances are accurate within 1 yard (up to 500 yards). You can switch the units of measurement from yards to meters by pressing the top-mounted Mode button.
Continuous Measurement: By pressing and holding the power button, you can measure the distance of different targets. The distances of each object are displayed. For example, using continuous measurement, you can measure the distance to a tree in the foreground, and to the flag in the background.
Slope Adjustments: If you are measuring an object that is on a slope, not only the linear distance to the target is displayed, but the slope-adjusted distance to hit the ball is calculated and displayed. The slope-adjusted distance is calculated by measuring the linear distance and the angle of the shot. In the display, the slope-adjusted display is indicated with a slanted line showing an upward or downward slope.
Waterproof Design: The Callaway iQ has a waterproof design so you can use it in wet conditions. The unit filled with nitrogen gas and is sealed with O-rings (except for the battery compartment), to protect the internal optics dry and to prevent fogging. It is not designed to be submerged.
Power Requirements: The Callaway iQ operates on a single 3-volt CR-2 Lithium battery (included). Battery status is displayed in the viewfinder during normal operations. A new CR-2 battery has enough energy to perform continuous measurements approximately 5500 times.
