Features
Overview: The Nikon MC-DC2 Wired Remote Control is designed to remotely control the shutter-button of select Nikon digital SLR cameras. The MCD-DC2 features an attached 41" cord terminated by a proprietary connector which plugs into the camera's Accessory Terminal. The MC-DC2 can be used to:
- operate the camera remotely when taking photographs at close range and in other situation in which the slightest camera movement would produce blurring
- keep the shutter-release button pressed for long exposures (bulb) and burst photography
Operation: The camera responds to the shutter-release button on the MC-DC2 as it would to the shutter-release button on the camera body. The MC-DC2 shutter -release button can be locked in the full-pressed position by sliding the lock to the "Hold" position.
