And your dash will look great, thanks to the stylish detachable control panel and the highly-legible blue display with its backlit white characters.
Your music will jump with plenty of power (22 watts RMS/45 peak x 4) and sound-shaping options. Turn on the BBE® System to improve clarity in the mids and highs. Choose between three levels of bass enhancement with Advanced H-Bass smooth it out or pump it up. Driver's Sound Stage Adjustment changes the musical imaging so that the driver's seat becomes the best seat in the "house."
Operation is simple and intuitive all system adjustments (volume, tone, fader, balance, bass boost, etc.) are made with the "Smart Jog" rotary knob. The Source Level Adjuster ends those startling volume jumps when switching between sources (AM, FM, CD, and auxiliary). A wireless remote control lets you make system changes without taking your eyes off the road.

Why replace your factory radio?
Two good reasons - sound quality and cool features. A new car stereo offers power that's superior to most factory radios, along with more sophisticated tone controls. And most car stereos offer built-in or optional features that add safety and fun to life in your car, including inputs for your iPod or MP3 player, Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free cell phone calls, satellite radio or HD Radio reception, and connections for building an audio system in your car.

Smart Jog Knob: This unit is equipped with a large rotary knob that provides a convenient way to make adjustments. Volume, bass, treble, balance, fader, H-Bass, DSSA, BBE and clock adjustments are made using the Smart Jog knob.
Source Level Adjuster: The relative level of each source (FM/AM/CD/AUX) may be adjusted, from -4 to +4, and the setting will be retained in memory. The level of each source can be set so there won't be drastic leaps in volume when changing from one source to another.
H-Bass: Instead of a loudness control, this unit is equipped with an H-Bass function. Conventional bass boost circuits also affect the mid-bass and midrange, resulting in a muddy, "boomy" sound. H-Bass provides true deep bass enhancement for a dynamic bottom end that does not destroy the clarity of vocals and other mid-frequency content. You can choose from 3 H-Bass settings.
DSSA (Drivers Sound Stage Adjustment): This feature adjusts the sound stage and tone balance to sound best from one of the front seat positions. You may set the DSSA feature for the front left seat or the front right seat, or the DSSA feature may be turned off. When the DSSA feature is on, the balance and fader settings cannot be adjusted.
BBE Processing: The BBE processing restores the brilliance and clarity of broadcasts and recordings by adjusting the phase relationship between the low, mid and high frequencies by adding a progressively longer delay time to the low and mid frequencies. The BBE processing has 2 adjustable levels and an off position.
MP3 Playback: This unit will play MP3 files recorded onto CD-ROM, CD-R and CD-RW discs using the ISO 9660 level 1/level2 format. MP3 files with a compression rate from 8-320 kbps are supported. Multi-session discs are supported, but the unit can only play the first 5 sessions. Each disc can have a maximum of 512 tracks and 8 nested albums.
Note: If a disc contains both audio tracks and MP3 files, the unit will only play the audio tracks. In addition, the unit may not play files recorded with a packet-writing utility.
Front Panel Auxiliary Input: A front panel stereo mini-jack is provided to allow the connection of a portable audio source. Just connect your portable cassette, MD or MP3 player to this unit, and you can listen to the audio from the portable player through the speakers in your mobile audio system.
Active Tuning Reception Control: This unit automatically suppresses FM noise caused by vehicle movement, and maintains sound quality.
