Crimp caps are useful for many different types of car audio and security installations. Unless your in-dash receiver comes with bullet connectors on the speaker and power leads (and most don't), you'll need to use crimp caps to connect your Crutchfield wiring harness to the receiver's wires. You can also use a crimp cap to insulate the end of a single unused wire, to prevent it from shorting out. The bag contains 100 closed end crimp caps, designed for 14- to 18-gauge wire.
