Versatile music playback
You've got music everywhere: on CDs, on your iPod, iPad®, or iPhone, and even on thumb drives. Enjoy it all with the TEAC CD-H750. This compact player can handle just about any format your music comes in. It not only plays your CDs, including home-burned MP3 and WMA mix discs, but it also gives you a front-panel USB port for plugging in your iPod or iPhone. This direct digital connection lets you take advantage of the CD-H750's high-performance digital-to-analog converter — a big improvement over your portable's made-for-earbuds audio circuitry — for better sound quality from your portable music library. You can also plug in a USB flash drive loaded with tunes to enjoy them through your headphones or a connected sound system. The CD-H750 can even record music from audio CDs to a USB flash drive without the need for a PC.
TEAC builds 'em right

TEAC CD-H750 Reviews
Average Customer Review:
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
Solid, well thought out, great sounding. I hooked this up with both the RCA and the optic, both are terrific, the optic was louder and better bass, the Rca a bit warmer. I am very pleased with this purchase. I am used to seeing thin metal and cheap plastic, this unit seems like fort Knox. It is a great piece of audio equipment, glad I purchased it
Pros: good features, solid, great sound, very definite CD tray
Cons: Bit deeper than I expected in terms of size.
Discounted player outdoes tube player
This player reveals more detail than my California Audio Lab Aria MKIII! It's not as warm, but it's got more depth and articulation. The CAL sounds muddy by comparison. I'm sure once it burns in, the Teac will sound a little bit less strident and will sound even better. Buy it now while it's on sale, you won't find a better deal under a grand! And with an Audioquest Cinammon USB cable, the iPhone sounds amazing!
Pros: Clarity, depth, big soundstage, iPhone friendly, great price
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
I was very impressed with the overall quality. Also, love its relatively compact size which fits so nicely on my bedside table. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who was seeking a high quality multi-source player at an amazing price. BUT, I found it totally unacceptable for use with headphones. The sound lacks warmth and depth in the low register. The mid-range and upper ranges are too "bright" and harsh and downright grating to listen to. Far inferior to the portable cd player I bought through a local retailer (and still use) 15 years ago. Because I purchased this player primarily for headphone use I returned it to Crutchfield. (What a great company to deal with. No problem returning it AND the return charge via UPS was free, as it was considered defective.)
Pros: High quality. Nice size. Great controls and remote
Cons: Headphone output really bad.
Rock Solid High End Player At a Reasonable Price
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
I did a side by side comparison of the teac H750 and Marantz 6004 models . The marantz is considered a premium player in many audio file magazines. I judge equipment by its sound and feel, operation and features. The equipment I used Mcintosh equipment and Martin Logan speakers for my test. This is an audiophile grade setup with plenty of power so there is no detraction of the sound you hear from any source. My other concern is sound quality and build. The teac has a solid aluminum front and sides and the cd tray is more substantial than the marantz which is thin in comparison the marantz has an aluminum front only sides are steel. The teac will not display cd text on store bought or home made cds the marantz will. Both units have a usb for ipods and other devices but the teac can record onto a thumb drive in mp3 files ( audiofiles prefer cd audio files for best sound) although this added feature is useful & a computer is not necessary. Teac can display text of mp3 files but as I said for best sound an audiophile will use audio cd format just like store bought music on cds. Since this is a single cd player display wasn't a concern. Myself and a friend listened to both units blindfolded, I couldn't hear a difference both were equally good using cds and ipods,: my friend thought the teac sounded better. The digital to audio converter in both units was superb. Only the power switch is illuminated on both units. The teac at $100 less was a better choice .
Pros: Small footprint, Solid Aluminum front and Sides, Ability to record on thumb drives, Very nice DAC, Front usb port, Removable power Cord, Compact Sturdy design, Quality cd Transport tray
Cons: Doesn't display audio cd text on store bought cds, Only 1 year warranty,
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
I bought this player to replace a player 15 years old costing almost 10 times as much. The sound is excellent, clear and open, no harshness. The unit is very well built, very solid construction. The USB input is an added bonus.
Pros: Great sound, very musical.
Cons: The remote buttons feel a little spongy.
