You've got music everywhere: on your iPod or iPhone, on thumb drives, and even on CDs. Enjoy it all — in style — with the TEAC SR-100i. This modern-looking speaker system can handle just about any format your music comes in. When we had a chance to hear this system first-hand in our large, acoustically challenging training room, we were completely knocked out by the musical clarity and surprisingly powerful bass.

A retractable dock holds your iPod, and automatically recharges your player. The top-loading CD player can play not just audio CDs, but MP3 and WMA discs as well. The system's USB port lets you plug in a thumb drive and play the music stored on it. Looking for more variety? The SR-100i also has a built-in FM tuner.

All this and great sound, too
The system features 2-way stereo speakers. 1-1/4" tweeters handle the high end, while 3-1/2" mid/woofers round out the midrange. In the back, bass-reflex ports enhance the lows to fill out the sound. You'll enjoy clean, detailed sound, nicely balanced from top to bottom.

From the review The TEAC SR-100i scores big on sound
"I really liked the TEAC SR-100i. Although it's an all-in-one system, there's no compromise on the quality of construction, nor the performance of the speakers. I enjoyed consistently great sound whether I was listening to the radio, MP3s, my iPod, or a CD. And that was true whether I was cranking Phideaux full blast, or enjoying a quiet moment with Bebel Gilberto."

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This unit has all the features I was looking for -- ipod player/charger, a CD player, FM Radio and a remote! LOVE THE SOUND, though it would be great to be able to adjust bass and treble.. but for the money, I LOVE IT!! This purchase replaced a very similar unit we bought last year (my 15 year old "adopted" that one) and the sound of this TEAC blows that one away!! Very pleased with the knowledgeable sales people, the ease of ordering and quick delivery! Thanks Crutchfield!

Pros: all the functionalities.

Cons: I wish the digital read out was located more in the center of the unit instead of being located toward the top of the unit. not easy to see.

Nice design and great options. However, sound was not to my liking. Treble too high and not able to adjust. Too bad it does not have an equilizer. That would make it perfect.

everything I wanted

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought this because it fits on my dresser, sounds good, and has both USB and
iPod interfaces. It delivers on all counts. Many tabletop stereos that
advertise a USB interface use it only for firmware updates. I wanted one that
will play music files from a USB flash drive, which this does. The only quirk,
which is minor, is that it appears to kick in an additional amplifier for low
frequencies only when the volume is turned up loud enough. I would prefer that
threshold was lower. Overall I'm happy with the unit.
