About the TEAC TN-300
A turntable that plays nice with your PC and your music system
TEAC just seems to have a knack for building impressive sounding audio gear with an eye for stylish design. Case in point — the versatile TN-300 turntable. Dressed in a gorgeous high-gloss finish, this 'table has everything you need to enjoy your vinyl collection. The built-in phono preamp allows you to connect it directly to almost any audio system, even one without a turntable input. Plus, the TN-300 features a USB output that makes it easy to transfer your albums to your Mac® or Windows® PC for digital archiving. Save your tunes as MP3, WAV, or other music files that you can store on your computer or download to a smartphone or portable music player.
An anti-skate mechanism ensures accurate tracking with your records.
Beauty that's more than skin deep
Under the TN-300's polished exterior is a heavy MDF base designed to resist external vibration. Driven by a high-torque DC motor, the turntable's die-cast aluminum platter spins on a polished stainless steel spindle and bronze bushing that minimize friction for smooth, silent rotation. The turntable's tried-and-true belt-drive system uses a Neoprene® rubber belt to isolate motor vibration and prevent noise from being transmitted through to your amp and speakers. A straight aluminum tonearm equipped with an Audio-Technica AT95E moving-magnet cartridge ensures accurate tracking and rich, full-range sound.
The TEAC TN-300 has a USB output for digitally archiving your vinyl collection.
Enjoy the rich sound of vinyl without the hassle
TEAC knows that turntable setup can be a challenge for the novice. That's why the TN-300 comes out of the box virtually ready to play. Its pre-matched, factory-mounted phono cartridge and tonearm take the guesswork out of installation, and give you optimized sound quality with minimal effort. A few simple steps to dial in key settings like tracking force and anti-skating are all it takes to get this 'table primed and ready to go.

I bought this as a replacement for a Music Hall USB1. What a difference. Easy to set up and sounds great. For the price you can't go wrong. Low end is has punch, high end crisp. My wife noticed the difference too.
