About the Boston Acoustics A 250
Looking to update your home theater system? Boston's A 250 floor-standing speaker offers great performance at an exceptional value. The A 250 boasts clear, musical sound that'll add a sense of immediacy to your movies and music. Get swept up in the latest who-done-it as the haunting music score and sudden gun blasts put you in the middle of the action.
Advanced drivers deliver the Boston sound you love
The A 250 features Boston's 1" Kortec® soft dome tweeter for clear, crystalline highs. The advanced ceramic/glass fiber polymer woofers use Boston's Deep Channel Design® to deliver more bass response per watt of amplifier power. The crossovers in all A Series speaker models incorporate low-loss capacitors and low-distortion cores for the inductors. It means you'll hear every note in your music with minimum distortion.
Thoughtful cabinet design
This speaker's cabinet design also features vertical and horizontal internal bracings to reduce unwanted resonance that can muddy the sound. Plus, as part of Boston's A Series of speakers, the A 250 features modern styling with a stunning high-gloss, scratch-resistant cabinet, a textured top panel for contrast, and a convenient magnetic grille.
Tips for system building
Create a complete A Series speaker system using a pair of A 250 floor-standing speakers in the front of your room, along with the A 225C center channel and a pair of A 25 or A 26 bookshelf speakers in the back of your room. Add either the ASW250 or ASW650 powered subwoofer, and you can enjoy deep, rumbling bass, too.

Note: The binding posts are spaced too far apart to accommodate dual banana plugs.
Color-Coded: The speaker's binding posts are color-coded (red/black) for easy identification between positive and negative.
Mounting Options
