This speaker boasts clear, musical audio that'll add a sense of immediacy to your movies and music. Get caught up in the latest period romance thanks to the sweeping musical score and powerful dialogue. Or sit back and relax to your favorite classic jazz piece as the instruments and vocalists come to life in front of you.

Advanced drivers deliver the Boston sound you love
The A 360 features Boston's 1" Kortec® soft dome tweeter for clear, crystalline highs. A separate 3-1/2" midrange fleshes out those middle frequencies for clearer dialogue and more nuanced special effects. And the dual ceramic/glass fiber polymer woofers use Boston's Deep Channel Design® to deliver more bass response per watt of amplifier power. The crossovers in all A Series speaker models incorporate low-loss capacitors and low-distortion cores for the inductors. It means you'll hear every note in your music with minimum distortion.

Thoughtful cabinet design
This speaker's cabinet design also features vertical and horizontal internal bracings to reduce unwanted resonance that can muddy the sound. Plus, as part of Boston's A Series of speakers, the A 360 features modern styling with a stunning high-gloss, scratch-resistant cabinet, a textured top panel for contrast, and a convenient magnetic grille.

Tips for system building
Create a complete A Series speaker system using a pair of A 360 floor-standing speakers in the front of your room, along with the A 225C center channel and a pair of A 25 or A 26 bookshelf speakers in the back of your room. Add either the ASW250 or ASW650 powered subwoofer, and you can enjoy deep, rumbling bass, too.

Floor-standing speakers — still standing tall

Sure, floor-standing tower speakers buck the industry trend toward smaller, visually inconspicuous speakers, but they're hard to beat if great sound is your primary goal. Tower speakers produce powerful sound with excellent bass, making them a great choice for serious music lovers and for folks who want high-impact home theater.

Great deal and great sound

Written by: Bickle307 from Kansas City, KS on January 28, 2014

These pair great with my SVS Ultra to create a 2.1 system from heaven in our basement. There are probably better floor-standing towers but you'd need to spend 2-3 times the price. Having only had bookshelves and satellites previously this is a whole nothing world. You can feel and hear voices and instrument strokes, etc. *Note the photo may look like matte black, but these have a beautiful piano finished.

Pros: High end sound for entry level price

Cons: None unless you're doing a side-by-side comparison with much more expensive units.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These speakers are great. I'm surprised how good they sound, especially for the money. I'm a musician and if I am trying to figure out a part in a song, I'll listen to these over my expensive studio monitors.

Pros: Great sound and separation

Cons: None

Driver Technology

A-Series floor-standing: The Boston Acoustics A-Series floor-standing loudspeaker (A 360) incorporates high-quality components that produce the legendary Boston Sound. The A-Series floor-standing loudspeaker is ideally suited for use in a high-quality multichannel home theater or stereo music system.

3-Way Speaker System: The Boston Acoustics A-Series floor-standing loudspeaker features a three-way design that employs dual 6.5" woofers and a 3.5" midrange driver, paired with a single 1.0" soft-dome tweeter.

1" Kortec Soft-Dome Tweeter: The Boston Acoustic A 360 features Boston's 1" Kortec soft-dome tweeter for crystalline high frequencies.

3.5" Midrange Driver: The Boston Acoustics floor-standing loudspeaker utilizes a 3.5" ceramic/glass fiber polymer midrange driver for added detail and vocal clarity.

Dual 6.5" DCD Woofers: The Boston Acoustics A 360 floor-standing loudspeaker is fitted with dual 6.5" ceramic/glass fiber polymer woofers with Deep Channel Design (DCD) that allow for higher speed, reduced distortion, and improved sensitivity. As a result the A 360 delivers more bass response from less amplifier power.

Crossover Network: The crossover components in the A 360 incorporate low-loss film capacitors and low-distortion laminated silicon steel cores for the inductors in all critical areas. The tweeter is crossed over at 2,700Hz and the midrange is crossed over at 800Hz. Frequencies lower than 800Hz are fed to the two woofers.

Enclosure Design

Bass Reflex Enclosure: The Boston Acoustics A-Series floor-standing loudspeaker (A 360) features a bass reflex enclosure with a rear-firing acoustically tuned port for improved low frequency response and efficiency.

Scratch Resistant, Resonance Free Cabinet: The Boston Acoustics A 360 floor-standing loudspeaker features a high-gloss, scratch-resistant cabinet with a textured top and magnetic grille for a modern styling that will match most any decor. Vertical and horizontal internal bracings reduce cabinet resonances for enhanced audio quality.

Binding Posts: Gold-plated binding posts provide hook-up flexibility and the purest signal transfer. The binding posts will accept bare wire (up to 12-gauge), pin connectors, spade connectors, and banana plugs (single only).

Note: The binding posts are spaced to far apart to accommodate dual banana plugs.

Color-Coded: The speaker's binding posts are color-coded (red/black) for easy identification between positive and negative.

Mounting Options

Integrated Rubber Feet: The Boston Acoustics A 360 floor-standing loudspeaker features four integrated rubber feet to place the speaker safely and securely on your hardwood floors or tile.

Spiked Feet: The A 360 floor-standing loudspeaker includes four spiked feet which can be threaded into the bottom of the speaker for safe and secure placement on carpeted flooring. The spiked feet will add 0.625" to the height of the speaker.

Note: The front rubber feet will need to be removed and replaced by the longer spiked feet. The shorter spiked feet simply thread into the speakers rear stabilizer feet.
