Highly efficient bass performance
Boston's mission: build a sub that will deliver loads of bass when connected to a moderately-powered amplifier. Efficient G2 subwoofers accomplish the mission, borrowing many design features from the top-of-the-line G5 Series subs, with the quality construction you expect from a Boston Acoustics speaker.
Advanced materials and construction
The G210-4 10" woofer features a thick foam surround that lets its cone move freely, for efficient output and warm-sounding bass. The SureSet terminals come equipped with two fuses to help protect the voice coil during momentary overdrive, and allow you to change the woofer out quickly in case a fuse is blown. RadialVent cooling improves power handling by using the cone's motion to pump hot air away from the sub's internal structure.
Works in sealed and ported enclosures
This subwoofer is optimized for use in small, sealed boxes ideal if you want tight, accurate bass. Like a little more boom? No problem, it's suitable for larger ported boxes as well. Whatever your goal, Boston G2 subs are ready to take on the challenge.

What's a component sub and why would I want one?
A component sub is simply a speaker that's designed to reproduce bass once it's installed in a compatible enclosure. Think about the impact of a movie soundtrack in a big theater or even in your own home HDTV setup. A component sub can add the same kind of power to the music in your car. And a car sub is not all about the boom that you hear on a street corner (although that's cool too) - you can pair a component sub with your choice of enclosure to get bass just the way you like it, from tight and punchy to fat and loose. And once you experience music in your car with a well-tuned subwoofer, you'll never go back.
Boston Acoustics G210-4 Reviews
Average Customer Review:
Just bought the sub to replace a 5 year old Infinity reference 10" that was good in it's day but started to get muddier in the last few years. I was down to this or the JL w3 and chose this over the JL as it was cheaper by $60 and was perfect for my needs since I'm running a PDX-5 which puts out only 300watts for the sub. The will get louder and hit harder and could handle more wattage but did not seem as responsive as the G2. Plus, with the G2 having a max 300watts, I know I've got it playing at a optimal level and it sounds awesome. Very tight, clean and quick in a .65q/in sealed box. Perfect for SQ users, which I am as I have it blended with Focal 165 KRX2's comps in the front, Focal 165 access in the rears and Alpine w505 HU. Great value sub for SQ...I would highly recommend it if what I just described is what you are looking for.
This Boston Acoustic 10 inch subwoofer in an extremely nice, wonderful sounding sub you can put in your car. Teaming the sub up with a Boston Acoustic Amp is what I did and the sound is incredible. The subwoofer will perform at all ranges. Whether you are listening to soft music the sub still can perform all the way up to Hip-Hop where you can really jam it. This sub is a definite buy for the music enthusiast.
This speaker is excellent. Clean accurate and high output in a sealed box. I tried several other subwoofers at local audio stores; including 10" kicker comp vr, 10" and 12" Pioneer (the shallow ones), 12" mtx, 10" infinity; all in sealed boxes. I can say conclusively that this speaker is WELL above all of them. (I tried out dual 10" kickers in a ported box - hair tingling output but not as tight as I like it)
If you don't like mechanical muddy boomy ear fatiguing noise, and you do like powerful, deep, textured, controlled base - this is a speaker that will fit the bill.
I am powering it with bridged Sony amp 280rms, 630 peak.
Boston Acoustics G210-4
I bought 2 of these and put them in a dual Q logic box and run them both with a infinity 610 amp and these things kick. I wanted a set subs that gave me good bass with my country and my rock. Cuz its easy to get bass with rap. Well I got exactly what I wanted! One thing that I thought was really neat was having two fuses on each sub where the terminals are.I've owned a set of boston 6x9's and I loved them cuz they had great high's and i am very pleased with their subs to.
Boston Acoustics G210-4
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
I purchased 2 of these G210-4 subwoofers a month ago. The factor pushing me to buy this sub was the small sealed enclosure of .5 cuft per sub and $ for my daily driver Neon. I was worried that the sub was overbuilt and would not perform as expected in a sealed enclosure. Fortunately I was wrong, as I was very pleased with the sound quality and output, and a little surprised. The sub is well crafted and the worksmanship is superb. This is a sub you'd want to show off in a clear enclosure! The sub is well suited for a sealed enclosure as the manufacturer intended, and not just a guess of "ok 3/4 to 1/2 of ported size should be good". I currently power them with 2 Infinity Kappa 102a amplifiers bridged for about 300 watts rms per sub. The sound quality and ability to handle rap and metal is excellent. I'm actually thinking of replacing my other cars Infinity Perfect subs with the Boston Acoustics G212 line. I've been with the Infinity line for years and I finally found something that can equal and maybe better the Infinity line !

Chassis: The Boston Acoustics G2 series subwoofers are built upon a rigid stamped steel chassis. It features the patented RadialVent cooling technology which directs airflow around the 2-1/2-inch voice coil for increased power handling.
Materials: The G2104 woofer has a co-polymer woofer cone with a raised polypropylene dustcap and a large foam surround. The wrap-around gasket gives you a good seal whether you top-mount or bottom-mount the woofer.
SureSet: The speaker terminals are equipped with two 5-amp ATC fuses providing voice coil protection under transient conditions such as accidental momentary overdrive. Use of the standard automotive style fuses allows you to quickly service the woofer in case a fuse is blown during usage. Note: The fuses do not protect against voice-coil failure resulting from long term high power abuse.
Terminals: The woofer has rugged spring post terminals that accept up to 8-gauge bare wire or pin connectors.
Long Excursion: The woofer has a 2-inch peak-to-peak excursion for accurate deep bass output from a small sealed enclosure.
Sealed Enclosure: The G2104 woofer is optimized for use in a small sealed enclosure with a 0.5 cu. ft. internal volume.
Ported Enclosure: The woofer can also be used in a 1.3 cu. ft. ported enclosure with a 3" diameter, 10" long port, and tuned to 37Hz.
