About the Boston Acoustics GTA-602
Boston Acoustics takes much of the technology they developed for their top-of-the-line GT Reference amps, and uses it in their latest GTA Series amplifiers. The 2-channel GTA-602 amplifier puts out 60 watts RMS per channel plenty enough power to rock a set of speakers or components or you can drive a 4-ohm sub with 200 watts RMS in single-channel mode. Boston Acoustics' Q-Tune technology lets you bump up your bass, whether you're running a subwoofer or not. The inputs feature special noise-cancellation circuitry that ensures clean reproduction of your music all the way through to your speakers.
The GTA-602's compact size allows it to fit in more vehicles, while the Integral Mounting System puts the mounting holes in each corner of the frame, instead of using protruding tabs that waste space. You'll find all connections and adjustment controls recessed on one side of the amp, for a neat installation and easy adjustment. Variable high- and low-pass filters let you tune the amplified signal so your system can sound its best. An optional wired remote control gives you the power to tweak your subwoofer's level from the front seat.

Features
2Ω Stable: The GTA-602 can power a stereo load with 2Ω impedance (4Ω minimum when bridged); the lower impedance offers higher output power:
- 60 watts x 2 @ 4 Ω
- 100 watts x 2 @ 2 Ω
- 200 watts x 1 @ 4 Ω (bridged)
Controls and Terminals: All the controls and terminals are conveniently mounted on one side of the amp.
Controls
Gain: Adjust the input sensitivity with this rotary control; the range is 0.2 Volts to 5.0 Volts (line-level) or 0.4 Volts to 10.0 Volts (speaker-level).
Crossover Switch: Choose high-pass, low-pass, or off (full range) crossover.
Crossover Frequency: The crossover (low-pass or high-pass) point is continuously variable from 50 Hz to 200 Hz; the slope is 12 dB/octave.
Q-Tune: Turn the Q-Tune bass boost on/off; the boost is +6 dB at 45 Hz.
Connections
Speaker-level Input: Use the included harness when the receiver has no RCA outputs.
Line-level Input: Left and right RCA jacks for the input signal from the head unit.
GTA-RSL: RJ-14 port; connect an optional GTA-RSL remote level control (item number 065GTARSL, sold separately); the GTA-RSL is only functional when the low-pass crossover is engaged.
Speaker Output: Two pair of set-screw terminals provided for connecting the speakers; the terminals can accept up to 8-gauge wire; the set screws are tightened/loosened with the supplied 3mm Allen wrench.
ATO Fuse: A single 20-amp ATO-type fuse is located between the speaker and power terminals.
Power/Remote: Three set-screw terminals for connecting power, ground, and remote wires; each terminal accepts up to 8-gauge wire; the set screws are tightened/loosened with the supplied 3mm Allen wrench.
