These speakers are the same as the Boston SE65, but the RC means they're Honda/Acura fitment specific. They fit perfectly! When I removed the rear speakers from my 2011 Honda CR_Z Sport-Hybrid Hatchback, I was surprised at how cheap and cheesy the OEM speakers really were! I mean, OEM speakers usually are poor quality, but these had magnets that were only the size of Miniature Reese's Peanut Butter Cups! :( And I doubt they're Neodymium magnets, either. Installation was strait-forward (thanks to Crutchfield's free speaker wiring adapters and installation adapter rings). Mid-Bass and Midrange response is improved 100%. The tweeters are CRYSTAL clear, but not harsh, tinny, or raspy. These speakers bring out musical detail that the OEM speakers couldn't reproduce. I'm sure they'll sound even better 10-12 hours from now once they're "broken-in". TWO thumbs-up! Thanks again, Crutchfield! (Loyal customer since 1997). I swapped in a new head unit along with these speakers in the front, and the Boston Acoustics SE85 6x8 speakers in the rear, and they sound great in my opinion. An aftermarket head unit will really allow you to customize the sound that comes out of the speakers. Pros: Great sound quality, price, features, easy installation. These speakers are the best I have ever listen too. Everything she said was true about them. The advice and service was nothing short of exceptional. I bought these to replace the factory speakers in the front doors of my 2007 Chevy Silverado... I was looking to buy Kenwood speakers to match my Kenwood Excelon receiver and the advisor recommended these. Much more sound than the factory speakers and far better clarity. They are an excellent match with my Kenwood Excelon!!! Pros: Crisper and cleaner sound than factory speakers. They easily accept the 50 Watts per channel my Excelon pumps out. Cons: Not as much bass response as I would like, but better than my factory speakers...
