Nice system for the price

I upgraded the factory kick panel / tweeter set in my 1992 BMW 325i Convertible using this set -- a custom installation. They sound GREAT!
Installation was flexible enough to accommodate my nonstandard needs. These woofers can throw a decent amount of bass, and the tweeters create a nice sound stage.
Big thanks to the folks at Crutchfield for helping breathe new life into my cruiser!

Along with Alpine Type 6 5/25's in the front of my Rubicon (with adaptor), I installed this setup in the soundbar. All I can say is incredible! Much cleaner, bolder sound than the Blaupunkt system it replaced and picks out the mids beautifully while still adding enough solid base to put my subwoofer puchase on hold. Highly recommended!

Nice speakers but may need some adjustment

I put these in the door of my Sierra pickup, replacing the stock speakers. Nice bass, but the tweeters were too bright for me in my regular cab. I started with the crossover attenuation set to -2dB but moved it to -4dB as it was too bright. Sounds much nicer now. I also installed an Alpine 4 channel amp and an 8" sub to go behind the drivers seat. Everything sounds great now - just enough bass but not too much and just enough treble but not too bright.
