Features
Overview: The Dual DC365W is a single, 2-way rectangular, in-wall speaker, part of the Architectural Series of speakers. The speakers are designed to work within nearly all interior decorating schemes where in-wall or flush-mounting is feasible.
Woofers: The DC365W uses a black 6-1/2" carbon fiber woofer with a Santoprene surround. The speaker is totally enclosed in a hard plastic enclosure.
Tweeters: The DC365W has a 1" titanium dome tweeter. The tweeter can be rotated to adjust the angle, up to approximately 20?. The tweeter is wired with a special protection circuitry. The output of the tweeter can be adjusted, if desired (-3dB, 0dB, +3dB).
Inputs: The speaker's spring loaded posts will accept pin connectors or bare wire up to 12 gauge. The speaker terminals are gold plated for corrosion resistance and maximum signal transfer.
Paintable: Both the frame and grille can be painted to match the ceiling or wall. A plastic paint shield is included to protect the speakers.
Installation: After a 10-15/16" x 7-1/2" cutout is made (either vertically or horizontally), the speaker is installed in the hole and held in place by a rugged plastic screw-set bracket. The only tool required (after the hole is cut) is a #2 Phillips head screwdriver to tighten the clamps. The clamps spread up to 1.375", so they should cover almost any application (most drywall is 1/2" thick). The required depth to install this speaker is 4".
