Here's a great idea. Put a rear-view monitor where you normally look when you're backing up — your rear-view mirror. Accele's RVM430TBTG replacement mirror acts like an ordinary 10" wide, low-glare rear-view mirror, until you put your vehicle into reverse and activate your rear-view camera. Then a 4.3" video screen comes to life on the right-hand side of the mirror, giving you a much more comprehensive view of what's behind you than the mirror alone.

Features

Rear-View Mirror Monitor: The Accele RVM430TBTG rear-view mirror monitor replaces the factory rear-view mirror in select vehicles (not compatible with all vehicles). It offers a back-up camera input, video inputs, and built-in Bluetooth technology.

10" Mirror: When the monitor is powered off, the 10" mirror functions just like a normal rear view mirror as the monitor is hidden and almost invisible.

4.3" Display: A 4.3" (diagonal) LCD screen with a resolution of 480 x 272 (130,560 total pixels) is integrated into the rear-view mirror. You can switch the built-in monitor to a 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratio.

Camera Input: The Accele RVM430TBTG features a composite video rear-view camera input (AV3) and provides automatic reverse trigger for your back-up camera (sold separately), so when your vehicle is placed in reverse, the rear-view mirror monitor will automatically switch to the video input of the rear-view camera.

Video Inputs: There are also two composite video inputs (AV1/AV2) to connect external video sources, such as a DVD player or TV tuner.

Built-in Bluetooth: The Accele RVM430TBTG rear-view mirror monitor features built-in Bluetooth (HFP/HSP) for hands-free communication. You are able to answer and end calls using the rear-view mirror monitor. The caller's number and Caller ID will be visible on the monitor. The rear-view mirror monitor features a built-in mono speaker and comes with an external microphone, so you can carry on a conversation without having your phone up to your ear. To dial a number, you will still need to use the touchscreen or keypad on your mobile phone.

Note: The Accele RVM430TBTG does not support Bluetooth music streaming. Not all Bluetooth-enabled phones will be compatible.

Temperature Sensor: The Accele RVM430TBTG includes a temperature sensor and provides a temperature display on the mirror for the driver to know the temperature outside of the car.

Mounting Options: Simply remove your vehicle's factory mirror from the factory windshield mount. Leave the factory windshield mount in place. The included mounting arm mounts to the back of the RVM430TBTG rear-view mirror monitor using the included machine screws and then slides down over top the factory windshield mount. This type of mount is found in select vehicles; such as Toyota, Ford, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Kia, and Buick (not compatible with every model vehicle of these manufactures).
