Buck Pomerantz

The camera features infrared (IR) illumination, which makes objects and people visible on your monitor even when there's no light at all. This camera's built-in microphone allows you to hear instructions from someone behind your vehicle through the speaker in your Accele monitor up front.

Customer Q&A

Q
will this camera work on a existing voyager system from a 2005 motor home?

A
You will want to contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat to discuss compatibility with your current system. They will be able to pull up your vehicle and see if this will integrate. If it does not, then they will also be able to discuss other options with you.

Q
How much current does this camera draw. The unused antenna power lead from my Kenwood DD672BH is spec'd at 300ma. Would this be adequate to power this camera? It's awfully convenient!

A
The camera itself draws almost nothing. Most installers draw power from the reverse lights at the rear of the vehicle, or from the trailer harness, eliminating the need to run a power wire from the radio to the camera.

The power wire for the antenna is powered by a 8 amp fuse, so you would be fine.

Sorry, can't help you. I don't have the camera option. But being an electronic tech, I'm fairly sure 300ma would be fine. And if it's too much, the fuse will protect the system. But might be worth the try.
