Our take on the Valor ITS-702W

by Matt Holliday
Valor

Why replace your factory radio?

Two good reasons - sound quality and cool features. A new car stereo offers power that's superior to most factory radios, along with more sophisticated tone controls. And most car stereos offer built-in or optional features that add safety and fun to life in your car, including inputs for your iPod or MP3 player, Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free cell phone calls, satellite radio or HD Radio reception, and connections for building an audio system in your car.

The Valor ITS-702W DVD receiver has everything you need to build a multimedia system in your vehicle. It'll play all your DVDs and CDs, including discs you've loaded with MP3 and WMA files. You can attach your iPod to the included cable, and control your playlists from the touchscreen. And an impressive number of inputs and outputs allow you to expand your system.

Your movies come through bright and clear on the motorized, 7" LCD screen when you're parked, and you can also use the touchscreen to scroll through menus. A built-in Dolby Digital stereo processor makes your movie soundtracks and music sound great, with front, rear, and sub preamp outputs on board when you're ready to add more power to your system.

The ITS-702W includes an audio/video input for adding a game console or second video source. You can add rear seat video screens to the receiver's video outputs, and keep your passengers entertained while you drive. The optional rear camera will help you keep an eye on what's behind your vehicle, a big plus if you drive a large vehicle or tow a boat or trailer.

Note: If you're going to use your iPod with this receiver, be sure to check "Details" for specific iPod model compatibility with this receiver or its optional iPod adapter.

Not bad. A little slow (like changing tracks and /or other sources) but the sound and picture are good for a low priced head unit.

    Unusable iPod Interface

Written By No, Sacramento, CA on Wednesday, December 09, 2009

If you plan on buying this for the iPod interface I wouldn't waste my time. First the iPod controls will not let you play an artist whose name starts with a number. Instead it will play a random song on your iPod. Also if you have too much music on your iPod then the stereo will refuse to play anything. Which according to Valor is due to a hardware limitation of the stereo which you won't find listed anywhere. So if you have a small iTunes Library, don't plan on adding more music, don't have any artists that start with a number, or listen to only playlist then this is the perfect stereo for you.

Poor Unit - Valor Customer Service!

Written By Ruggled, Henderson, NC on Friday, June 19, 2009
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I purchased this unit October, 2008 and have had continuous problems from the first month. The iPod interface has had many issues such as displaying a song that is different than what is playing; going into a 'random scan' mode that can only be stop by discontinuing the iPod and the fact that the latest generation iPods will not charge while hooked up. Sound quality is what I expected with an entry level unit. DVD/CD motor is noisy. But the REAL PROBLEM is Valor's customer service, or should I say, lack of customer service. Multiple attempts at e-mail communications about the issues were unsuccessful and calling was not much better. They finally sent a CD to upgrade the firmware, which did not fix any of the problems. Eventually, the interface simply quit working, so I sent the unit back for service (despite the fact that they would not give me a turn-around date). TODAY, they told me that it could be MONTHS before they had a new unit to replace the one I sent in. After a bit of discussion, they offered a refurb unit, which I reluctantly accepted because it was better than waiting for months - I think!

Good but has some ipod issues

Written By vassago, MA on Friday, April 10, 2009
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

So the hookup of this radio went well and there are a lot of connections. Which is all good, but now after using it, there are some issues. I have a 120 gig Ipod classic(6th Gen). When i use the shuffle feature through the radio, the radio will play the same song 8/10 times. If i manually shuffle, then it works 9/10 times. Also the radio lags when changing songs, so it will display one song, but be playing the next. Valor is sending me a software update for it, but they admit it may not fix the issue. It may be the fault of the ipod being "To Large"

    Great Product

Written By Daniel, APO AE on Sunday, March 15, 2009
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I am based overseas at a US military installation. I purchased this product solely by reading the information on the web site at Crutchfield. It is perfect in all aspects, exactly what I was looking for. It receives the USA or European radio stations with ease. One thing could be improved upon, that is adding the capability to receive the traffic announcements over the station while playing a DVD, radio or CD. I had put up with the factory radio long enough here in Europe. Thanks to Crutchfield for being there for me. I will pass your website on to other people int this area. Keep up the good support.

    Awesome Unit- Valor ITS-702W ROCKS!!!

Written By Steve, Boston, MA on Monday, March 02, 2009

I bought this unit based on the feedback, features and price. I was not disappointed. In fact, I was totally impressed. The unit functions perfectly, sounds great and the video quality is awesome. Usually the "you get what you pay for" proverb is true, but in this case it is not- in fact- YOU WIN. The Valor ITS-702W is an excellent unit, made of very high quality materials and sells for half the price of comparably featured head units. You can't go wrong. The Ipod cable was included FREE with this unit. My Ipod - 80GB Video (5th Gen.) with almost 18,000 songs and many videos. The unit handles all my Ipod functions with ease and the videos look awesome.

I installed this unit into my Jeep Wrangler along with some great marine grade Polk speakers made for the unique factory replacement needs of a Wrangler (4x6's in the dash and 5 1/4's in the roll bar). This system cranks out loud, high quality sound without any amps or additional speakers. I wish I could take you for a ride in my Jeep (with the top down, of course) and show you this system in person. I guarantee your next call would be to Crutchfield ordering the exact same set up.

A couple issues, but all in all a great unit

Written By Tyler, San Diego, CA on Thursday, February 26, 2009
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This unit is great except for a couple things.
    1) The antenna is terrible. I can't really pick up a whole lot of radio stations completely clear.
    2) The iPod interface acts up from time to time with the iPhone, but for the most part works out great.
    3) The touch screen was a little annoying until i figured out the trick. You have to keep your finger on the screen till your selection is highlighted which is good because it keeps from wrong selections.
Other than that, it's a great unit for the price. I am definitely pleased with my purchase.

You get what you pay for

Written By Michael, chesapeake, va on Wednesday, February 11, 2009
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Bought this unit for my 01 Dakota because of the low price, knew I may be
gambling on quality. Sound is pretty good, video quality is alright. I'm
planning on installing a subwoofer soon so we'll see how that goes.
-Problems with installation, Crutchfield was a great help
-Had to get firmware upgrade to play iPod, still don't have firmware for iPod
    videos.
-Touch screen isn't always accurate or register the touch
-Screen will freeze or open up completely black, have to turn off and back on
-iPod playlist songs will not match song playing sometime, could be iPod i
    guess?
    -Screen will shake/vibrate sometimes
-Doesn't always turn off with my truck flicking my lights sometimes works, I
think my truck wiring is messed up, haven't heard of anyone else having
    this problem

Despite these setbacks I'm satisfied with the product, I did get what I paid
for. Just be aware of this if you plan on purchasing this product

Soon on its way back to Crutchfield

Written By Brandon_01, Florence, SC on Monday, February 02, 2009

I purchased this unit for my 01 Expedition EB. I read the reviews and thought I would give it a shot. Things started out great. Better sound than the factory unit and my iPod works with it. A week later, things start going wrong. I end up needing a firmware from Valor to fix an issue with iPod integration. It kept asking me to "reset iPod and skip" and wouldn't play anything from the iPod. After loading the firmware update, issue went away for a while but has come back a few times. I would have to pull off the road and go through a series of buttons on it and the iPod to get it to play again.
-Like the other reviewer said, the touch screen isn't that good. Found myself more times than not selecting the wrong options then having to go back to try again.
-I have also noticed at times the picture on the screen shakes in the upper left corner (truck not in motion). Made me think I was seeing things.
-Radio reception is not good. Lost half the stations I used to get with the factory unit.
-Remote is not planned out well.....also way to many buttons to have to use during night driving.

If you want a radio that is easy to use and works well while driving, this is not the choice for you.

I have an RA # and it is soon on its way back to Crutchfield.

    Crutchfield A+, Valor F----

Written By Michael, Anchorage on Wednesday, January 07, 2009
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The title pretty much says it all. As always shopping with Crutchfield was am superb expereience.

The unit is now dead. I bought it for the dvd/ ipod usage. Install with Crutchfield instructions went perfect.

This unit doesnt work with 6th Gen iPods. As people said there is a firmware update. After a month of unreturned phone calls & emails with Valor, a call to crutchfield got the right one firmware in less than two hours. I downloaded the patch, and attempted update; half way into part one of the update process the unit went completely dead. Completely unresponsive.

Another month into waiting on a respsonse from valor. I've called, emailed, even posted on thier site. I did take it to a local shop to see if there was a fuse, or reset or something, only to confirm a dead unit.

I was about to call crutchfield again but decided the lack of producer customer support has left me wanting to shop elsewhere (brand-wise)

Rather than spend more time & money on this unit, I'll see what else Crutchfield has.

    worst head unit ever

Written By eddie, Frederick,Ok on Sunday, January 04, 2009
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

this was by far the worst car stereo i have ever bought. Cruchfield has been great about making me happy though. I installed this unit around June and yes DVD quality is great, however everything else is horriable. Touch screen refuses to work when you touch it, Ipod controls suck. The first one i installed lasted about a month and the right side speaker bank went out, Crutchfield sent me a replacemt. The replacement lasted about 3 the sub pre-out quit working and even the screen wouldnt show anything. Also the sub pre-out is controlled by the bass setting not the sub setting. Please dont waste your money, for about $100 more you can get alot better head unit. I just want to say thanks to Crutchfield for taking great care of their customers.

    Not Worth It

Written By Lucas, Omaha, NE on Monday, December 29, 2008
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Don't waste your time or money on this. I've had it installed for almost a year and I'm ready to throw it away.

    Good:
    * Sound quality is OK.

    Bad:
    * The iPod interface is terrible (I had to create new playlists to even make it usable).
    * The touch screen should be called a "hit screen" because of the amount of force it takes to make a selection.
    * The tuner is week; I can't get a strong signal from local stations.
    * The CD/DVD player can't maintain the current track when you turn the ignition off and leave the car for a few minutes. It either locks-up or starts back at track 1.
    * The iPod controller can't remember where it's at in a particular song so if you have to turn the car off for even 10 seconds when you restart it you are back to the beginning of the song (if it even comes back on without locking-up).
    * The display contrast is terrible and is almost impossible to read in daylight (blue background with black text, come on Valor, use some common sense).

I could go on but I think you get the idea. I will be purchasing a name brand (i.e. quality) unit to replace this in the near future. Just remember YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I tried to save some money and it's going to cost me more in the long run.

To Many negative people in the world

Written By tychar1999, ATHENS, Al on Wednesday, December 10, 2008

It's easy to operate sounds great without a amp or just the unit itself. I do have amps and preamp so the surround sound is off the hook. The picture quality is wonderful i'm going to get another one for my other car. For the money it's the best one i found and the picture quality on my extra raw lcd screen is just as good to view. I love it and can't say one negative thing about it.

    I love this unit

Written By Blake, Houston on Tuesday, December 02, 2008
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought mine about a year ago and it has performed excellent. It does everything it says it does. It may read disks a little slow but after it reads the disk it never misses a beat after that no big deal.
I hooked up an original Xbox in my car to the A/V inputs this thing offers and was stunned with the clarity. The picture appeared similar to my 720P screen even though I was running the Xbox on standard definition. I installed it myself thanks to the free installation tools mailed with this product.(Thanks to Crutchfield!)
The sound should also be noted on, the built in amp will amaze you if you have a factory headunit right now. People even assumed I had an outboard amplifier! I hooked up Alpine front and rear and thought about not installing a sub, but I later did, maximizing my bass like never before.
NOTE: JUST BUY AN OLDER IPOD!!!!!

    Valor ITS-702W

Written By William, Silverdale, WA on Wednesday, November 26, 2008
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

When I purchased the Valor unit I knew that it was an entry level DVD system. After using it for the past couple of weeks I can tell you that it has met my expectations and is a great unit for the price. It delivers good sound, excellent picture quality, it's easy to use and has a great Ipod interface. The touch screen may not be as responsive as some high dollar units and I found the random play feature to occasionally turn it self off. Minor items! However, for the price I highly recommend this unit

Horrible user interface - particularly iPOD

Written By Steven, Massachusetts on Monday, November 03, 2008
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The user interface on this receiver leaves much to be desired, particularly for iPOD integration. Contrary to the reviews, there is no update for the firmware, so if you have a later than 5th generation iPOD, you are out of luck. For other iPODs, you are not much better off: the shuffle play replays the same tracks over and over again - far from random. If you start skipping tracks, the shuffle feature turns itself off. Selecting playlists is next to impossible, etc.

That, coupled with other "features" like a very loud cooling fan, and incompatibility with AM stations broadcasting hybrid HD signals makes this far from the deal it appears to be...

    Don't Bother

Written By Tristan, Pasadena, MD. on Monday, November 03, 2008
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I was excited by the reviews for this unit, and of course the price. The 4 1/2 stars it was getting convinced me to ignore the old saying "You get what you pay for". First mistake. What came to my door was a unit that just barely does what it says it does, but does it begrudgingly, and mostly just frustrates me.

    The Good:
It does, in fact, play DVD's, CD's, and hook up to your iPod. Sound does, in fact come out of the speakers. The auto up/down feature is nice. DVD
playback is the most glitch-free part. So if that's your primary goal, then you'll be well served. I like the screen partition for simple controls. Picture quality looks great at night

    The Bad:
The touch screen sensitivity is terrible, I have to touch things multiple times to get them to input. This is very frustrating with FM presets, and especially the iPod nterface. Speaking of iPod hookup, this is probably the worst part. The folder reverts back to what's playing now in about 2 seconds, which is more time than it will take you to push the button for the folder/song you want to access with the lousy touch screen. Even the manual buttons require multiple touches to do anything. Volume knob is infant-finger tiny.

Overall I really want to enjoy this head unit, but I just can't endorse any product that makes my experience worse than the factory unit. Besides the quality playback of DVDs, this unit is garbage. Keep saving and get one of the more expensive units. I learned my lesson the hard way.

The unit installed very easily into the dash. The video screen is very clear,
even in full sunlight. The touch screen works well and makes it very easy
to control radio, cd, and i-pod functions. The picture quality rivals most LCD
tv screens and the sound is incredible through my factory speakers. My
wife drives the car daily and she LOVES the unit. Thank you Crutchfield for
sending the free install gear and instructions. I have been a customer for
years and have never been disappointed.

    Great DVD player for Price

Written By ryin, Granby, MA on Monday, September 01, 2008
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I was looking into purchasing a Car DVD player because I was tired of using my PSP for viewing on ski trips and such. After I installed the unit, I was very impressed. The screen looked great compared to other brands I have seen and it is very bright, bright enough to watch movies on a sunny day.I had a bad ipod cable that made funny sounds but crutchfield sent me a new unit right away.

The only issues or flaws I found that are minor are. The buttons are small to see, but I learned there position quickly. when there is a cd inside and turn the car on, the load time is a little slow about 5-10 seconds, but not a major issue. Other times when I shut the vehicle off, the dvd or cd will resume from its last point, but other times it will start from the beginning. maybe it depends on how long the vehicle is shut off for. There is only bass, treble, balance and fade settings, but it still sounds good. and there is only one RCA for the subwoofer. other than these minor design flaws this is a great unit for the price and the motorized screen has that wow feature many people dont have.

I didnt rate this 5 stars because of the minor issues and it is not the "Perfect" unit but overall I would buy recommend this dvd player.

I bought this dvd player and it has been working great. The sound is
good. Touchscreen, and i love how it takes over the ipod on the screen. I
found though when you scroll through artists it cant keep up and ends up
playing a totally different artist than what you want. Also even when my
car is in park or just running on the battery i cant watch a movie because it
is disabled for safety purposes. Other than that it works great, and is a
    great buy for the money.

I bought this unit for the price it seemed to be the best for the least amount of money. I use the ipod control and i have an first generation ipod nano and it has work great from the moment that i plugged it in the dvd player works great the cds some time have a long load time but after you get used to it you can deal with it. I would recommend this unit to anyone that doesn't want to spend alot of money but wants a decent dvd player and touchscreen. And this is not the unit to get if you want to control every aspect of the sudio you can only control bass, treble, loud, and subwoofer and you have to split the subwoofer out but I did it and it has worked fine for me would recommned this unit

Not so hot about the CD motor, lack of tuning options, or long load times,
but this unit is a good choice for an economy touchscreen DVD player with
good features. Very similar to the Valor ITS-700W, but adds A/V inputs
(hook up a game console or other video source), an I-Pod direct cable
(control your ipod without touching it), and direct satellite radio capability.

Awesome unit, easy to install. Picture looks great with DVD playback. I have
also installed a back up camera, I love the way it automaticly switches to
back up camera when I put my truck into reverse. Sound output is very
good as well. Easy to control via remote or touch screen. I have found one
small issue, the built in IPOD controller will only playback the 1st 256 artist
from my IPOD. I have emailed Crutchfield adn MFG about it. It plays the first
256 artist perfect though. Great unit.

I've owned DVD units from both Alpine and Jensen and this one is just as good if not better. The quality is great and installation is a breeze. The screen quality is excellent. There are enough preset audio settings that pretty much everyone should be happy. If I remember I'll check back in another 6 months with an update. Definately buy this!

    I absolutely love
    this head unit. It
    does have some
    problems but for the
    price point and
    features you can not
    go wrong. Okay first
    the problems so far.
    The delay times are
    semi long. When you
    switch modes it
    takes a second
    before the head unit
    processes it. There
    is not a full
    equalizer built in
    to the unit. The
    only adjustments you
    get are the basics
    like Bass, Treble,
    Fade and Loud on and
    off. Other then that
    I have no other
    complaints. The DVD
    playback is
    excellent. The unit
    doesn't skip over
    big bumps and
    doesn't shake or
    vibrate while
    driving. The iPod
    playback worked
    great with my iPod
    video. I definitely
    recommend this
    product as a great
    entry level Touch
    Screen DVD player.

    What a GREAT unit!

Easy installation, simple adjustment of all options, terrific menus and above all, excellent sound and video.

Was a bit apprehensive moving from my Alpine CD to this unit but I will never look back. Very well thought out options and settings and attention to detail.

Best of all, you can use this radio without opening the screen if listening only. Screen can be adjusted to open automatically, at will, etc.

Has options for auto-dimming, power antenna, everything's here.

Radio comes so that a DVD CANNOT be played on the main (front) screen while in motion.

All in all, very happy with this unit and CRUTCHFIELD ROCKS!

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Installed this unit in a hour and a half. CF provided the dual wiring harness and front din bracket for my vehicle. (Fit perfectly) Spent the majority of the time on the wiring harness. The video on this unit is excellent. I even tried some serious bumpy roads and the video was flawless. The touch screen is great, really easy to navigate the settings.
The audio doesn't skip a beat while retracting the display and switches to the front display. Great sound with polk audio speakers installed with it.
My iPod was a little slow loading but with 6000 plus songs it's to be expected. I must say the iPod cable provided was plenty long enough to reach your console. You can't beat this unit for the price and the functionality you get.

I normally don't spend the time to write reviews, but this unit is well worth the money spent. I would recommend this unit.
    Enjoy

I had wanted a unit like this for a while and shopped around and I have to say this is the best value for the dollar. Great sound and nice screen display make it that much better. I like being able to control the unit with the screen closed and see time, station, etc. on the mini LCD display.

Install was a breeze and CF provides everything you need. Though the instructions were a little vague on connecting the parking feature (so the DVD will play), it went smooth. This was my second purchase with CF for a reason. And these reviews helped too. I like reading the good and the not so good so I know what I'm getting.

I am very satisfied with the (ITS-702W). The picture is great on DVD's and I love how i can control my iPOD with the touch screen. You can't beat the features for the money. I installed in my conversion van, ran a wire to the TV in the back and everyone can enjoy the ride. The main issue I have is when i am in iPOD mode the song titles are kind of bunched too close and it is hard to press on the song. But you can use the smart knob if you have trouble so it's not a big deal.

    Great value for your dollar!!!!!

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This went in like a dram. It came with everything I needed including cables, ipod interface cable, and dash adapter. I opted for the additonal in-line amplified harness due to having the Mach system in my 1998 Expedition. I pre-soldered and heat shrank everything on the work bench and dropped this in in about 20 minutes. the amount of connection comming from the back made it a little challengin to cram it all into the dash but otherwise it was easy. The quality has been excellent so far. It plays my ipod and dvd's like a dream. I had some trouble with it recognizing burned discs but it's not a priority since I have the ipod anyway. All in all it's a great head unit for the price, and with very good quality from a relatively unknown name.

The sound is great with the polk audio speakers that i just installed the day before that. the picture is great, sound is very adjustable, and no real complaint about the system so far. For the money you can not go wrong. cf gives you all of the instructions if you need them, but most of it all is common sence. anyone who is looking for a new system look at reviews they really do help decide wether to get it or not. thanks cf!!!

    IPod control

this unit (dose not) currently work with generation 6 or later IPods. However, I called Valor and they informed me that there would be a "firmware" download in early March 2008 that would download the proper software to connect the later model IPods. The download can be found @ the Valor web-site. Other then that this seems to be an exellant choice for those of us who do not wish to spend more on a deck then we spent on rims. I have tried a few different models. this one by far is the best choice. All other features work great, pimping your ride is easily done with this unit. It plays more file types then any other deck I've tried.

This is a great item for the money. I have been installing head units and other stereo equipment for many years now, and this is the best deal that I have had (without a "hook up").

The only two issues that I have with this head unit is that when I have my Ipod hooked playing when I turn off my vehicle, and it's been off for a good while i.e overnight, it doesn't go straight back to ipod it goes to the radio function. If I'm just running in and out of a store or something it will pop right back on to the song that I was listening too.

The only other one is also an ipod issue. I have an 80gb ipod and sometimes....most of the time...it takes a couple of tries to get my all of my songs loaded, but then again it is a lot of information to load. Other than that....great gift for the car lovers....they'll never know what you paided for it.

When picking out a new receiver for my diamante i looked around and by the sound of the reviews this was the best one out there for the price. The lcd is really clear and the internal amplifier helps a lot. The only way you can mess up the whole multimedia experience is if you buy this unit and dont take into consideration that u have cheap factory speakers. Replace those because this unit will destroy your factory speakers. I replaced all speakers with polk audios and the sound is incredible. Hands down best upgrade to my car so far..... Dont be scared of the price or the install. CF gives you everything you need!!!! Crutchfield is the best......

High Quality, High Value, Low Cost DVD Receiver

Written By Tony, Detroit, MI on Thursday, May 31, 2007
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This is a great unit. I imagine the comparable high cost ones deserve 5 stars in terms of sound, power, and maybe picture quality, but many of them cost more than double this unit. So I gave 4 stars, but in terms of bang for the buck this is definitely a 5 star plus unit.

The widescreen is great for your DVDs although it distorts or stretches some of my iPod videos. It has great video quality in darkness and it's decent in sunlight. For some reason you cannot adjust the video parameters while in DVD mode so I did all the adjusting while in iPod video mode. Oh yeah, this unit controls your iPod music with the touch screen and you can play iPod videos on the screen too using the iPod itself as the controller. iPod funtionality is included and not an extra unlike its competitors.

I considered getting a double DIN DVD unit but I got this because when closed it is more stealthy and hopefully no one will notice it and want to steal it.

Another complaint I have is I wish the screen brightness could be turned down more at night while driving. Even at the lowest brightness setting, it can be too bright at times. That being said the screen is beautiful and clear and one could always just retract the screen while driving.

I like that I can listen to concert DVDs while driving and the screen is retracted. I assume this is standard unless I wired something wrong.

The sound quality is very good but obviously not for people who like it really really loud and banging since the max volume is relatively low and this is a lower wattage unit. You could always get amps, better speakers, and a subwoofer if you want louder sound I suppose.

Great Unit!! I could not have been happier. Do not be scared of the price. This thing is awesome for what crutchfield sells it for...

    About the unit:
    1) Awesome sound.
    2) The screen is flawless -- DVD Movies show up better on this screen than it does on my laptop
    3) Touchscreen works great.

    About Crutchfield:
This was my first purchase w/ CF and I have never installed anything in my car before. So here is what I have to say about them:

    1) Perfect install instructions -- Car Specific
    2) Great customer service
    3) Gave me everything I needed to install it in my car!

Don't buy from anywhere else... even if they offer free installation, they charge you for the wiring harness and faceplate... You get that for free w/ Crutchfield and even my wife could have installed this system with the instructions CF gave. Bam! There is nothing left to say.

    Perfect.
