Polyglass Cone: The FOCAL Polyglass 27V1 features an 11" polyglass cone woofer for a wide, dynamic frequency response of 35-500Hz that offers great bass and mid-bass sound. The uniform deposit of hollow-glass microballs over the entire cellulose pulp cone greatly increases its rigidity without adding significant weight, so you get a woofer that is durable, yet efficient, and sounds great.
Aluminum Dust-Cap: The Polyglass 27V1 features an aluminum dust-cap with an engraved FOCAL logo for a more esthetic look.
NBR Surround: The FOCAL Polyglass 27V1 features a NBR (Nitrile Butyl Rubber) surround for long excursion, deep bass, and added durability to promote long life.
Aluminum Voice-Coil Former: The Polyglass 27V1 woofer features a 4 layer, 2.0" diameter, 4-ohm, aluminum voice-coil former for higher power handling capabilities up to 250 watt (RMS) and 500 watt (Peak).
Louvered Cooling System: The Polyglass 27V1's Louvered Cooling System is self-regulated ventilation system which increases air cooling, prevents heat build-up, and provides optimized reliability with performance consistency.
