Focal applies the same technology they use in their studio and audiophile-grade home systems to their Integration line of car speakers. Integration IC 130 5-1/4" speaker cones are made of Polyglass, a material that combines the warm sound of cellulose with the strength of glass, for a woofer that plays accurately with no added resonances.

Adjustable tweeter
The Integration processed aluminum inverted dome tweeter features a built-in phase plug and wave guide, which act together to increase the power of high-frequency notes and improve the stereo soundstage. You can also tilt the tweeter for better imaging in many vehicles. Integration speakers allow you to put Focal sound quality and construction into your vehicle without a lot of muss and fuss, so you can enjoy a dramatic jump in performance over your old speakers.

Why replace your car's original speakers?

The speakers that originally came in your car were made from inexpensive materials, designed to create acceptable sound at the lowest possible cost to the manufacturer. If you love music, you deserve better. Name-brand aftermarket speakers deliver fuller, richer sound with considerably more detail and nuance, and they're capable of playing louder and cleaner than factory speakers. Connect new speakers to your factory radio and you'll get the best possible sound from your dealer-equipped system. Pair them up with a new car stereo for a level of enjoyment that can rival a high-fidelity home audio experience.

Features

Polyglass Cone: The woofer cone has a cellulose pulp base and is coated with a uniform deposit of hollow glass microballs. The addition of the Polyglass layer significantly increases the cone's rigidity without adding much weight. This combination takes advantage of the accuracy and neutrality of the hard outer surface, but maintains the superior damping characteristics of the cellulose pulp.

Surround: The butyl rubber surround is resistant to ultraviolet rays, temperature extremes, and humidity to add to the speaker's reliability and longevity.

Voice Coil: The voice coil is wound around a 1" diameter low-mass Kapton former, ensuring no coil deformation.

Inverted Dome Tweeter: The tweeter is an inverted aluminum dome, producing a broad sound stage. The tweeter rotates on its post, so it can be pointed toward the listener.

Focal Integration IC 130

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

replaced the factory speakers in my 2011 Silverado helped tremendously over the stock speakers. I plan on replacing the stock cd player at some point but these will help a lot till then. To install these speakers in the rear doors I gutted the stock speakers and used the frame as a mounting bracket worked very well then you just bolt it back in like it came out.

Pros: very good sound from my stock radio

Cons: none

Good Value for Rear Door Use

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Decent quality sound for an inexpensive 5-1/4 coaxial. I used these in the rear doors of my 2014 VW Golf (paired with Focal's Golf 6 Integration Kit in the front) and they are just fine for that purpose. The low end is as one would expect from a 5-1/4 and the mids and highs are precise enough for a speaker at this price point. The adjustable tweeters are a nice touch, especially in my application where I replaced a factory woofer low in the door and disabled the factory tweeter - being able to aim the tweeters was therefore helpful. My Crutchfield salesperson recommended these for my application and talked me out of spending more money for the rear, which was good advice. I would not choose these as my primary speakers, but as a rear fill in they are just fine.

Pros: Performs as expected for the price and size; adjustable tweeters.

Cons: Tweeter adjustment feels flimsy, similar poor attention to detail as other Focal products.

IC-130, crisp & clean

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

As this was the first time I have up graded speakers I researched many products. With so many excellent products out there it came down to customer service. My search ended when I contacted Crutchfield. After receiving my new Focal IC-130's Installation was a snap. I couldn't believe how much of the instrumentals I was missing with factory speakers. With one of the first songs I listened to I heard the drummer tapping the rim of his snare drum. The crinkling of paper I heard from a Pink Floyd tune. Simply amazing. Due to economics, I am piece mealing my complete system. I am so looking forward to my next purchase.

Pros: Crisp & clean highs. Not harsh at all. The adjustable tweeters help aim the highs when low in the door installation is required. Mid range very nice. Plenty of power handling.

Cons: Can't think of any. No fault to the speaker, but I'm looking forward to adding an amp so performance will be even better.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Initially considered JIAudio and Alpine for rear fill in my big people mover but paired these with 165 VR components and all I can say is OMG.... These guys make really good drivers. I use them for 2channel in my guy cave. Timbre awesome....Soundstage has expanded where previous Infinity 6012's(a really good speaker in its' own right...but) could not go. I am pushing with 62.5w RMS(truck has 4 speakers in rear) from 4ch mb QUARTZ with Alpine 9886 Head and Type R 12" DVC driven by Memphis Mono. Crutchfield's YukonXL vs.my ride sound off...close your mouth dude...ur drooling on my carpet!

Pros: Focal build quality, know how Polyglass woofer durability and power handeling Tweeter angling Ease of installation

Cons: Should have been a 6.5 inch
