Enclosed Subwoofers 101
An enclosed subwoofer is a box with a subwoofer already installed. The advantage to buying an enclosed sub is that the manufacturer made the sub, then designed and built the box as a perfect match, so you'll get the best possible performance. Every enclosed sub has a maximum RMS power handling rating, so pair it with an amp with a similar RMS power rating to get the best performance.

Ease of Use
I am running this sub with a bridged Focal FPP 4100 in the trunk of a Mercedes C280. (The first 2 channels run my Focal ISN 165 fronts.) The sound quality on this sub is Amazing. You can hear every note perfectly and kicks sound so tight and amazing. It hits hard because of the 10" size and also goes pretty deep. It doesn't crap out even with 808 style kicks and deep sub bass. It sounds so good I am going to add another one very soon so I have a pair. You cannot go wrong. If I had to do it all over again I would probably just do 2 10" in one box. It's not that this single sub isn't good enough, it's just SO good I want More!
