Overview: The Thule 605-Ascent 1700 Cargo Carrier mounts to
most factory installed and aftermarket vehicle roof racks. The 605-Ascent 1700
features pre-installed QuickGrip mounting hardware for easy on/off attachment to
roof racks (no tools required). The Cargo Carrier is made of vacuum molded ABS
high grade impact and scratch resistant material, while its pre-installed hardware is zinc-iron plated
steel with nylon straps and buckles. The 605-Ascent 1700 Cargo Carrier offers 17
cubit feet of space and handles up to 110 lbs. Thanks to its dual-side opening
feature, you can access your travel gear from either side of the Cargo Carrier.
The carrier is easy to open and close thanks to Thule's NO-GO Central Locking,
One Key System. The Cargo Carrier weighs only 40 lbs while utilizing exclusive Diffuser Technology to cut down on drag and
wind noise when mounted atop your vehicle.
Note: The Cargo Carrier requires an aftermarket or
factory installed roof-mount rack to mount to the roof of your vehicle. This
box may cause interference with some station wagons and hatch backs.
