Product Research

Features

Amplifier Inputs: The amp has two inputs; RCA and mini-jack. Both are live simultaneously, so if both are connected, selection must be made by turning one source off.

Note: If both sources connected to the line inputs (RCA and 3.5mm) are turned on, it's likely you'll hear static through the speakers in addition to music, even if one is muted or paused.

Speaker Mounting: The speakers are designed to mount to a round tube using the adjustable stainless steel clamps. Six different spacer sizes are included for use with tubes from 5/8" to 1-1/2" (approximately). Once the speakers are in place, but before the brackets are tightened, you can adjust the mounting angle. After mounting, the speakers can still swivel almost 360°.

Wiring: All the wiring is fixed length and already attached to the speakers and amplifier. Each speaker has a 37" input wire attached and the wires from all four speakers are attached to a single Molex plug. The speaker output wires and the power and ground wires attached to the amplifier are routed together for 18" in a nylon sleeve. Three inches from the sleeve, the speaker wires are attached to a Molex plug (which connects to the plug attached to the speaker wires). The power and ground wires extend 6-1/2' beyond the sleeve with a 10 amp fuse in-line with the power wire.

Volume: The rotary volume control has a 76" cable attached that plugs into the amp and mounts in a round hole in a panel, 0.27" diameter.

Dimensions:

Customer Q&A

Q
What is the best way to add a subwoofer to a system like this?

I gotchu. what youre going to want to do is tap into 2 of the speakers wires. then run these two wires into a LOC. Line Output Converter. this will convert the high voltage signals into low voltage frequencies (RCA). because the LOC is only barrowing the Frequencies not the power no watts will be lost to the speakers the channels are powering. run the RCA cables to your external amp, and amp to your sub. id recommend the 20000watt 24 inch square jackhammer, but you may need like $15,000

Q
If I was to mount two speakers to the handle bars, of a motorcycle, are the wires for these speakers able to be ran below the gas tank and not melt over the engine heat?

A
I mounted two on the handle bars and two on the crash bars. I ran the wires under the tank and mounted the amp in the left saddle bag. I've had no problems with heat at all. The only thing is the included harness is much to short and all 4 speakers attach with one plug to the amp. I spliced additional wire into the harness to make everything reach. I put 3 extra feet on all the wires coming from the speakers, ran everything under the tank, then trimmed what I didn't need before I reattached them to the plug end of the harness. The sound quality isn't bad, it's not high end for sure, but for the price I can't complain.

My motorcycle has room to keep the wires off the engine and not worry about melting. The wires with this system are not long enough to reach the handlebars though. They are also universally mounted together with a single plug, so hiding the wires is difficult without cutting and splicing. I had to do this with mine, to both get the length I needed and to hide the wires. As a side note too, wind noise is more of a factor than I thought it would be. I have to keep my windshield on the bike to hear it above 40 mph.
