If you want to upgrade the audio system in your boat, but don't have enough space for an "in-dash" receiver, this MRH7 waterproof radio housing from Boss is the ideal solution. It'll house and protect a wide selection of single-DIN (2" tall) marine receivers, and the universal mounting bracket makes it easy to install in the best spot on your boat.
This rugged, marine-rated housing is made for life on the water. The UV-stabilized ABS plastic housing won't crack or fade in broiling sunlight, while the poly-carbonate tinted front panel and heavy-duty gasket protect your receiver from salt and spray. Boss even includes external wiring for connecting your power, speakers, and amp, so water can't get in.
Receiver not included.

Pros: Great item
this is a tight little marine case..easy to install, built well, and l@@ks good...
Pros: price, looks
Used this enclosure for a new receiver I installed on our old cabin cruiser. Looks great and does a nice job protecting the radio. Nice quality for the price.
Pros: Has good weather seal for front door, housing and all wiring.
Cons: Can be a little tight to fit the radio and all wiring but with a little finesse, it all goes together. Gimbal mount is not quite as solid as I would like but I'm sure it will be just fine.
Nice weather proof radio enclosure
Pros: Easy to install radio
Cons: Bracket a little on the flimsy side
Stylish, clean looking, ideal for marine applications
Pros: Watertight, easy installation

You have to wire them to your stereo harness. They are about 6 inches long or so. [ DANIEL Feb 08, 2016 ]
