Great Speakers

We recently added a sunroom on to our home and wanted to be able to pipe music into the room from an amplifier in different room. We purchased the Polk Atrium 45 speakers in white to blend in w/the light colored walls. My husband found them easy to install. They look great on the wall and the fact that they swivel is a very nice feature so one can aim them the direction of choice. For our needs, in a 240sq foot room with a slightly pitched ceiling, they seem to be just perfect. The sound quality is great with enough base and treble to make most all music sound fantastic. We have had them a couple wks and have enjoyed using them every day. We look forward to many years of service from them. If you need speakers for a similar situation --you won't be disappointed w/these Polk speakers.

Top Value in Outdoor Speakers

Just installed these in my covered patio area, hoping that they would project sound to my uncovered area (15-18 feet away). They sound great in both places. I like to hear smooth jazz, new big band sound (ie. Michael Buble') and my wife likes new country. These sound good for all of them with enough bass to satisfy my listening expectations. (I run these on my Denon AVR 2808CI.)

Polk Atrium 45

I'm absolutely delighted! I mounted these speakers outside by our pool just underneath the porch roof. The sound is so much better than I expected. I'm the dedicated music lover in my household and I can tell you that these speakers deliver a very clean, crisp, and clear sound. Much of the listening I do out there in the pool area is of satellite radio but I did notice that when I play CD's the sound quality is even better. I couldn't be happier. For the money, I believe this was a very good investment!

These came as a part of a Sonos Bundle so I welcomed them. Overall, I am not impressed. Not very full sound. I have tried making as many adjustments as I can and they just sound OK. I don't dislike them enough not to use them and it is nice that they are outdoor speakers, just not overly impressed.
