I'm glad I picked these; silk dome tweeters have are not too sharp/harsh on the ears, they are crystal-clear, and definately improved my system. I had to do a tiny bit of fabricating to make them fit inside the dash of my Jeep (in the factory location), but when I tested them out for the first time I'm sooo glad I picked these. I listen to a wide range of music (from Stevie Ray Vaughn to Tricky) and these hold up well for my high standards. Plus, being pushed by my Rockford Fosgate P400-4 amp, they hold up loud and clear under high volumes. I haven't heard these played straight from a head unit, but I'm pretty sure they would still be an improvement over factory tweets. Thanks Polk. You will have to be creative in some cars without factory tweeters, as these are deeper than other tweeters, when using the flush mounts. In line filters are an excellent feature. It allows these speakers to run as they were meant to. These Polks really sound great though. This is my first Polk experience and will not be my last. They are made of high quality materials that were made to last and outrun it's competitors. These speakers are unbeatable at this price.
