At Crutchfield, you'll get detailed, accurate information that's hard to find elsewhere.
That's because we have our own in-house Product Research team — they open the box,
verify contents, check the owner's manual, and record dimensions, features and specs.
We stay on top of new products and technologies to help people make informed choices.

Dynamic
Balance Technology:
Laser imaging research allows Polk to observe the resonances of different cone
materials. Polk engineers have used laser imaging techniques to find the right
combination of materials, geometry and construction needed to tune out response
distorting resonances. The result is excellent bass and smooth, clear midrange
response.
Cast
Aluminum MOMO Arrow Basket:
The futuristic-looking woofer basket is designed to mimic MOMO wheel designs.
The basket is finished with diamond-polished silver metallic paint.
Woofer
Cone Materials: The
polymer/mica composite woofer cones produce rock solid mid-bass response and
lifelike midrange detail. Each woofer is made with a light, but strong, woven
carbon fiber dustcap to improve efficiency. The woofers feature 1.5" voice
coils.
Motor
Cup: The 14.4 oz. woofer magnet is covered
by a metal cup made to match the basket's styling. The outside of the cup is
finished with diamond-polished silver metallic paint. A red and black acrylic
plate with a yellow MOMO logo and a Polk Audio logo is attached to the bottom of
the cup.
Butyl
Rubber Woofer Surrounds: The butyl rubber
surrounds are airtight and durable for long-term reliability and superior bass
response.
Tweeter
Materials:
The 1" dome tweeters are made with a red silk diaphragm for flat response,
great inner detail and low distortion. Each tweeter features a neodymium
magnet for ultra-high efficiency.
Tweeter
Mounting Options:
This system includes mounting parts and hardware for flush tweeter mounting and
surface tweeter mounting. In both mounting configurations, the tweeters can be
pivoted to "aim" their output for the best high frequency response and
soundstaging.
2-way
Crossovers: The
included crossovers include a 12dB/octave, 3500Hz high-pass filter for the
tweeters and a 12dB/octave, 3500Hz low-pass filter for the woofers. Each
crossover includes a "mid-range extension" switch that allows you to
turn off the low-pass filter and send full-range output to the woofer; this
feature can be helpful in achieving a better blend of woofer and tweeter output
when the two drivers are located far apart from each other. The high-pass filter
is made with Mylar capacitor and air-core inductor components for better
transparency.
Selectable
Tweeter Output Level:
Each crossover has a 3-position switch that allows you to select the tweeter
output level according to system requirements and personal preference. The
switches may be set to "-6dB", "-3dB" or "0dB".
Crossover
Mounting: There
are 2 mounting holes in the base of each crossover; screws to mount the
crossovers are not supplied. The crossovers are not weather proof, so they
should not be mounted in locations, such as door panels, that will expose them
to direct contact with water.
Crossover
Terminals: The
crossover terminals are nickel-plated.
