For the price I expected something somewhat more sturdy or better designed. It is cheap, flimsy plastic and I'm curious to see how it holds up to the drywall installers. It almost feels disposable. When I went to attach the mounting tab the tiny, poorly designed locking tab broke as I GENTLY pushed it together as it was obviously weak. I would NOT recommend. I've used other brands of pre-construction brackets in our home and those were made of metal and actually a few dollars cheaper. I am very disappointed.
Cons: Cheap plastic, broke easily while carefully assembling.Crutchfield response on May 4, 2016 Whenever you encounter a problem with anything you purchase from Crutchfield, especially a situation like this, please contact our customer service team right away.
