The Polk TSi200s deliver open sound with wide staging and precise imaging. These speakers feature Polk's exclusive Dynamic Balance® drivers that undergo laser testing to find and eliminate resonance points, ensuring that everything you listen to sounds clean and accurate. The silk tweeter produces sparkling highs, while dual polycarbonate woofers pump out smooth mids and lows. The braced MDF cabinet fights resonance so the details in your music and movies shine through, even when you crank up the volume.
Just team these speakers with a Polk powered subwoofer for full-range sound. They also work great as surround speakers when used with Polk's TSi floor-standing models. And the TSi200 looks good, too. The woodgrain vinyl finish and elegant piano black top plate complement just about any décor.

Amasing sound good bass and mid range sounds
Pros: Excellent sound perfet size
So far so good. Replaced smaller front speakers with these. Guess they are bigger than I anticipated, but not an issue. Sounds good....give them a little break-in period to see if they start sounding even better. But really great so far.
Pros: Look good and sound great!
These are little speakers with a rich and full sound. I move them from a different room than where the receiver is located. They are not heavy. They also have a nice look and go well with my furniture. I have 4 of them but usually only use two at a time. Overall, for the price they're a good value.
Pros: Lightweight, full sound and attractive.
I purchased these to complete my all Polk 7.1 system. I was apprehensive and nervous to replace my critically acclaimed Aperion Audio Intimus left and right speakers with a more expensive pair of speakers. I'm amazed! I always struggled with the soundstage with my Aperion speakers. I blamed it on my room or equipment. Now I can place individual instruments on the orchestra stage. The stage feels like it is deep and wider than my room. The bass extension is deep on their own without my Polk subwoofer. Male and female opera voices give my goosebumps. I hear sound bouncing around the chamber walls, yet I'm in a heavily damped listening room. How is this possible? What have I been missing?
Pros: Broad wide soundstage. Fantastic voice articulation. Deep bass extension.
Cons: None thus far.
Had a "classic" receiver, but the speakers had died long ago. My teenage daughter got her first vinyl and we were trying to get new to mix with old. These speakers are AMAZING - crisp, clear, incredible tone. I would not have been confident in hooking these beautiful new speakers to my old system, but I uploaded a photo and made a call, all the service guys are great. I am a loyal fan now.
Pros: EVERYTHING - the product, shopping experience, shipping, and packing.
Cons: ZIP, NADA
Bought these speakers after reading many positive reviews. Needed some speakers to listen to my old vinyl. Wow - what a great sound. I can't believe how great these old records sound
Pros: Perfect size. Attractive enclosure.
It is what I expected
Pros: See above
I replaced the speakers on my stereo components that were 30 years old. These Polk speakers really do a fine job on my music discs ranging in style from pops to dixieland jazz to some classicals to big bands etc. I also added the Polk subwoofer PSW 108 which really gives me new pleasure in listening to these discs.
Great speakers, specialty sound, gud tiems
Pros: Beautiful cherry wood
Super sound & great value :)
Pros: Great speaker / sound. Have to spend twice as much to get more sound. Great sound & value.
Replaced Bose cube speakers for my front surrounds. Couldn't believe the difference. These sound clear. Look amazing. I use them to also listen to my music through them. I can turn them up and they sound great.
Pros: Nice size
Excellent and crisp sound that involve my livinroom.
Awesome Bookshelf speaker...awesome sound....
Pros: Big punch in a small Bookshelf speaker....you will not be disappointed...
I bought these speakers as my second choice, originally I had purchased a pair of Polk TSi400s but once I set them up in my living room they were a little too big & a little more obvious in the room that we were hoping for so after talking with my adviser, I ordered a pair of TSi200s. Ironically these were my advisor's first suggestion & it turns out that I should have listened to her in the first place it seems. The TSI200s are a nice sized bookshelf speaker that hold their own even when on the floor. Perhaps if you mount them on stands or a bookshelf you may get a little bit more clarity but for my installation they perform very well. Since they have a rearward facing port I have them about a foot away from the wall to let the bass breathe & have no complaints. While I have considered a subwoofer I don't think its necessary. The bass & midrange are very clear & well defined, not at all muddy; the highs are crisp & sharp without being harsh. In all a very well balanced sound; these speakers perform well with everything I've thrown at them, from classical to rock. The two driver & one tweeter set up really does a great job, yes the TSi400s perform better but given these are less than half the size and are far less conspicuous and the difference is very subtle these were a great choice. I ordered the black which are sharp but I think the cherry are even nicer looking, they were out of stock when I placed my order or I would have definitely ordered the cherry instead
Pros: Convenient size Excellent sound characteristics Clear range Quality fit and finish
I got these to give me a 9.2 home theater setup and could not be any happier! Matched with my amp, they can handle a lot of power. Thanks again Crutchfield for this great product!
Pros: Sound Great!
I really like these speakers. Great sound for a book shelf speaker. I have been very suprised at the sound of these speakers.
Installed as FR and FL for 5.1 surround in basement / play room. Big sound, very clear and broad across the spectrum - even at high volume, the sound is sharp. Solid advice from Crutchfield.
I purchased these pair of Polk TSi 200s to go in the store we are opening up, and as soon as I heard them I wanted to get a pair for the house. I have them hooked up to a Yamaha RX-V375 Receiver, and they sound awesome. Fast shipping and great price from Crutchfield as always!
I only have about 30 hours burned in on these, but so far they are sounding pretty nice for Bookshelf speakers. A bit on the bright side, but I expected that. Adding a sub will make a big difference. For a smaller space, these speakers are great. I am quite happy with them.
Pros: Good value. Bigger sound then you might expect.
Cons: Not really a con, but you'll want to have a good sub to go with these.
Nice looking and great sound quality in a small cabinet. A great value and sound
bought these in 2010 to use with a onkyo tx nr 808 at 135watts x2 sounded great..but i paired them with a yamaha as 500 no bass ..these speakers definitely sound best with more power even 85 watts is not enough i am also using 2 powered subs with the yamaha as 500 still lacking bass up front so if u are looking for bass buy somthing else..all the reviews rate 5 stars i just dont see it in these speakers they are 89db need lots of power seems like all polk speakers lack in power
Pros: the tweeters give warm sound
Cons: power hungry ..still no bass
These came in two days, they are quality and they look great. Black top is very nice . sound is clear and clean.
Pros: Look great sound great ,they can play at a high level with no problems
Excellent overall speaker, well built, good looking (Cherry finish), outstanding reproduction and clarity through out the entire listening range, with the exception of the very bottom end - just remember its a book shelf speaker - but mated with the PSW110 subwoofer to cover the bottom 200 Hz, they performs wonderfully. In comparison they stand pretty tall next to my classic ADS L980's
Pros: Great speaker, well built (Excellent Terminals), Good looking , and a Fantastic Crutchfield price and delivery - with a free subwoofer to boot (Thanx Dolly)
Cons: A little lacking in the low Hz- not enough to lose a star
Great speakers for a small location. I used these in a studio apartment with high ceilings and get great sound. I have them set up to play my vinyl record collection and they bring out the music the way it should be heard. Great sound at a great price. Crutchfield delivered these to my door super fast. I ordered them one morning and was listening to the speakers the next night. Thanks
Pros: great tone and sound
Cons: if you like a heavy driving bass you need a good subwoofer
love them they will go good with my new jamha 1020 vantage.souns great..with my klipsh spickers .
Well built, excellent quality. Outstanding range and clarity. Great bang for the buck!
Pros: High quality for not a lot of $$
Excellant spearkers , clear tones ,Very happy , fast delivery
Pros: Clear and crisp tones . Highly recomend .
Bright clear sound. Will be adding a subwoofer.
Pros: clarity in sound definition
Cons: needs a little support on the low end
I love these speakers. I am not a audio snob, but I just know what I like. These speakers do the job for me at a reasonable price and that is the combination that suits me just right.
Excellant looks and a fantastic sound. You wont go wrong with purchasing these.....Buy them.
If your looking for a great pair of bookshelf speakers look no further. Once you get them thru the "Burn in" period the imaging qualities & the overall sound quality really comes together. If you really have the need for added bass you'll have to add a sub, but with a decent equalizer & amp pushing these speakers you will be amazed what they'll do if you've never heard them before. I've been an "audioholic" for years & have had a lot of different brands of speakers & equipment including Old Polk's that I just can't get rid of & Polk stands true to the statement of designing resonably priced speakers that sound great & this pair of speakers is just another example of how true they are to their word. Crutchfield's customer service is very professional.
Pros: You put on a well recored piece of music & sit back & close your eyes & you will think your listening to a pair of floorstanding speakers.
We bought these because they had such great reviews, both from buyers and in magazines. We're very pleased. We use just these in a 2 channel set up (no "surround sound" or sub) with a Yamaha RX-V475 receiver and they sound fantastic. The sound fills our medium-sized den, and they sound pretty good from other rooms too. We went to stores and listened to some B&W bookshelves that cost three times as much. I won't say the Polks sound better (it's difficult to tell because we listened in such different settings) but they're in the same league. We also use these speakers for movies. Again, they're fantastic. Customer service at Crutchfield is also excellent. They were very helpful when we were settting everything up.
Pros: Great sound, low price, a good looking speaker.
Cons: These speakers are a bit larger than most bookshelves. (Not a problem for us).
I bought a pair of TSi-200s to replace my TSi-100s surround speakers in my 5.1 Polk Audio Set-up that includes 2 TSi-500s as my main speakers. Eventually I will hook up the TSi-100s to complete a 7.1 set-up. As surrounds, they gave me a fuller, lower end sound. They can handle explosions, gunfire, spaceship rumble, helicopters, with no difficulty. But what I love the most is the clarity of the upper end of all these Polk speakers. Vocals and voices sound as smooth as silk no matter how loud you crank your system, even at the THX Reference level. As your main front speakers, they give you a super wide sound field, even on older stereo cd recordings. If you do use them as your main speakers, however, I do recommend a sub-woofer to get a complete sound. Oh, and in addition, they look amazing in the cherry wood veneer.
Pros: Excellent quality. They sound amazing and look like fine furniture. I got them on sale since they are being replaced by another series.
These speakers are great midrange to high sound. I combined an Infinity 8" subwoofer with them. The subwoofer, if adjusted properly with your receiver, really kicks the bass up. I use the speakers for stereo sound as opposed to surround sound. I love the total package and you buy it from Crutchfields for a total of $550, which is a bargain for a complete stereo speaker setup. More sound than I can use due to apartment neighbors, so I added a wireless Sony headset. Again, great sound.
Pros: Nice speaker enclosures, which look very good. Two 51/2 inch speakers plus the tweeter, throw out all the sound you'll need for small to large rooms. I like to listen at high volumes and this setup puts it out.
I expected these speakers to be good by reviews but then I tried them when I got them and I was shocked between these units and the Polk Cs20 Center Channel I got - Wow!!! The richness and full body of the sound is incredible, you would have thought I had Full Standing Speakers that cost much more if you didn't see them. Nice Weight to the speakers gives them the beautiful full sound. These things are incredible...buy them you won't Regret!
Pros: - Very Full Sound - Can Handle ample Power - Nice Cabinets with good weight and strong design - Will shock you how wonderful they sound!!
Cons: - None I can find.
excellent speaker for the money. I'm using them for surround sound speakers but for a bookshelf speaker in an audio system they also sound great!
Pros: alot of sound for the price, fit in alot of places, attractive cabinet finish. great value for the money
Great home audio speakers ....
AWSOME FULLNESS IN DETAIL
I purchased the TS1200's for use as "mid range" speakers in a five channel digital organ hookup; their solid construction and low distortion power handling capacity are both very good. The TS1200's feature a characteristic high end emphasis that is just what I wanted to help define the timber of the reed and string stops of the organ. However, other uses, such as in some home "hi-fi" or home theater systems, would require a good set of audio controls in order to integrate their sonic profile into the over-all sound of the existing set up.
Pros: Price/utility ratio; construction; power handling; low distortion.
Cons: High end emphasis could cause problems in some applications.
Replacing old JBL LX44's. Currently using as front speakers for home theater system. Will probably upgrade fronts to TSI400's and use these as rear speakers. Blend well with the CS10 center channel. Great sound and great price.
Pros: Cherry finish. Great sound.
The best pair for the money with excellent sound I love the bass I get with my woofer
Pros: I have nothing bad to say about the pair of speakers
Cons: I would recomend other friends purchase them
I bought these to go with Polk center, woofer and rear surround speakers and they work perfectly together. I initially thought that they sounded somewhat nasal but after balancing and adjusting the sound output from my Yamaha AVR the sound from the speakers was superior to old PSB speakers that I had been using.
Pros: full sound
Cons: shiny finish shows dust
great sound from a small box. i was looking to fill a large area with backgroud music and these speakers did the trick.
I purchased these and amazed how loud they are. They sound amazing and are worth every penny.
Cons: Size is pretty big but sound coming out of these speakers are well worth it
I din't spend hugh money on these speakers, but I got a lot for the money. I drive them with a 30 watts per channel stereo boom box and it came alive. I use them for music and TV/Movies. It's not a perfect home theater but it beats the TV speakers they replaced. Polks give a more natural sound than I've been able to find in many others costing way more money. For sensitive ears like mine there are faint nuances in songs or movie sounds I pick up from these that others fumble. Polk speakers tend to have a deeper, cleaner bass than many others, especially those using larger woofers. There's none better than Polk for the money. Very clean sound. Truly a superior product.
Pros: They don't cost a bundle or take over a small room. Work really well on speaker stands 16 inches or a bit higher. They're visually attractive and should fit in almost anywhere.
Cons: The only drawback is that the bass reflex ports face the rear, so some spacing out from the wall is required for best bass sound. That's the only reason I don't give these a perfect 5 star rating.
These speakers play awesome!! They are being used as a set of back tower speakers and keep up with my Cerwin Vega Front tower speakers with 1 1/2 tweeter 5 1/4 mid and a twelve on each Vega. I have a Definitive Technology pro-sub 1000 for deeper base and a BIC Acoustic PL-28 for center. Regarding the Polks; with the SIlk tweeter My highs are as clean as all the base in the room!! They Handle 150 watts and are 8 ohms. My system is finally complete and I am very satisfied!!
Pros: Great Product vs. Price. Extremely good quality would recommend to any one. Have received allot of compliment on both sound and craftsmanship. Can also be used for main speakers!!
Cons: Even though They came with a free 5 yr. labor/parts warranty I really do not expect to be using it!!!
The Sound comes ouy crystal clear. This is the best speakers to compliment the CSI 300, the center channel CS20 and the Polk PS 120 Subwoofer. Be careful with the sound or you will have your neighbors complaining because these speakers really sound great. You will be be in the middle of the action when you connect the speakers to your home theater.
Pros: The speaker system soun great.
Cons: None so far
The speakers didn't have the clarity I expected, bought these to replace my 25 year old M-10's.
Love these speakers!! Original orderd 200 model and they were physically too big. Crutchfield was a big help and made the exchange easy!! 5 stars!! These speakers sound great. Will definately by Polk products again. You wont be sorry....
Pros: Sound, size, quality
Cons: did not come in white
Very nice finish, nice sound, good bass, I use it in my bedroom with excellent sound. but........ I still preferred Klipsch. Of course you need to pay more.
The Polk Audio TSi200 Bookcase speakers (I bought 4 for a 7.1 surround sound system) are sweet! Much bigger that I had anticipated but they put out the sound with the help of my new Onkyo TXNR609 receiver. The speakers were easy to set up, option of bare wire or banana plug. Not that it is a problem, the size of the speaker does not lend itself for standard speaker stands, these are meant to be on a heavy duty speaker stand or shelf. I cranked up the sound and for our first party in the "cave" my friends were impressed!!! Great speakers for the price.
Pros: Great for the price.
Cons: No Cons.
I'm very happy with these speakers because of the versatility. I'm running a 2 channel system through my tuner. I listen to different genres of music on LP, CD, and cable music channels; the radio; movies; and regular TV through these speakers and everything sounds really good. These speakers take a little getting used to--the bass is surprisingly good and I'm amazed at some of the sounds it picks up I never noticed before. I'm not exactly an audiophile, but appreciate good sound. For the price and my application, these are a perfect match.
These bookshelf speakers pack a big punch! I am using these as my front speakers with other Polk speakers in my 3-D home theatre system and they sound terrific! Not too much bass from these individual speakers but not needed since I am also using a Polk subwoofer. My surround sound system sounds wonderful. Great value for the money, IMO!
Purchased the Polk TSI 200's as surround speakers matched with TSI 400 mains, a CS20 center channel and PSW 125 sub. The TSI 200's sound great. Good crisp highs and good midrange. They are a bit large. Will have to put on stands, but happy with my purchase.
I waited a couple months after ordering these bookshelfs to make sure this review is accurate (because who doesn't love new products they just bought). I still give them a 5 out of 5. I'm a stereo guy, and I do not have a powered subwoofer in my system. These speakers are warm in the mids, plenty hot up in the highs, and can provide bass for most music genres. If you want to sound like the guy next to you at a stoplight, with the whole car rattling, you need a powered sub. But these can make you grandmothers pacemaker skip a beat here and there if you crank them up, and the clarity at a high level is just as good or better than at a low level. Additionally, these can really fill up a room with sound, the dual 5 1/4" woofers are great. In summary, if you listen to music at less than full volume, or you are over the age of 25, these speakers are incredible! Feed em a clean source and you will be MORE than satisfied, impressed by their quality.
I updated my home audio with a pair of TSi200's a CS20 center channel, and a Polk Audio PSW111. Togethor they sound terrific. I have a small sized living room and these deliver plenty of clear vibrant sound that could fill a much larger room. I would recommend these to anyone. The only thing I would say is pay attention to the speaker dimensions as they are larger then I had anticipated.
I just bought a pair of these for my father. I helped him set them up and then sat down to listen to them. I was overwhelmed with how well these speakers sounded. I had a hard time imagining a speaker for a similar price sounding any better than these. They really are a tremendous buy at this price.
Purchased these bookshelf speakers due to my wife being tired of my old 3.5ft speakers. The sound is fabulous; requires very low power to drive. Great buy for the money.
I have to say that there is nothing out there that can out perform this speaker in its price range. If you are a base junky like me than you will need a subwoofer but the speaker can hold its own without one, just do not place it too close to the wall it will take away from the bass that it can produce. I am not an audio file but I know when good sound is being produced and this speaker can produce some nice imaging. Almost bought some B&W speakers for triple the price and I did not hear such a huge advantage over these TSI's.
The TSi200's have been wonderful front speakers for my new surround sound system. The sound is crisp and crystal clear when watching BluRay's and they have handled both high and low volumes without a problem. I have only pushed them to about 50% of the power of my Denon 1910 but they sound like they would go to the top end of the receivers power without a problem. The sound of stereo music from my ipod is very concise and clarity is superb, while my Polk subwoofer picks up the bass making for listening pleasure. The cherry finish with piano black top is beautiful and has a rich look. The only thing missing from these speakers is Bi-amping capability. This is the only reason that I did not give them 5 stars. I highly recommend these speakers for value, aestetics and performance.
No doubt these are one of the best pair of speakers you can set on a bookshelf! These things rock! Pure clean sound! worth every penny!

Dynamic Balance: Dynamic Balance is a proprietary Polk Audio technology using laser imaging to determine what combination of speaker materials create the least amount of resonance. Eliminating resonance in speakers results in a wide, smooth response and low distortion.
Klippel Optimized: Using a state-of-the-art Klippel Distortion Analyzer, Polk engineers were able to optimize the speaker structure and cabinet design for the best possible performance, even at extreme listening levels.
High Efficiency Design: Compatible with practically any AV receiver, these speakers produce sound that is open, spacious and clear, even when driven by modestly-powered amplifiers and receivers.
Bi-Laminate Composite Woofers: Each speaker features two 5.25" bi-laminate composite dynamic balance drivers which are light and stiff for deep bass response and low distortion. For high performance durability, each woofer uses a butyl rubber surround.
Silk dome Tweeters: Each speaker features a 1.0" silk dome dynamic balance tweeter for detailed highs. Each tweeter features Mylar bypass capacitors in the crossovers to extend high frequency response and improve detail and transparency.
Frequency Response: The overall frequency response is 43Hz-25kHz and the -3dB frequency response is 50-24kHz.
Quality Built Cabinets: The TSi speaker cabinets are extensively braced MDF with ¾" thick baffles. With pewter accents, a piano black top plate and removable black grille, TSi speakers look awesome and take up less than one square foot. All models are available in a choice of black or cherry wood-grain vinyl finishes.
Narrow Baffle Geometry: Narrow baffle geometry is a design that creates a sleek looking speaker with great sound. First the high quality cabinet is slender and tucks away easily in your room. The smaller-diameter speaker components are lighter in mass, translating to clearer sound.
Flared Ports: All TSi speakers feature critically-tuned flared ports. Flared ports minimize port noise ("chuffing") and ensure good low frequency extension with low distortion. With flared ports, TSi speakers reveal realistic, natural, full-bodied sound with rich bass. These TSi bookshelf speakers feature a rear-firing port.
5-Way Binding Posts: Each speaker has a set of gold-plated 5-way binding posts.
Placement: Create an equilateral triangle between the speaker and the listening position. If you notice video distortion or discoloration, immediately move the speaker away from the video source.
Rubber Feet: Each speaker comes with four self-adhesive rubber feet so they will sit securely on your speaker stands or shelf.

store advice [ Anthony Jul 01, 2016 ]
I wanted a floor speaker originally, but the ones I wanted were sold out. I'm glad I got these. They wound up fitting perfectly on the TV stand on either side of the TV. Bass response is only slightly worse than the floor speakers I had been looking at but that doesn't even matter when you've got a subwoofer. I like these speakers. [ Michael May 17, 2016 ]
i Have them standing up but i don't see why they wouldn't work laying on their sides [ Bruce Dec 28, 2015 ]
Yes, you can place these on their side, would likely work well on a bookshelf. Keep in mind that for best sound they need some space behind them for the rear port. [ Paul Dec 27, 2015 ]
absolutely yes [ Gabriel Dec 27, 2015 ]
No problem these speakers are great !,,, [ RICHARD S Dec 26, 2015 ]
Yes, I actually have mine laying on their side on shelves that are mounted on the wall. These speakers sound great! [ RICHARD S. Dec 26, 2015 ]
NO they are better as surrounds .only if u are using .a small home theater set up ,u may use them as mains. [ nathaniel Dec 22, 2015 ]
THey would b better as rear set however if your room is not to large they would work fine. They can't b by amped [ darryl Dec 17, 2015 ]
Yes sounds great for my family using them as left and right front also using sub woofer [ ROSS Dec 17, 2015 ]
Yes, absolutely. I used them with a 7.1 sound system in my TV/theater room. They create a big sound with excellent quality, yet are small enough to place on a shelf. They are a good by for a reasonable cost. [ Dorwin Dec 17, 2015 ]
Mike- I bought 3 pairs of these Polk Audio speakers to bring sound to our microbrewery production room and tasting room. Roughly 2750 squ. feet of open space. I checked the specs to see that they have an 89db efficiency and have a good frequency handling range. We are using them with a Polk Audio powered sub to reproduce low and mid-low frequencies better. We will power them with an amp that can give us a main and aux zone control and the amp is rated to 150W per channel They are described as bookshelf speakers, but checking speaker dimensions, are fairly large. I would recommend an above average viewing room for these speakers. My caution is to ignore placement instructions that advise hanging speakers like you might a picture frame, that is, flush with the wall. I believe that a ported speaker, as these are, require a bit of clearance to the wall to allow best utilization of the port. Whether you purchase this model speaker or not, you can't find a better sounding speaker for your money than Polk Audio. [ Greg Dec 17, 2015 ]
They will. But if you want earth shaking rumbling sound effects from your movies, you may need a subwoofer in addition. I have these as mains in a 13x16 room and they are great. I hear details I've never heard in my music before. [ Joshua Dec 17, 2015 ]
Yes, these speakers are wonderful as main speakers for left and right. Music, voice, and movie soundtracks are clear and uncolored, with very good presence. A pleasure to listen to. I recently bought a second pair to use in another room. You can also find many glowing reviews on-line with a search such as "polk audio tsi200 bookshelf speakers review". [ Bill Dec 16, 2015 ]
i am using them in my shop . I am very satisfied with polk speakers [ herb Dec 16, 2015 ]
They work great as my main front L and R speakers. I also use the TSi100s for the rears, a little overkill though. Will depend on the size of the room. The room I am using these in is maybe a 20x25 space. These will work in a bigger room and probably sound better than they do in my small living room. [ Christopher Dec 16, 2015 ]
Yes, that is how I used them. [ RYAN Dec 16, 2015 ]
They work great - big clear sound, fills up the room. Both the music and movie sounds are rich. I recommend. [ Edward Dec 16, 2015 ]
They should be more than enough. Can,t go wrong especially with Polk. [ GERARD J Jun 28, 2016 ]
I am using these af Front left and Right speakers in a room that is 15 by 23 with 8 foot ceillings. I also have the cs10 center channel and the psw10 powered subwoofer. The floor is carpeted and I have typical furniture, couch, loveseat and a couple recliners. The AV receiver is an Onkyo TX SR333. The sound is frich an full and for me anyway with this combination of spearkers is more than enough to handle what I want. The primary usage is for movies and tv. I also have played music through this setup. I do not play the system at wall shaking levels. I have had this setup for about eight months now and I am very satisfied with the performance. I use these speakers in a 18x24 living room. Great sound. [ Kevin Jun 28, 2016 ]
My home theatre is in a similarly-sized room, about 15x8, with 8' ceiling. I only have two of these speakers, so it's only playing stereo, not surround. But I'm very pleased with it. [ Matthew Jun 28, 2016 ]
I had these as my right and left channel speakers sitting next to the tv, a center channel, and two tsi100s as surrounds plus a couple subs. The room was roughly 20 x 15 with 8 foot ceilings, not including the dining room and kitchen area. I received numerous compliments on movie nights and parties as to how loud and clear my set up was, everything is Polk in my house and I would highly recommend them. [ Ramey Jun 28, 2016 ]
I use the TSi200s in a small room about 10x10. They sound great, really fill the room. Frankly, they would work in a much larger space. They have great high and mid range and their bass range is still very good. [ Vincent Jun 28, 2016 ]
I purchased them for our breakfast room/kitchen and have been pleased [ JOSEPH K Jun 28, 2016 ]
I have these speakers in our home office,15 x 16 and they are more than sufficient. They definitely would work well in your smaller room. [ David Jun 27, 2016 ]
These are full range speakers and for the size they develop good base, and have a very bright mid and high end. I am currently using them for two channel sound with a 30 year old NAD 7175 PE receiver, only listening to music. [ RICKY Feb 17, 2014 ]

I have them working well in a 7.1 surround system, balancing the Bass is at times difficult, but I suspect this is far more due to the nature of the audio mixing on some discs and certainly not the speaker. [ MERLYN Feb 14, 2014 ]
