Overview

Our take on the Infinity Reference 6032si

Rely on Infinity to revitalize the sound in your car. Replace your tired-out, old factory speakers with Reference Series full-range speakers that'll play your music louder and better.

Rely on Infinity to revitalize the sound in your car. Replace your tired-out, old factory speakers with Reference Series full-range speakers that'll play your music louder and better.

Infinity Reference 6032si 6-3/4" speakers feature a Plus One+ woofer design that maximizes cone surface area so you enjoy richer, deeper lows. Large textile dome tweeters project smooth, clean highs, and they're equipped with a level control so you can fine-tune the degree of brightness to match your taste. Large voice coils in the edge-driven textile dome tweeters allow for high power-handling. Grilles are not included — factory grilles are appropriate for most installations, but optional grilles are available.

Infinity makes sure that your installation stays stress-free by including Intermount III, a proprietary mounting system that allows you to install these 6-3/4" speakers in a variety of 6" to 6-3/4" factory locations. And since these speakers sport a special shallow profile design, they'll fit many popular vehicles.

Note: Infinity describes this model as a 6-1/2" speaker. Most manufacturers designate this same frame size as a 6-3/4" speaker. For simplicity's sake we list it as a 6-3/4" speaker.

Important Note: These Infinity Reference speakers use a low impedance design to pull more power safely from your car stereo or amplifier. This design is compatible with virtually all factory and aftermarket stereos.

Installation Note: These Infinity speakers do not include screws or speed clips. You may be able to use the factory screws to install them, but it's always a good idea to have an assortment of self-tapping screws (5/8" to 1") and speed-clips on hand.

These sound great, installed easy, what more could you ask for. You get what you pay for, will never buy cheap speakers again after hearing the difference in sound quality...

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I have always bought Infinity speakers. I am totally disappointed by this product. These speakers should not have been sold by Crutchfield or carried the name Infinity. The looks are deceiving, they sound horrible. If there was a way to not give a star this would be the time. Fortunately I spoke to Brice, a Crutchfield representative. He was more than helpful and recommended Kickers. I returned the Infinity speakers and my Kickers kick it! I will not buy Infinity speakers again. By the way, I install sound systems and not just a regular buyer.

Pros: Good Looks.

Cons: They sound horrible. My 1998 Honda Accord factory speakers sound 1000% better. That is One Thousand percent.

Sound good with stock head unit. Much better than stockers. Rear doors direct replacement, factory screws etc. Front doors easy 4 self tapping screws into inner door structure. With wiring harness adaptors it takes longer to remove door panels than installing speakers.

Pros: Good sound, room for future head unit upgrade, easy fit.

Cons: none

Good speakers for the on sale price but not as spectacular as I expected compared to a previous set of Infinitys on my previous truck. Has good mids and high but have ZERO bass so word to the wise better get some subs. Also was a tad disappointed that it didnt come with the screws to mount to the speaker mounting brackets. But over all a good upgrade to stock speakers .

Pros: good mids and highs price quality

Cons: did not come with screws to mount to speaker brackets zero bass

For the price the mids and highs are extremely clear. If you enjoy some bass and do not plan on getting a sub these are not for you. However, I have these in all four doors of my truck with 1 10inch JL under my seat and it sounds great!

Pros: Crystal clear highs for all type of music

Cons: No bass

All I can say is that Harmon products are simply one of the best. Infinity (made by Harmon International) delivers the goods. I installed these and instantly noticed a difference in clarity and sound quality. I've been told great things about Infinity by a few friends. I wasn't let down. I'd definitely order a component system for the rest of my car from Infinity over the Polk Audio I was going to buy. All in all, great sound and great product.

Pros: Clear and full sound.

Cons: None that I could notice

When the Crutchfield tech suggested I replace the speakers as well as the head unit, I was skeptical. I figured speakers are not a big deal. Since I got the parts on a weekday, I installed the head unit after work one night and waited until the weekend to put in the speakers. The head unit sounded awesome all by itself, but once the speakers were in I was stunned! The sound was very noticeable.

Pros: Perfect fit, clear clean sound

Cons: No grill covers. My install already had them so I didn't need them.

Very nice speakers. Installation was not easy, old holes, and new speakers, needed to get different sizes of screws to make it work. The harness was well made and make the wiring easy. My door panels didn't want to come off, lots of clips and screws.

Pros: Sound quality, adjustable tweeter, high quality.

Cons: Weak bass, needs to be sent with different hardware.

These are replacement speakers for my '06 Mitsubishi Eclipse. The stock system was Rockford-Fosgate with the subwoofer. These speakers have excellent mid to high-end sound. However, they are weak in the bass. But my subwoofer more than makes up for the difference. This is an excellent speaker when used with a sub to fill in the missing bass and is efficient at that. I don't have to crank these to get full appreciation of the sound.

Pros: great sound at mid-to-high end

Cons: not so great bass

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought these speakers based on the the reccommendation of one of the sales rep. I told the sales rep. I need a pr of speakers for playing hip hop and asked for some speakers with a good bass response. And referred me the Infinity's, and assured me there is some bass to the infiinity's which he reccommended. When I received the speakers I hooked the Infinity's with the Pioneer FH-X700BT CD receiver ( Great Unit by the way) and when I played some hip hop and different genre of music and there was a Serious Big Disappointment with the Infinity's...NO BASS at all. Even after tweaking all of the sound parimeters and even playing Heavy Bass music....still NO BASS... not even a single note!!! Ended up returning the speakers for a refund but had to pay for the $10 return shipping fee!! One disappointment after another!!! After placing the original speakers back onto the front door paired with the Pioneer FH X700BT the original speakers and the Pioneer sounded GREAT!!!! Good bass respones and highs especially with heavy bass music and hip hop!!! The Pioneer FH-X700BT and the Clarion CX501 are outstanding units I have bought both of these units and installed them on my nephews and sons car.

Pros: Good highs but because these speakers have no BASS RESPONSE these speakers are really not good by itself. These speakers definintly needs a good sub-woofer to balance the music out!!! Based on how these playing through a good unit!!!

Cons: NO BASS REPONSE!!! Not even a single note or a Wimpering Thud!! Need to drill holes and buy mounting hardware through Crutchfield to install speakers.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These are a very nice upgrade from stock speakers. I now look forward to my commute to and from work, because I can really enjoy listening to my music. The high and mids are very clear. The additional 3dbs on the tweeters really help with the imaging effects of the highs. I only have 2 pairs of these speakers, but they sound like as if I have component speakers. The install was fairly easy and straight forward. I have one in each door. First, I tested the sound with only one pair in the front doors. I was impressed right away. But once I got the back doors speakers in, wow, that's when the imaging really became noticeable.

Pros: Quality construction, good highs and mids, decent mid-bass, mounting depth.

Cons: Lacking bass. Not very punchy. Low on bass frequency response.

Ignore the negative comments. As long as you are driving these speakers with quality electronics they sounds great. Clearest speakers available in its price range. .... Having said that, these are 6 3/4" drivers so don't expect the deepest bass. That's what subs are for.

Pros: Great detail for the price. Approaching the clarity of some separates. Good tight mid-bass to pair nicely with any subwoofer setup.

Cons: None so far.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These speakers were a nice upgrade from the factory speakers on the 2000 Toyota Corolla I just bought. The bass response, as has been noted by previous reviewers, is pathetic, right in line with the factory speakers. Don't expect any more bass out of these speakers! The "upgrade" is in the highs, which are smooth and clear without any harshness. Very musical, even with the "+3dB" switch turned on. I'm currently running off of the original equipment Toyota headunit, but have a 75-watt RMS 4-channel amp on the way to mate up to these Infinity speakers. I hope to solidify the mid-range and mid-bass control with more power. An Infinity BassLink should round out the system...

Pros: Highs and mids - clear, smooth and pleasing

Cons: Pathetic low-end response.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Infinity supplies the speakers and mounting brackets to mount to many applications. But they don't include the screws to mount the speakers to the brackets? Way to cut corners. I now have more time and money invested in screws that won't work than what it is worth. Totally frustrated now, I am sending mine back. Started reading some reviews and found out they just don't supply the screws to cut costs I guess. Also, found that the bass is horrible so I plugged it in to test since I can't mount it in and yes, nothing for bass. To me, I've heard better sounding speakers for 35 dollars.

Pros: Crutchfield shipping and customer service trying to make it work for me.

Cons: Infinity as a company going downhill.

A World Of Difference!!!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

What a great sounding speaker. Infinity really dialed in the crisp highs and midranges. Bass is adequate, but if you really want the low thump you have to add a small powered sub. I installed two sets of these speakers into a 2007 Hyundai Tucson that had the upgraded system with the sub. The factory door speakers were a joke all plastic with paper cone and no more than a 1/4 oz magnet. Install was very easy with Crutchfield supplied harness adapter and mounting rings. Now the next project is a new head unit and a new powered sub.

Pros: Crisp Highs, Excellent Midranges, Very clean sound

Cons: None at this time.

I used these to replace the factory Infinity speakers in my 2001 Durango. The speakers have great clarity in the mid-to-high range, but turn up to bass and it sounds like someone hitting a cardboard box. 2013 Toyota RAV4: Straight and to the point..... These speakers sound great with nice highs/mids with moderate bass reproduction but... They have the horrific bass "thud" when playing music with deep bass notes at moderate volume. It sounds like the speakers are going to blow up....all is fine until the next deep bass note. I can not honestly recommend these speakers to anyone due to this issue.

They sound alright as far as mids and highs. I can crank my JVC head unit up to 50 and no distortion at all, but with songs with heavy bass these speakers fall flat on their face. They let out a horrific crackle almost as if they are about to blow. Mounting was sort of a pain. I had to modify the brackets that came with the speaker to fit into my truck. Along with after I had all door panels off my truck and speakers out I realized there were no screws supplied so it was down to the local shop to buy some self tapers. If your looking for a speaker with clarity at mid to high volumes these are it especially for the price, but if your looking for even moderate bass these aren't the speakers for you.

Pros: Clarity at mid to high volumes

Cons: no bass and sounded like they're going to blow when listening to songs with heavy bass notes

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These speakers mount up easily with the supplied adapters, to your Jeep Wrangler. The sound, is where they really shine. The added tweeters provide quite a bit more sound material than your factory speakers, leaving you with a fuller listening area. I especially like that the tweeters had an adjustment switch to boost the highs by 3db. This is perfect for locations such as the front of the Jeep where the speakers face slightly downward at your knees. Flip the switch to "+3db" and you will hear the highs from your knee level speakers.

Pros: Quality Build, tweeter adjustment.

2013 Honda Insight
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

A remark: Since you're getting and using the mounting adapters CRUTCHFIELD sends, you can absolutely ignore the instructions from Infinity that come with the speakers, they will only confuse and waste your time. Follow the Crutchfield instructions. Installation in straight-forward on my Honda Insight, EXCEPT, a portion of the solder were the wiring is attached to the speaker dome was making contact with the metal on the door and this caused a short on all speakers. There was no sound at all in my car until I figured that was the cause. I filed down the solder. Next, I used different screws on the other front door (no screws are included so you have to make-do with what you have). The screws were too long and made contact with the metal on the door, AGAIN, causing a short and killing the sound on all speakers. I eventually figured that one out and cut them down. I USED DYNAMAT on the immediate surroundings of the speaker aperture. Big difference in mid-range and improved BASS. I then went back and took speakers out to install FATMAT wholesale on as much of the door, including the backside of the plastic door panel. HUGE difference. It corrected any of the bad defects you get from bass at high volumes due to the car itself. And AFTER 3 WEEKS these speakers were fully broken -in and sound amazing for the price. Every range and type of rock is perfectly reproduced. Classical music comes alive with tweeters and great bass I WILL ALSO INSTALL THESE ON THE BACK DOORS.

Pros: Price, SOUND, performance, quality, and yes, definite BASS.

Cons: NO MOUNTING SCREWS(!). There is a break -in period until you can fully appreciate full scope and quality of sound.

overall good 6.5s

Written by: Asze from Knoxville TN on April 29, 2013

Great speakers to upgrade almost any factory 6.5 you may currently have. Beautiful sound production with good** but not great bass, very good mids and great highs. Even though the frequency response is noted to be as low as 53hz it struggles to deliver those lower notes but they can still rattle your doors a bit in some cases, Good bang for the buck , but if you want some of the best overall sounds Components are the way to go or Focal coaxials will deliver

Pros: Great mid/high sound production, alright bass

Cons: Struggles to produce low freq. and definitely wont handle much past 50w rms. without bad 'poping' from low frequency notes

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The speakers that was suggested by Rusty were absolutely great and the right choice. I could not believe the difference in sound from the originals to the replacement speakers. The best part was how easy the installation of the new speakers were, it took approximately 15 minutes per speaker to install. The only quirk I had was that there were no screws supplied to hold the speaker in place in the door cradle but that was an easy fix.

Pros: Great sound, easy installation, excellent customer service

These speakers fit perfectly in my '02 Dodge Dakota front doors using the adapter rings that came with the speakers. The supplied wiring adapter worked well. I'm now orwering the same speakers for the rear doors.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I purchased the Infifnti 6032si speakers for my 2004 Dodge Durango. These speakers were recommended to me because I needed slim mount type speakers that were also a 2 ohm type speaker as I wasn't replacing my factory Infifnty stereo system (no relation to the speaker manufacturer). The speakers install was very easy and fit like a glove. I love the way the speakers sound, great clarity and sound seperation. Great high's and Mid's and ok lows. They blow away the original system speakers for sure!

Pros: Sound great, easy to install and blow away the factory OEM speakers. Great and clear Mid's and High's

Cons: A bit lacking on the bass side, but is still better then OEM speakers by far.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I needed shallow mount speakers to replace the stock door speakers in my 2010 Toyota Sienna. These Infinity speakers were recommended along with the mounting bracket. I did not install the speakers myself; as I had other equipment to install as well (a 12" subwoofer in the cavity in the rear driver's side, as well as a 600 W mono amp to power the sub). I'm very pleased with the clarity of these speakers. They're much nicer than the stock ones. They seem to have more output as well (no problems driving them from the stock 6 disc head unit). I'm glad these were recommended to me by the sales adviser!

Pros: Great clarity and efficiency.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I installed these speakers in the front doors of my Honda Civic, after having already installed Infinity Reference X Ref-650's in the rear deck, so I don't know what they would sound like alone. Together they are absolutely fantastic! A HUGE improvement. The speakers in the rear deck are noticeably more substantial, as they are not limited by the shallow mounting requirements in the doors. I had to remove the entire side panel of the front door to install these speakers, which was more of a job than I was expecting, and a little bit daunting. I actually downloaded installation instructions from the internet which was enough to get the job done. (I didn't even see the installation instructions that come with the speakers until I was done.) After doing one door, however, the other was pretty easy. One caution: when inserting the speaker into the cavity, make sure to rotate it to a position where the speaker wire contacts are as far as possible from the metal door panel, as they can short out when the car is moving. (This actually happened to me the first time around. Luckily the radio just stopped working, rather than burning out.) The sound is great, with crystal clear highs.

I was somewhat limited as to what was available to fit the Jeep Wrangler as I preferred to stay with the 6 1/2" size. Sound from the Infinity speakers was very good initially, but improved tremendously after replacing the factory head unit with a JVC. Much improved bass and great mids and lows.

Pros: Great sound with aftermarket head unit.

Cons: Install required some vehicle modification (cutting).

These do NOT function properly as 4-ohm speakers!

Written by: Zooie from Chicagoland on November 21, 2012

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Infinity claims that these speakers work with the resistance of your factory wiring to present a true 4-ohm load, but what they actually did was throw my JVC head unit into a protection mode, as I've now heard they do with many decks. I would view them simply as 2-ohm speakers. Who knows, they might be great with a 2-ohm amp, but don't order them for running off your HU.

Pros: Crutchfield was great about exchanging them and even ate a $15 difference for comparable Polk speakers.

Cons: Why Infinity markets them as they do, I'll never know.

Speakers sound great. Installed two speakers in the doors of a Silverado pickup. Crutchfield provided the correct wire assembly to connect the speakers. The factory tweaters blew, so I did not replace those. This is driven with a Kenwood head unit and these speakers sound excellent. At filrst i ran them with the factory radio that comes with a silverado (not Bose) and these speakers sound better than the factory speakers. After I upgraded the stereo unit, these speakers rock. They have fair bass, but not as much as separarte, big bass drivers, but these are not meant to sound like that and I am not a fan of the large sub woofers.

Pros: Good spekers for the price

Cons: They don't clip in like the factory. You must drill holes to mount in the doors.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought these with a matching rear set for my '03 Pt Cruiser about a week after replacing the factory radio with an Alpine. I figured I would just upgrade the whole sound system at once. I was extremely disappointed. These have about 1/2 the bass and mid as the factory speakers. They would work perfect if I was wanting to add a sub and amp, as they are extremely clear sounding. However, wanting to stay with factory speaker locations only, they are not the way to go. Not even close to an equal replacement for a baseline 2003 Chrysler sound system ! I had them in less than an hour, took them back out, and put my factory speakers back in.

Pros: Kudos to Crutchfield for beyond easy installation instructions and wiring. Extremely clear sound on upper end of mids and highs.

Cons: If all you want is highs, or add a sub and amp to your car, I give it 8 stars on a 5 star scale. Factory 2003 model baseline sound system speakers out perform these on low end mids and bass.

Overall a decent set of speakers that provide good clarity and great midrange sound. I replaced my factory door speakers with these and they beat them old ones in every way. Except, the crucial bass department. I know these aren't subs but come on my factory cheapies played way lower and louder. These infinitys bottom out so quickly and I am not even pushing them hard at all. The 2 ohm setup was the deciding factor but I nearly returned these. I have to turn my headunit bass down in order for me to enjoy them. Even the install brackets supplied by crutchfield weren't that easy to install. I might even say they don't fit without a little work/modification. My 2003 325i now at least has clean sound until you turn it up a bit.

1989 Honda CRX
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These are not the speakers that are going to undo your need for a subwoofer to complete your speaker package. I was hoping that in the small confines of a 2-seater they would stretch a little lower in the frequency range, but where they're rated is what they can handle - nothing but distortion past that point. They are great examples of exactly what they are advertised to be, just not anything more. You can't fault them for that.

Pros: Obviously there's a great deal of high end capability in these speakers...no question about their ability to reproduce the high notes.

Cons: At first the bottom end was "very" disappointing and the mid range was muddled (twss!), but after giving the speakers a chance to break in, the bass has gotten much more solid and full.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These speakers do not fit the 2004 Toyota Sequoia as Crutchfield advertises they do. We anticipated having to use the installation adapters Crutchfield included with our order but were under the impression that these are designed to actually work. They don't. The screw pattern on the adapter does not line up with the pattern on the door (thereby requiring you to drill holes in the door) but more importantly the screw holes on the speaker themselves overlap the adapter such that there is no way to screw the speakers onto the adapter. Basically the Crutchfield adapter is made to be so generic that it is rendered useless. The much talked about "Crutchfield Mastersheet" was a generic, useless document that only provided directions on how to remove the door panel. A call into Crutchfield support did not yield ANY useful information. All in all a very disappointing experience.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I held off making comments on these speakers until I replaced the stock Infinity radio/CD in my 2001 Dodge Dakota. With that completed... I purchased and installed four. They didn't perform very well with the stock unit. Highs and mids sounded great but the base was lacking and had a wierd tonal quality. When playing at a higher volume and a deep bass note or bass drum beat occurred, it sounded like someone using an oatmeal box as a drum and bass notes just rattled. After the new head unit was installed, the bass response greatly improved but is not great (as it is a small speaker). Signal clipping was probably to blame for for the poor sound with the stock Infinity system. The speakers' high and mid range sound is very good and would probably sound good if the low frequencies were blocked and a sub used to provide the bass element. My son is going to let me borrow his Bazoka sub to test with this set up. Hopefully the overall sound will tune and balance out properly.

Mixed Review

Written by: CRFjockey from Nampa, ID on August 8, 2011

The Good: Purchased these speakers to replace a blown speaker in my Dodge Dakota. The original factory Infinity system sounded great, so I was concerned that I get something that sounded as good. These sound better. I'm pleased with the bass from such small speakers. I'm still using the factory component tweeters and crossovers, so I can't really judge how the high notes sound. This was my first purchase from Crutchfield. The wiring harness and instructions they included were VERY helpful. I'll definately keep buying. The Bad: The tech who helped me warned me that the speakers would come without mounting screws. No problem. The factory screws mounted the brackets just fine. Unfortunately, these speakers also come without any screws to mount the included brackets to the speakers! Stupid! The general speaker mounting instructions from Crutchfield were useful. The instruction sheet that came from Infinity was virtually worthless. The brackets have many sets of mounting holes and no information about which ones to use. Conclusion: I would have gladly given these speakers a five-star rating if they had included all the mounting hardware and some decent instructions. While doing the install, I was intending to give them a three-star rating. I compromised with four- stars.

2003 Toyota Sequoia
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought 2 sets of the 6032si to replace both front and rear door factory speakers in my 2003 Toyota Sequoia. These were definitely an improvement over the OEM, but still remained a bit disappointing. This stems mostly from a deep wish that small speakers would produce large bass. Well, one can always hope right!? Anyhow, they're not and they don't. However, one really needs to expect that. These are shallow mount speakers, so inherently will have a smaller magnet and reduced cone travel which adds up to not very deep bass. I installed them along with a Clarion CX501 radio which drives them plenty loud and without distortion although devoid of the deeper bass most truly want. The answer to this, of course, is a sub. So, if deep bass is your thing, then these alone won't do it for you. If you seek a clean sound louder than your OEMs (as long as you have proper head unit power) then these are a good quality value for that. Crutchfield sent along brackets for my vehicle, but they did not fit the factory screw holes. There was customization necessary and new screw holes to be drilled. Speaking of screws, just like many other reviewers have mentioned, the speakers/bracket combo do not come with enough screws for the install. You will need to trek to the hardware store for more. Overall I am happy with these speakers, but the lack of bass and installation issues I encountered only warrant an average rating from me.

Besides drilling new holes for the plastic adapter plate, I also had to remove one of the three "tabs" on the plate to ensure clearance for the door panel. They sound ok at medium volume but thats it. I would not recommend these speakers for anyone, you can get Polk shallow mount speakers for the same price from Crutchfield and they sound a lot better. I asked for something that was the best, since i only have 2 speakers in my truck. They suggested these. To be honest the original speakers was a lot better. Now trying to find some original Tacoma speakers for sale. The good: The speakers look nice and as though they have some thump. And they have good clarity

The first car i ever owned i bought a couple pairs of SONY speakers, I cant say that i didn't like them, they were a good price for a college student. But now that I am getting older i can spend a little more money on my new truck and was looking to find speakers with a big brand name and excellent reviews. at least this way i know that it will be good and the speakers are of better quality. not to put sony down at all. but those were entry grade speakers, and these infinity's are entry grade as well. and ill tell you this. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED AT ALL. I have had these for over a year now and it has always put a smile on my face. If you are looking for speakers and have a little bit extra money in your budget i highly recommend these speakers.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I must admit after i ordered these to install in a 04 jeep liberty i was afraid that they would not have enough bass after reading all these reviews and after installing them and running them with my standard factory deck and with the optional baffles they had no bass at all, i mean none.So i called the Crutchfield tech support he said to try and remove the baffles because he has seen in the past that some speakers don't do well with baffles.Well i removed the baffles and it made all the difference in the world, the bass was good and the mids and highs were already amazing.I took it one step further and ordered a Kenwood deck, installed it and now the bass response doubled. If you aren't getting much bass just remove the baffles or maybe you just don't have enough space behind the speaker or power to make the proper the bass, but i am not running an amplifier just 22rms and 50max watts each and its just fine in my car.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Having recently purchased and installed a Sony MEXBT3800U head unit, I wanted to get some better speakers. I called the great customer service and spoke with Artie. I told him my budget and he recommended these speakers. Fortunately, I read other reviews before I ordered so I after placing my order, I stopped on the way home from work and got necessary hardware. I had to drill the doors to install the front speakers but I had expected that. When I got to the rear doors, I THOUGHT they were going to be easier. No dice! After removing the old speakers, I thought I could bolt the new ones in the same holes but they didn't line up. So I had to use the supplied mounting brackets and was able to make it work. All in all, the installation wasn't difficult because I was prepared. So take heed, if you are going to order these speakers, expect a slightly challenging installation but it's worth it!! As for the sound, it's far and away better than the factory speakers and I'm still adjusting them.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought the Infinity Reference 6032si for a 2002 Durango and got exactly what I was expecting. Do not expect the si's to have bass, they have a terrific mid and high quality though. I did my research and was already planning to put seperat powered sub for the lows. The reason I am giving them 4 stars is that the adapter plates they came with did not include screws to attach the speaker to the adapter (the 3 screws per speaker hold the adapter in place not the speaker) and the adapers were a little thick on one ear so they required a bit of fileing to make them fit perfectly. All in all a great product and Crutchfield gave great service.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I purchased a pair of these to replace my obviously blown rear Infinity speakers in my 2003 Dodge Durango. They arrived within days of the order placement. The first one took me 2 hours, and a call to the excellent tech support. I had to slightly modify the mounting bracket as the speakers have 4 holes and the bracket had 3 to mount to the door, and no screws were supplied. I selected screws from my personal stock and drilled the plastic mount bracket to accomadate. Although they are round speakers, there is a small decible adjustment switch which artistically should be at 6 oclock position-- unfortunately, the speaker adjustment had to be mounted at 7 oclock, not quite artistic, but perfectly functional. The second speaker took 45 minutes. Both used the included Chrysler wire harness which I would not do the job without. They sounded so well I ordered another pair for the front and a friend asked me if I was using a sub- woofer! They are powered by a factory upgrade, Mopar-Alpine GPS Sirius stereo unit.

These were installed in a 2010 Jeep Wrangler. The only problem was the speakers didn't come with screws I found some and all was well. The driver side was the most difficult the other three took maybe 10 mins. The instructions were great, thanks Crutchfield.

'08 Sonata, rubber insulated outer door panels, batt insulated inner door liners. These speakers are a phenomenal addition. The highs complement the factory in-door tweeters. The lows are clean and deep. These speakers reproduce sound to maximum easy listening (5-6 bars on stereo vol) without need for an amp. Whether it's Linda Ronstadt, AC/DC, or JT, the sound is as good as most any custom intalls! And, with the factory head unit!!!!! You just don't have the mind crushing, ear splitting volume associated with an amped up system.

Excellent 6-1/2" speakers. They work well with factory Infinity system in my Dodge Durango. I was concerned that the high priced 2 ohm factory speakers were the only ones available, but the inexpensive infinity ones I ordered for the rear doors sound great. When the wiring adaptors that came with speakers didn't match the factory wiring, I called Crutchfield and the Tech (Jason) took the time to send me a couple pictures via email, then matched up the correct ones. He send me out the adaptors and they fit perfectly. Now, the only problem I have is the front factory speakers are being outdone by the new Infinity rear ones. I am thinking about buying another pair of infinity speakers for the front doors! Good purchase.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought these speakers two months ago and waited to review them based on how they held up. They were put in a 2010 Civic as a replacement for the factory speakers and run simply off of the existing head unit. Let me first say these speakers are awesome. They have really clear highs and they can be cranked up very loud without any distortion at all. The bass is not booming but don't believe the other reviews because they can put out some decent bass. They are no substitute for a sub, but then again I don't know of any 6.5's that are. If you are looking for quality factory replacement speakers that won't break the bank, this is the way to go. Another note: It took a few days to properly tune and break these speakers in so you may need to have some patience with them.

2007 Sierra SLE2, Extended Cab, Factory Radio (XM + mp3), no bose. Noticed some weeks ago that my front door, passenger side, factory speaker had bought the farm. Called Crutchfield, was recommended these speakers, ordered them, got them 2 days later, had them installed today. In the truck I have, the door speakers are heavy on bass as it is. Thus, some other reviews regarding weakness in the bass of these speakers, though possibly accurate, are somewhat a non-issue in this truck. Windshield shattering bass? Nope. But otherwise excellent sound through and through. If you are looking for a factory speaker replacement of this size, I highly recommend them. AS always, thank you crutchfield for unbiased, level headed, pre-sales advice and excellent service. I am always able to rely on the advice given by your staff.

I bought new Infinity 6 1/2's for the front and back and a Clarion navigation unit for the head unit. When I turned it on, it was one of the clearest stereos I've ever heard. Once I turned it up, however, there was a complete lack of bass. (I listen to country and rock) I called Crutchfield telling them that my bass sounded like someone was on the outside of my vehicle, kicking my door. It was embarrassing. He told me to purchase an amp, so I did. I installed a Kicker 200 Watt 4 Channel amp. Since these speakers are 2 ohm, they will pull twice the power and this amp will be perfect... No cigar. NOT to mention, my left rear doesn't produce any sound from the woofer, just the tweeter. I have had many different configurations in my life; this was hands down the most disappointing.

These speakers are all highs and have a hollow sound, thought maybe polarity was reversed but it did not matter when changed. I bought these in Sept 09 and figured I would give it time, no luck with sound quality. Going to put my factory rear speakers back in until I find a quality replacement. Perhaps its the receiver power or sound bar housing?? To many highs for me even when changing the db setting. Best of luck on your choice.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I put in a weeks worth of research and knew what I was getting myself into installing these. I also knew from installing a quad of 5X7 kappas in '03 not to expect anything on the low end. These do not even touch the highs of the kappas that had a pivoting silk dome tweeter. Any way this install was done on an '04 Tahoe so you can imagine how my stock speakers contributed to upgrading. Rear speakers swap out with no mods as advertised and the hardest part for me was removing the rear stock speakers which had been glued in....thanks Chevy. The front speakers have to have new holes drilled. I lost a 1/8" bit thanks to the Mrs. but at least she didn't drill through truck's exterior so no big deal. The head unit is a KDCX493 with 22WX4 RMS and things sound good on the High and Mids (I had to cut the lows completely). I'm sure a 4 or 5 channel ext. amp would really make these scream but I'm not ready to upgrade my alternator yet. Finally to round things out I decided to use my old KACX810D and a pair of RFR3212s. My new neighbor is not happy at all...... So if your stock speakers sound like a hobo dragging a bag of cans or if you need more volume and have a 4 or 5 channel amp that'll give you 60WX4 RMS cutting out low freqs then these are a good starting point.

Not what I expected. Replaced 4 factory speakers. During installation, discovered that the salesperson was totally unfamiliar with 09 Murano setup, even though he professed to being an expert of 20 years and knowledgeable on my existing setup. Made project extremely difficult to complete for a novice like myself. I did not have proper connectors, speaker wire harnass, or extra wiring. Salesperson did not advise me (and was not aware of) on what to do with factory tweeters - should I disconnect or how it would affect overall sound. I needed to make 2 runs to various hardware stores for the extra parts. I would rate overall sound a 3 of 10, compared to my Lexus's Mark Levinson sound a 9 of 10. If I didn't drill holes in my new car or cut existing wires, these speaker would have been history long ago!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I purchased the Infinity Reference 6032 si speakers to replace a blown after market speaker (Sony XS-F1621) I had installed in the rear deck of my 1993 Corolla some 7 years prior. I must say I noticed an immediate upgrade in clarity. The bass response was quite adequate for my medium volume listening (no amplifier/subwoofer) and trebles were improved when the tweeter selector switch was in the 3db position (this was the factory set position out of the box, and it will be obvious why this is the case when you compare with the "off" position which just didn't sound as good at medium volume levels). The installation was not exactly a trivial affair however. The speaker mounting holes did not perfectly line up with the car's mounts requiring the use of the adapter rings supplied by Crutchfield. Unfortunately those rings were slightly too large. I completely failed to notice until I'd finished, that Infinity had included their own adapter rings which were much thinner and appropriately sized. This is a good thing and I would strongly suggest trying the factory adapters first. Additionally, the solderless connectors supplied by Crutchfield really simplified the hookup. Bottom line, the Infinity's are a good sounding speaker at the right price and my mounting problems aside, they deserve a full 5 stars.

I recently installed these speakers in the front and rear of my honda, for a reasonably priced system they are great! Ample bass as long as you are not trying to shake the houses you pass as you drive, meaning if you want to listen to music with normal bass content you will be fine and these are shallow speakers! Features

Plus One+ Woofer Cones: Each speaker uses a cone significantly larger than other speakers of the same size. This is accomplished by using a unique basket design and hi-roll surround. The Plus One+ design offers greater bass output and a significant increase in efficiency.

Woofer Materials: Each woofer is constructed from Injection-Molded Polypropylene. This process of cone molding assures a uniform cone thickness for superior linearity and clarity. It is also lighter weight and more rigid for decreased distortion and improved bass response.

Hi-roll Rubber Surrounds: The hi-roll rubber surrounds allow the woofers a greater range of movement, resulting in longer X-max and more bass output.

Textile Dome Tweeters: Each speaker uses an edge-driven textile dome tweeter for smooth, accurate highs. A switch on the front of the tweeter allows you to boost the tweeter output 3dB, useful if the speakers are mounted low in a door where high frequencies are easily absorbed.

Mounting: Out of the box, the 6032si speakers easily fit many 6-3/4 applications. The cutout required for the speaker (approximately 4.9") also allows it to drop into many standard 6-1/2 applications, but the speaker's bolt pattern doesn't fit standard 3-hole 6-1/2 installations. The included mounting rings are used for standard 6-1/2, as well as many GM and Chrysler 6-3/4 applications. Screws to attach the speakers to the mounting rings are not included (self-tapping screws, 4mm diameter x 7mm length are a good fit).

True Four Ohm Impedance Technology: The speaker's 2.0-ohm impedance combined with the impedance of your speaker wire provides a true 4-ohm load to your connected headunit or amplifier.
