Infinity's CS60RDT, sold individually, gives you smooth stereo sound from one convenient speaker. It sports inputs for both the right and left channels, along with two swiveling tweeters (one per channel), so you'll hear both halves of the music mix. It's a great solution for small or awkward spaces, like a walk-in closet, where it's difficult to fit two speakers. You can also use two or more CS60RDTs to disperse sound in larger spaces where a stationary "sweet spot" won't work, such as a hallway or foyer. The included grille can be painted to match your room's décor. An optional in-ceiling bracket is recommended for installing the in a new home under construction (or in a room that's undergoing major renovation).

Good speakers

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These were perfect for the application: a small doctors office. They need just enough quality and volume to provide ambient music in the reception and exam rooms. These were perfect for that. The quality is good, and not over-the-top for the money. Also, there were extremely easy to install into the ceiling using the punch-out template provided - the built-in screws made mounting them to the ceiling tiles a snap!

Good for its intended purpose.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I was installing a multi-room audio system in a restaurant and I needed a single-speaker stereo solution for a small corridor ceiling. This speaker fit the bill to tee. Good sound for low-level listening in my application. Installation was simple with clear directions and all necessary hardware. I would consider using these in my home for hallways and bathrooms.

Mounting Options

Woofer: The 6-1/2" poly laminate cone woofer virtually eliminates coloration due to cone flexing, resulting in less distortion and superior accuracy. For a smoother response and improved durability, the woofer uses a rubber surround.

Tweeter: The speaker has dual 3/4" titanium-coated dome tweeters, each with an acoustic waveguide.

Waveguide Design: Each tweeter incorporates a proprietary waveguide design to ensure smooth distribution of sound throughout the listening area.

Mounting Options

Installation: The speaker requires a cutout of 7.896" and a depth of 4.122" (including the thickness of the drywall). The speaker frame has a diameter of 9.246". Once the hole is cut, the speaker can be dropped in and the locking tabs can be tightened, allowing you to secure the speaker to the drywall without any extra assembly.

Note: For new construction, you will need to purchase the optional IW6RRIF rough-in-frame kit (item 108IW6RRIF).

Paintable: The grille and flange can be painted, allowing this speaker to match any décor.
