Infinity bookshelf and tower speakers have long been known for their precise detail and spacious imaging. Now you can enjoy the same great Infinity sound from speakers that hide away in your walls! The ERS 210 features a 6-1/2" woofer and 3/4" tweeter — both are made of Infinity's rigid, lightweight C.M.M.D. (Ceramic Metal Matrix Diaphragm) driver material, ensuring accurate response. A proprietary waveguide design disperses sound evenly throughout your room, for impressive imaging.

The ERS 210 is ideal for multi-room audio, and also does a great job for home theater surround speaker applications. The grilles and grille frames are white, and can be painted to match any decor.

Optional rough-in frame kit (see "Accessories") is required for installing the ERS 210 in new construction. For detailed information on how to install in-wall speakers, see our free guide, "How to Install the Speakers, Outlets, and Controls," available on our Multi-room Audio Guides download page.

Ceramic Metal Matrix Diaphragm (C.M.M.D.): Infinity's C.M.M.D. technology delivers accurate performance with dramatically reduced distortion for incredibly lifelike sound. Additionally, the C.M.M.D. drivers can withstand extreme temperatures, moisture, humidity and sunlight.

Woofers: The 6- 1/2" C.M.M.D. cone woofers virtually eliminate coloration due to cone flexing, resulting in less distortion and superior accuracy. For a smoother response and improved durability, each woofer uses a rubber surround.

Tweeters: Each speaker has a 3/4" C.M.M.D. dome tweeter that offers superior stiffness and damping compared to traditional metal domes.

Waveguide Design: The ERS 210 incorporates a proprietary waveguide design to ensure smooth distribution of sound throughout the listening area.

Paintable: The grilles and flanges can be painted, allowing these speakers to match any decor.

Installation: Each speaker requires a cutout 7.645" wide, 11.34" high and a depth of 2.664" behind the drywall. Each speaker frame is 8.761" wide and 12.75" high. Once the holes are cut, each speaker can be dropped in and the locking tabs can be tightened, allowing you to secure each speaker to the drywall without any extra assembly.

Note: For new construction, you will need to purchase the optional ERS210RIF rough-in-frame kit (item 108210RIF).
