From our article Infinity One Bluetooth® speaker review

"Smaller speakers usually reproduce highs pretty well, so I look at the low-end response to see what sets one unit apart…The Infinity One reproduced [bass] with ease and accuracy...It kept the music satisfying and full."

— Cory, Crutchfield Advisor

Features

Bluetooth Technology: The Infinity One is a self-powered Bluetooth portable speaker that is ideal for your Bluetooth-enabled devices such as your Apple iPod/iPhone/iPad, Android smartphone/tablet, Blackberry, Windows PC, Mac computer, or other Bluetooth certified devices. The Infinity One supports Bluetooth audio streaming (A2DP/AVRCP) and Bluetooth hands-free communication (HFP), as well as a simple pairing procedure.

  • Simple Secure Pairing + NFC: A single button press pairs your Bluetooth-enabled device with the Infinity One. The speaker also supports NFC (Near-Field Communication) technology for pairing; simply tap your NFC-enabled Android smartphone to the NFC tag on the back of the speaker for instant pairing with the Infinity One (not available for all phones). Once paired, the portable Bluetooth speaker will automatically re-connect with your device when in wireless range (up to 33').
  • Wireless Audio Streaming: The Infinity One portable speaker streams stereo music wirelessly from Bluetooth-enabled devices such as your smartphone, tablet, computer, laptop, or other device. You can use the speaker's top-panel controls to Play, Pause, and skip to the next track. You will continue to use your Bluetooth-enabled device for advanced music navigation and to view song/artist information.
  • Hands-Free Communication: The Infinity One has a built-in microphones, so you can use it as a hands-free speaker phone. Use the Infinity One to answer phone calls, talk on Skype, or with Facetime. A long press of the Play/Answer button will activate the voice command feature of your smartphone (if applicable). You will continue to use your Bluetooth-enabled device to view video calls, manually enter phone number, and control advanced phone functions.
Note: Due to the differences in Bluetooth technology, some Bluetooth enabled devices may be incompatible, function improperly, or may not support all features when used with the Infinity One.

Full-Range Sound: The Infinity One Bluetooth speaker features four 1.75" full-range drivers  powered by a built-in 25W amplifier. Two of the four drivers are front-firing, while the other two drivers are rear-firing. The Infinity One also employs two 1.75" side-firing passive radiators to increase the speaker's low frequency response, so you get deep, smooth bass response from this compatible Bluetooth speaker.

USB Charging Port: The Infinity One is capable of recharging the battery of your Bluetooth-enabled device from the speaker's built-in USB (type-A) port. With an output of 5V/2.1A, equivalent to an iPad charger, it takes less than two hours to charge a fully depleted smartphone. Now you don't need to carry an extra charger to keep your devices powered up. This USB port does not support audio playback.

Aux Input: In addition to built-in Bluetooth, the Infinity One is fitted with a 3.5mm auxiliary input for connection of almost any portable audio player with a headphone output.

Water Resistant: The Infinity One Bluetooth speaker uses silicone sealants to make it water resistant, so you can feel comfortable taking it out on the deck or to the pool. This speaker is water resistant, not water proof. It should not be submerged in water or left outside for long periods of time.

Flexible Placement: The Infinity One Bluetooth speaker plays from either a vertical or horizontal position, so you can place it in a variety of locations.

Top-Panel Controls: The Infinity One provides top-panel buttons that offer the following control - Power On/Off, Volume Up/Down, Bluetooth Pairing, and Play/Answer. The Play/Answer buttons also lets you Pause music playback, Skip to the next music track, or activate voice commands on your phone (if equipped). Advanced music and phone functions will still need to be done from your Bluetooth-enabled mobile device.

LED Indicator: A clearly visible LED lets you know when the built-in battery needs to be recharged, as well as when the Infinity One is in Bluetooth listening or pairing mode.

Rechargeable Battery: The Infinity One speaker has a built-in rechargeable Lithium-ion polymer battery (7.4V/5000mAh) that provides up to ten hours of playback time (playback time will vary by volume level and audio content). You can easily recharge the battery using the included AC power adapter or the speaker's rear-panel miniUSB port and a free USB on your computer (USB cable not provided). The AC power adapter can also be used to power the speaker.

Customer Q&A

Q
Will this speaker work overseas by auto sensing the local voltage and frequency?
douglas  May 08, 2016
5 answers
A
yes - it operates on battery except when plugged in. when plugged it operates on 50/60 Hz, 110/220 VAC. Regards
scott  May 09, 2016
A
I doubt it senses anything, but it's long lasting lithium battery is charged by a 110v 60Hz wall charger so as long as the charger works with whatever adapter is used for the local power it should work fine. I love this music bomb.
phil  May 09, 2016
A
Can't say for certain, but I would think from the power rating it will work with proper plug adapter
mark  May 09, 2016
A
Yes it will, It has auto switching voltage power supply.
alvin  May 09, 2016
A
The included power supply is rated for 100-240V, 50/60Hz input, so that should work in most situations.

I have paired different devices but one one at a time. I'm very happy with sound quality and battery life.
scott  May 17, 2015
A
Good question. I paired my iPhone and my iPad consecutively and it found both of them. I don't know if that's what you mean by at the same time.
kim  May 17, 2015
A
No
fred c.  May 17, 2015
A
Yes, but only one at a time will play

Q
Will this I one speaker do alright in my golf cart? My buddies all have mediocre portable speakers and I want "the bomb"
steven  May 15, 2015

A
Absolutely, this would be perfect for that application. There are more weather proof speakers though if you're worried about it getting wet.
jeff  May 18, 2015
A
Yes, this speaker is awesome!
brett  May 18, 2015
A
Yes, this speaker is awesome!!!
brett  May 18, 2015
A
YES!!!! I've had plenty of Bluetooth speakers. This is by far the best in sound. It definitely has the best boom. It will surprise you.
tyree  May 17, 2015
A
Oh yes! Hopefully you are not on the golf course with this much sound power.
jeffrey  May 17, 2015
A
The infinity one is a great speaker the problem is it's round in shape and will roll around a lot. It plays pretty loud too. You may want to look at the Riva turbo x...another really good speaker that won't roll around in the golf cart. Crutchfield also sells it.
andrew  May 17, 2015
A
It will be the 'bomb' for sound, but you will need to secure it well - zip ties, Velcro straps, etc. - since it is a stout unit that you will not want damaged.
peter  May 17, 2015
A
It sounds great plenty of volume heavy enough to disperse vibration and plenty of base.
ron  May 17, 2015
A
I've used it outside and was pleased. It's difficult to get big bass outside in general, but it was decent. You'll have a hard time getting a better sounding speaker - yeah it's the bomb
mark  May 17, 2015
A
I wouldn't only because it's a high priced portable and would be difficult to secure. The sound is outstanding.
paul  May 17, 2015
A
The Infiniti 1 will be more than enough for your need.
brian  May 17, 2015
A
It will rock a golf cart. The Infinity has excellent sound with full range. Like other high quality speakers, it may not be the loudest, but it does have awesome clarity.
troy  May 17, 2015
A
I would not recommend this speaker in your golf cart unless you treat it like a precious baby. The body paint job scratches easily. And the infinity logo on the passive radiators at both ends don't tolerate getting touched at all. Plus it's heavier than you would think.
bang  May 17, 2015
Q
What is the maximum wattage output on this speaker?
josh  Mar 23, 2015
4 answers
A
25 W rating; sounds like more, though.
peter  Mar 29, 2015
A
25Watts with a Max SPL of 80db. It has a very good bass response for both a speaker it's size as well as operating from a battery. I travel with this. It is easily loud enough to cause complaints from the hotel room next door.
jeff  Mar 24, 2015
A
25 watts this speaker is very loud and with good bass.
fred c.  Mar 23, 2015
A
I'm not 100 percent sure about max wattage but the amplifier powering the 4 speakers is rated at 25 watts.
