The center channel speaker is a crucial part of any surround sound speaker system. The Infinity PC350 pulls you into the movie action with clean, accurate dialogue and robust sound effects. This versatile speaker also does a great job with multichannel music and video game soundtracks.

The PC350's three-way design helps it deliver clear, room-filling sound. Like most center channel speakers, the '350 includes a tweeter to reproduce the highs and two woofers for the lows. However, Infinity goes a step further with the PC350 and adds two drivers specifically designed for midrange frequencies. All the drivers use a stiff aluminum core to virtually eliminate distortion. It all adds up to precise, powerful sound across the entire audible spectrum.

Your home theater's most important speaker

The center channel speaker is the workhorse in a home theater system. It has to reproduce clear dialogue and special effects that keep your eyes and ears glued to the movie action. A high-quality center speaker is a great investment for any surround sound setup. Try to choose one that's as closely matched as possible to your front right and left speakers, so that as sound moves across the front stage, it stays seamlessly realistic.

Good product & Good sound

Written By David S., San Jose, CA on Sunday, June 17, 2012

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I purchased this speaker from Crutchfield because it was offered at the best price. I had recently purchased a pair of Infinity Primus 360 towers and i wanted to match them to my center channel. I thought the center channel was fine but I decided to return the towers and opted for another line so it made sense to return the center as well. The Primus series has good sound, clear with good tonal qualities and a good looking cabinet.

Pros: Good quality, sound and looks

Cons: Not bright enough sound for my taste

PC 350 is a serious speaker

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I found the best price here at Crutchfield. I understand, it's a good idea to match your Front and Center speakers as closely as possible, so I matched by Infinity fronts with this. The speaker is larger and more powerful than I expected and delivers extremely clear sound for dialogue.

Pros: Lots of speaker for the money, with the expected Infinity quality.

Cons: None. Crutchfield was excellent on all counts.

Excellent Sound

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Phenomenal sound and clarity. Sad to see the product discontinued. Got it for more than a steal at half off. Tried out Avatar on BluRay for my first test movie and the sounds were clear as can be. Rain drops were surreal, and gun shots were life like. This speaker is huge, and I didn't believe the measurements, I had no room on my entertainment center for my TV, so to show the strength of this speaker it has been holding my 42" LCD HDTV for two months. The speakers is solid and takes up a fair amount of surface space. If you cant get it here, find it somewhere, it's a speaker purchase you will not regret. Its just what my 5.2 System need added to my Acoustic Research 310 HO Towers, and my rear Infinity P152's. Don't skimp on your Center Channel it's the life of the party.

Pros: Strong, Durable, Clear Sound, a dream come true.

Cons: Its heavy and huge, but not a Con at all if you have the room.

FCC Licensed I know my electronics. The Infinity PC350 out- performs everything I've tried over 40 years. My hearing ain't what it used to be at 81 . Been at it to find something that lived up to it's specs. I mean serious mfg's . 'Tho doubting Infinity claims, I jumped outa my shorts when I connected to my Carver amp and found clear, clean voice and music. Hey!! For this price, a real and honest deal. Believe it....

Great speaker, good price

Written By Phil, Iowa City, IA on Sunday, May 27, 2012

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I was impressed with the quality of the cabinet and grill. The speaker is quite large, as it has 5 drivers. It is also very heavy, and in this case, that is a plus; after all, there is a lot to it. It sounds great! Infinity knows what it takes to build a quality speaker at an affordable price. Crutchfield picked a good candidate for a large purchase sell off. My 18 yr. old Infinity 1 center speaker picked a good time to go bad, with a slight buzz in the tweeter. I believe the 135 watts per channel, of my new Onkyo A/V receiver was just to much for it. The PC-350 will hold up well though, with it's 150 watts handling ability. I highly recommend this speaker. Don't let this one slip by!

Pros: Quality built, nice appearance, great sound, high wattage rating, good price

Cons: NONE!

This is a great sounding center channel speaker. The sound is big and paired with four 163's and my sub it can't get any better without spending a ton more money. Dialogue is easy to understand and loud enough that you aren't wondering what was said. They are also musical and sound great playing in 5 channel stereo. I'm using an Onkyo receiver and 18 inch subs pushed by an old Hafler amp.

Pros: Sound is excellent. At this price it can't be beat.

Cons: None

Cons: Can't really thnk of any at this time.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Came quickly, resonably priced. I replaced a small onkyo Center Channel with the Infinity PC350, After setting up Receiver lvl's with new 8 ohm over the onkyo's 6 ohm requirements then setting volume lvls, I have a Yamaha receiver that has 90 watts per channel, I will now explain my experience. For Movies where using the 7.1 setup I found the Center conversations clear and easier to understand, for range I notice more midrange in front center area. I have a 29x19 room so the larger center channel is good. for music I run a 7 channel enhancement often and the center channel is clean and bright, with good mids. my 2 Front speakers are Warfdale W70D's that have been tuned with modern equipment but have dynamic range 24-30k so they get the majority of sound but the PC350 is good for the price. and attractive under any Wide Screen TV.

Pros: good mids, bright hi's attractive cabinet, low priced, I like the connectors in back. And the Hardwood seems well painted, I like the grill's ability to be removed easily when I want to watch the movement.

Cons: at 20 plus pounds, lol, not so easy to mount on the wall, fortunate for me I had shelf space below TV.

The Infinity PC350 3-Way Center Channel Speaker

Written By Daily Music Officionado, Sacramento, CA on Wednesday, March 07, 2012

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The first time I hooked up this center speaker I was amazed with both the musical instruments and the human voices I was not hearing... without it! I have been watching and listening to some favorite movies and have heard comments by actors and depths of musical sound that I never heard before and the same is true with symphonic performances; with this you will get to hear every instrument in the orchestra. Sounds are amazing, clear, and so realistic. And Crutchfield's price was the best I found anywhere...they sent it right out and it went across the country to my home in CA and was delivered very quickly by UPS. WOW! I'm soooooooooooooo glad I got this 3-way center speaker by Infinity. Go for it. You'll love it!

Pros: Clarity of all instrument sounds and voices, even at a very low volume. Super solid construction. Quality, quality, quality. Performance at ANY volume level. Nice looking, a very attractive looking speaker. HEAVY, and you get quality sound. An unsurpassed value in my opinion.

Cons: None. This thing is perfect.

I am totally happy with this center speaker. It carries most of the sound of any TV show I am watching and voices sound rich and natural. The impressive bass and mid-range make music sound great. Other less expensive center speakers I have used tended to sound a little harsh or as though someone were speaking through a megaphone. I am not a qualified audiophile reviewer but I love to listen to this speaker. I am under the impression that the PC 350 is the same as the 351 for nearly half the price.

Cons: Big and heavy-but worth it. Make sure you have the room.

Purchased this center to match my Primus towers. Although the center is a large speaker, it delivers clear sound and good bass. Bang for the buck I dont think any of the Primus family of speakers can be beat.

Pros: -Great bass response -Great vocals and high tones -Very clean sounding speaker. Seems like I am able to hear everything much easier verses my older center.

Cons: -Only drawback is that it has a large footprint, but well worth it.

Written By Jay, Central KY on Friday, December 23, 2011

I was pretty skeptical about how well center channels can sound after my first purchase of a cheap center channel. Boy was I suprised at how great this component sounds. Very lifelike sound at a VERY reasonable price. I couldn't be any happier with this purchase. The only thing I can see negative with this particular channel is the weight. It is surprisingly heavy. I wouldn't reccomend to mount this channel on any TV with a TV mount. Especially if you have a sub that pounds. A+ Infinity!!!

Paired with Pioneer VSX-1021 7.1, Infinity Primus P362's, Infinity Primus P162's, and an Infinity 10'' sub.

Pros: Great sound, Great price

Cons: HEAVY!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I'm hard of hearing (high tones) and for that reason I am a hard core Klipsh fan (old school) my system consist of: Front speakers - Fortes, rear - in ceiling Klipsh, sub - 10" Klipsh and center "was" Klipsh. Problem was all my speakers, (except) the center channel, are extremely efficient. I could not get enough power to the center speaker to hear voices and whatever else should have been going through that channel. My Yamaha amp only puts out 100 watts to the center channel. So i did a little research and read allot of reviews and was really impressed with what I read on this speaker. Bottom line! I ordered it hooked it up and was blown away. I (and most important) my family really enjoys surround sound again. This speaker is so efficient I had to turn down the power to that speaker to 40%. I can easily recommend this speaker to anyone looking for an affordable center channel speaker that can fill a large room with as low as 10 watts of power.

Pros: Sounds good, well built, looks good

Cons: n/a

This is a great center speaker. I believe that having mid-range speakers, in this three way system, helps bringe out the dialoge, above any back ground sound, on CDs,DVDs,or Tv.

Pros: Its compact size, allows it to be mounted in a cabinet, and the clear reproduction of voices.

Cons: Nothing

As a replacement for a old video1 center channel speaker the pc 350 seems to match fairly close to my old Infinity Studio Monitors, but not great. In fareness though I have not yet balanced the new speaker to the system as I am waiting to break it in. It sounds great. Very clear. If at such time it is still not a perfect match, I will buy new Infinity fronts. I have owned Infinity speakers for over 30 years and have never been dissapointed. Hope they continue making them.

From 250 to 350

Written By Al, San Fernando Valley, CA on Friday, September 09, 2011

I have had an excellent 5.1 setup for the past few years in the family room (10'x18'). Infinity: PS 8 sub, Primus 152 surrounds, Primus 162 fronts and Primus 250 center. Performance exceeded the price point of the speakers, yet the glowing reviews of the 350 kept me thinking of an upgrade for a long time.

$150! and free shipping for a 30 pound package helped me place the order.

The 350 is as advertised. While the 250 held its' own very well with dialogue and music, the 350 eliminates some fatigue at high volume and can provide low frequencies that cause me to forget about the sub at times.

Movies are one area, but I really enjoy my SACD's and DVD 5.1Audio (Queen- Night at the Opera!) . This is where the big center proves its' worth.

I am very happy that I waited to get this price and even more happy about the upgrade.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

After deciding to use P162's for front and rears, I looked at both this speaker and the
PC250 for a center channel. After reading various reviews of all these different speakers,
I decided that the PC350 was worth the upgrade.

After installing and using it, I am absolutely thrilled with this decision. We were listening to
"The Sing Off" with this speaker and the quality of the sound reproduction was excellent.
The detail, clarity and lack of distortion made watching this show amazing.

It is also great for home theater and I am pleased with how well it compliments the P162's.

They do say it is designed to work with the towers, but my experience with it is that it
makes an ideal companion to the P162 and it is definitely worth the extra $50.

This center channel speaker has the same quality of sound that the Mirage produced but it
enhances the quality by filling the 24x24 foot room with more of the quality volume. It is
larger in cone area size and produces a larger theater quality than the small Boze or Mirage
with a more crisp clarity (because of the larger size). Everyone loves the larger speakers
because they produce the room filling effect that I wanted when showing movies. Their may
be a better CC speaker on the market for the money but I haven't found it yet.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I purchased this center channel to match to the pair of Primus 360s I bought recently. The PC350 blends with them seamlessly, & provides the centerfill & clear clean dialog we need for movie watching. I recently switched from some more "tweaky" audiophile bookshelf speakers to these, and I must say, the Infinitys are quite an improvement & I don't have to do anything but just connect them & listen.

Works Well, No Complaints

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Works well in my home theater setup. I have two large, 15 year old Infinity tower speakers that were very expensive, high quality, cost about $1,200 for the pair back when I bought them from Crutchfield. This new center channel speaker seems to keep right up with them, giving surprisingly high quality sound. Good base response considering they do not have large drivers (and I don't have a subwoofer, just the two front towers, the new Infinity center channel, and two Polk shelf speakers as the rear surrounds). Trebles sound clear. Handles the loud, punchy battle scenes in movies like Saving Private Ryan or Master and Commander quite well. Seems like a lot of speaker for the money. Very happy. No complaints.

More important than you think

Written By Anonymous, San Diego, CA on Sunday, May 23, 2010

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

So you've invested good money in your sound system and front left & right speakers, but when you're sitting there watching "The Office" or similar shows and movies that are just voice dialog, all the sound is coming out of your front center speaker, so you don't want to skimp there either.

I recently upgraded my fronts to the Infinity P362 towers, and they only served to point out the inadequacies of my existing center, so I went ahead and ordered the PC350. And wow, what a difference it makes. Suddenly, voices sound full and powerful, and not like they're being squeezed down a pipe of limited bandwidth.

I'm sure I could have spent thousands more, but this was the perfect tradeoff of price and quality. I have no regrets.

I bought this to replace an old center channel speaker that I salvaged from a previous home theater in a box setup. I knew it was time to get a new center speaker after realizing that my soundbar in another room sounded so much better than my 5.1 setup (including in ceiling speakers, receiver, powered sub) in my main TV room. Hook up was easy and I tuned to a movie playing on HBO HD (the Watchmen) and all I can say is WOW! What the heck took me so long to get this speaker? It's true what they say, having a great center channel speaker makes a heck of a difference. The voices are so much easier to understand, even at lower volume.

The speaker is a bit heavy, but it's actually a good thing as far as I'm concerned. Great construction and awesome sound quality. A must buy!

Got this paired with my pair of P362's So far this center channel has not lived up to the
sound of the towers. To be fair hopefully it is caused by a 15 year old receiver I am

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Had the PC350 for about a month now and am very impressed. I was hesitant to
replace a perfectly good center channel speaker but went ahead after I bought new
Infinity P362 towers and they didn't timbre match my current center speaker. If you
are just watching sit-coms or cartoons you probably won't want or need a speaker
like this but if you have a Blu-ray player and A/V receiver decoding the new Hi-Def
audio formats, this is a great speaker for the job.
The obvious difference is sounds like explosions, gunfire, thunder, etc. This
speaker reproduces those sounds realistically and without distortion. I even use it
with my A/V receiver with the multi-channel stereo function while listening to music
and it sounds great all by itself.
The only possible drawback I have found is that it is BIG and HEAVY. Both of these
are actually good things in my mind (with respect to quality construction) as long as
you are not limited on space.
It is a three-way speaker design where most center channel speakers are a two-way
design. I asked the Crutchfield sales rep if this was a gimmick and he said in so
many words that Infinity has come up with an economical way to make that design
work. He even suggested the smaller PC250 since this one would be a tight fit in my
setup. I opted for this one and made it work. I would recommend this speaker; just
make sure you have the space for it.

Outstanding Center Speaker Value

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I used this Infinity PC350 to replace the little tiny center channel speaker that came with my Bose Acoustimass system and what a huge difference it made!

This is so much better I can't begin to describe it. Like many have reported the audio/voice from the little cubes is just plain small sounding. I found myself needing to really turn up the volume during movies to understand the dialog with the Acoustimass surround sound system. Once I replaced the original center channel speaker with this Infinity it changed everything for the better. Movie sound is now much better balanced and I don't need to have really high volumes to understand the main voices. Center channel sound is now just so much bigger, clearer, and crisper.

I was worried about mixing brands and using both the Bose Acoustimass system and this Infinity speaker together but it turned out to be needless worry. The balance turned out outstanding and I had no troubles at all setting them up to my liking.

Fit & finish appears excellent and the binding posts for the speaker wire are very sturdy. I removed the front grill for inspection and all drivers/mids/tweeters were perfectly mounted. The weight is pretty heavy which I think is a good thing as more mass means bigger magnetics and a stable speaker. Overall feel of this speaker is that it is made with a very high build quality. I highly recommend this product.

Typical Infinity Quality

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

As with one other reviewer, I put this between a set of 150's with an Infinity 12" Sub. The sound is amazing. I do have lesser speakers as the surrounds right now. But friends who's spent a lot more money on their systems than I come over and are amazed. You will never regret purchasing any Infinity speaker, and this PC350 is no exception. Voice clarity on movie dialog is crystal clear and full-spectrum.

Great Center Speaker

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I have this pair up with 162's, ers 310 (which are great by the way), and 12" sub and this thing is amazing. Great clear sound and plenty of bass. Great speaker at almost any price. Give this speaker a serious look when you are shopping around you wont be disappointed.

Great Anchor for HT System

Written By Frank, Chicago, IL on Thursday, March 19, 2009

I have this set up with 2 P162 speakers in front and 2 P150 speakers in the back along with the matching 8" sub. This is by far the most detail-sharpening speaker I have heard without tripling the price.

The speaker is physically large and heavier than you might expect, so check out the specs as it might not fit on your current shelving. If you can make it work, you will not believe the difference it makes.

This speaker woke the rest of my system!!!

I had a home made center channel speaker that I had built with Pioneer components that I thought was good. However, the sound was missing something. The rest of my system is all Infinity so I thought I'd keep it all Infinity. I read a lot of reviews and almost went with the C 360 but decided to go with the C 350 instead. When I got the speaker I thought I'd been sent something else, it's a big (beautiful) speaker. When I hooked it up and stepped back I couldn't believe the differance it made! I like to watch MHD and the concerts are amazing. Regular shows sound great too. THe sound now flows from all the speakers seamlessly. Best speaker out there!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought one of these and loved it so much, I bought another for another
7.1ch system. The sound is so real and crisp. Overall, you can't touch this
for the quality and price. Although it is a little big, the size makes up for the
sound it puts out. Like they say, no replacement for displacement!!

Excellent Speaker

Written By Maurice, Bowie, MD on Tuesday, May 20, 2008

The center channel speaker is arguably the most important speaker in a surround sound setup. I already had a Boston Acoustics VR Reference Center speaker. It is a great 3 way center speaker. I purchased another large screen TV and wanted to get another VR speaker, but it was discontinued. I decided on the Infinity PC350, and could not resist comparing the two. The PC350 is a bit larger than the VR. Other than that, it sounds just as clear and balanced. I recommend highly.

If you have the Primus 360's then for a better sounding center channel get the Primus Pc350. I had the 250 and It is a very good center channel, but the Pc350 is clearly better than the 250. It is more dominating and seems to sound match with the 360 towers a lot better than the 250. Its not overwellming but there is a difference and I am glad I spent the money to upgrade to the PC 350. I now have the Primus 360 towers, the PC350 center channel and the 160 rears with twin 150watt subs and the sound is really really good.

Ive always been an Infinity fan. I was using a RS video center channel with sm125 for the fronts & sm65 for the rear. my rs video was acting up so i got a pc250 upgrade not knowing about the pc-350. the pc-250 was nice with the current technoligy. but once i upgraded again to the pc-350 and added the ps212 subwoofer, it was like a whole new world. if anybodys looking for a great center channel at a great price get the three way pc-350 youll be glad.

This speaker made a gigantic difference. The highs are crisp, bass is hefty, and the mids make the dialog clear. Best speaker I have purchased to date. I am glad I did not settle for the 2 channel C250.

Infinity PC350

This is an outstanding Infinity product. I upgraded from a 2 way Polk Audio center speaker to this BAD BOY and I'm enjoying every minute of it. There is an amazing difference from a 2 way to a 3 way speaker that is impossible to miss. Especially, when 80% of the home entertainment is brought to life by the center speaker. This is a great deal, even more if you are planning to have the primus line of Infinity speakers. I was able to track my order from UPS and I can still afford to get popcorn and a movie...Thanks Crutchfield.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Infinity has always been able to come through with great sound for resonable money. This holds true with the PC350. This speaker is awesome and for less than $300 it's definately a no brainer. It handles movies and music very well. The highs are crisp and for a center channel speaker it delivers resonable bass. I'm really enjoying the Primus line that Infinity has out. Match this speaker up with 4 of the Primus P152's and a PS210 and you'll have a 5.1 system that sounds increadible without spending too much money. Also i'd like to add that Crutchfield sent my order on time and i recived it a day eary. I'll definately be a repeat customer.

For a center channel speaker, this one is really good. I have a C25 and it was just not good enough to pull a surround sound system together. This one can handle the job.

Driver Technology

Driver Technology

Metal Matrix Diaphragm (M.M.D.): Derived from the C.M.M.D. material used in Infinity's flagship Cascade series, M.M.D. features a stiff aluminum core, anodized on both sides for increased strength and rigidity. M.M.D. transducers conduct sound faster than paper, polypropylene, and Kevlar, pushing unwanted resonances beyond the operating range of the transducer. M.M.D. drivers deliver crystal-clear, distortion-free sound from dynamic digital sources, even at high listening levels.

Woofers: The dual 5-1/4" M.M.D. cone woofers offer extremely accurate lower midrange response for cleaner, more realistic sound. For a smoother response and improved durability, the woofers use rubber surrounds.

Midranges: The PC350 has dual 3" M.M.D. cone midranges for full, accurate upper midrange sounds. The mids also use rubber surrounds.

Tweeter: The speaker has a 3/4" M.M.D. dome tweeter that offers superior stiffness and damping compared to traditional metal domes.

Waveguide: The PC350's tweeter utilizes an acoustical waveguide to deliver, more even high frequency response, no matter what part of the room you're in.

Crossover: The speaker features a 3-way crossover system with crossover frequencies at 650Hz and 2800Hz. The crossover has a 24dB/octave slope.

Matching System: The PC350 is voice-matched to all the speakers in the Primus line, so a complete matching system can be built.

5-Way Binding Posts: The 5-way binding posts will accept bare wire, pin connectors, spade connectors, banana plugs, and dual banana plugs.

Grille: The speaker comes with a removable cloth grille with a rigid plastic frame.

  • With Grille: Width = 24.125", Height = 7.365", Depth = 9.5625"
  • Without Grille: Width = 23.25", Height = 7.365", Depth = 9.125"
