The Clip+ features an integrated carabiner-style clip. Just hook it on your backpack, bag, or belt and go. Wirelessly stream music from your smartphone or tablet, and if you have something old-school, like an iPod classic®, no worries. Bluetooth 3.0 The JBL Clip+ is a self-powered Bluetooth (v.3.0) portable speaker that is ideal for your Bluetooth-enabled devices such as your Apple iPod/iPhone/iPad, Android smartphone/tablet, Blackberry, Windows Phone/PC, Mac computer/laptop, or other Bluetooth certified devices. The JBL Clip+ supports Bluetooth audio streaming (A2DP 1.2/AVRCP 1.4) and Bluetooth hands-free communication (HFP 1.6), as well as a simple pairing procedure.

Simple Secure Pairing: A single button press pairs your Bluetooth-enabled device with the Clip+ speaker. Once paired, the JBL Clip+ will automatically re-connect with your device when in wireless range (up to 33').
Wireless Audio Streaming: The JBL Clip+ portable speaker streams stereo music wirelessly from Bluetooth-enabled devices such as your smartphone, tablet, computer, laptop, or other device. You'll be able to control Play, Pause, and Skip functions from the speaker. You will need to continue to use your Bluetooth-enabled device for advanced music navigation and to view song/artist information.
Hands-Free Communication: The JBL Clip+ has a built-in microphone so you can use it as a hands-free speaker phone. Use the Clip+ to answer phone calls, talk on Skype, or with Facetime. A long press of the call-answer button will activate the voice command feature of your smartphone (if applicable). You will continue to use your Bluetooth-enabled device to view video calls, manually enter phone number, and control advanced phone functions.

Note: Due to the differences in Bluetooth technology, some Bluetooth enabled devices may be incompatible, function improperly, or may not support all features when used with the JBL Clip+.

Full-Range Driver: The JBL Clip+ houses a single 1.5" full-range driver with powered by a built-in 3.2W amplifier.

Portable & Splashproof Design: The JBL Clip+ is lightweight, rugged, and comes with a built-in carabiner letting you hook it easily to whatever clothes you're wearing or backpack you're shouldering. Its also splashproof, so you can feel comfortable taking out on the desk, by the pool, or with you on a picnic.

Note: The JBL Clip+ is only splashproof and should not be submerged in water.

Aux Input: In addition to built-in Bluetooth, the JBL Clip is fitted with a 3.5mm auxiliary input for connection of almost any portable audio player with a headphone output.

Daisy Chain: You can daisy chain two JBL Clip+ speakers together for more sound. Each speaker will output the same audio signal (not stereo).

Rechargeable Battery: The JBL Clip+ Bluetooth speaker has a built-in Lithium-ion polymer rechargeable battery (3.7V/600mAh) that provides up to five hours of playback time. You can easily recharge the battery using the included USB cable and a free USB port on your computer or 3rd party AC/USB adapter (sold separately). Charging time is approximately 2 hours.

Can you run 2 as stereo sound or just one for mono?

I have one in black and it works well for mono sound. It comes with a cord & mini audio plug to bypass the bluetooth connection, but it might be possible to rig up some way of getting 2 stereo channels to 2 Clip+ units with a Y connector cable. Good luck!

you can run two for stereo, however i rate this speaker a 1 on a scale of 10. battery doesnt tell you when its charged . charge for 24 hrs plays 20 min ad dies its a huge let down.

You can daisy chain two JBL Clip+ speakers together for more sound. However, each speaker will output the same audio signal (not stereo).

Don't know as I never tried but even if possible, I cannot possibly imagine that you would be satisfied with the quality of the sound in stereo. Using one clip for just casual and passive listening is perfectly fine with satisfactory sound reproduction, but to try to reproduce quality stereo? In my opinion, you will have to spend a little more money. But to your specific question, can you run a pair for stereo? i don't know. Sorry.

It only comes with a USB cable that you can plug into a computer or any USB power adapter. If you have non-apple cell phone, odds are its charger will also work on the speaker.

My clip+ came with a USB charging cable that can work with most AC/USB adapters such as those that come with the iPhone. I also discovered that my Kindle charger (AC) fits the Clip+.
