DUBS265

Jensen incorporates the distinctive DUB look into the tweeter design, giving you a solid speaker that's stylish too.

Big sound

Jensen has partnered with DUB magazine to create special-edition speakers that deliver robust sound with an affordable price tag. Install these DUBS265 6-1/2" speakers, and you'll notice a significant improvement in the sound of your car's system. The DUBS265's rigid, injected-molded polypropylene woofer cone helps make this speaker so responsive, delivering midrange musical details the way they were meant to be heard. Jensen rounds out this 2-way speaker with a silk dome tweeter that keeps every high note smooth and clean.

The included DUB-designed grilles make a nice accessory for drivers looking to add a little flair to an average ride with a custom installation.

Why replace your car's original speakers?

The speakers that originally came in your car were made from inexpensive materials, designed to create acceptable sound at the lowest possible cost to the manufacturer. If you love music, you deserve better. Name-brand aftermarket speakers deliver fuller, richer sound with considerably more detail and nuance, and they're capable of playing louder and cleaner than factory speakers. Connect new speakers to your factory radio and you'll get the best possible sound from your dealer-equipped system. Pair them up with a new car stereo for a level of enjoyment that can rival a high-fidelity home audio experience.

I bought these as a replacement for the cheap paper speakers in my '07 Silverado. Install went great. Nice basic speaker.

Pros: Nice sound, economical price.

These speakers replaced the original equipment rear door speakers in a 2008 Silverado Crew Cab. With adapters provided they were a perfect fit and sounded much better than the original equipment. OEM speakers are $82 a pair. The sound better and cost $10 less.

Pros: Very easy to install and sound great. Price and performance makes the a great value.

Cons: None

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I didn't expect much for the price, but I was surprised with how clear they were. They're a nice little jump up from stock. I just wish the brackets for my 2007 Silverado held the speakers on a little more snugly.

Pros: Overall good speaker, and sound better than stock.

Cons: I wish the brackets held the speaker on tighter.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I replaced all 4 door speakers in my 07 Avalanche. They sounded a lot better than factory. After I got past the jitters of never taken door covers off without destroying them, it was simple with Crutchfield's free parts and instructions. It took less than 2 hours for all 4.

Pros: Good sound and easy installation for an average handy guy.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Wish the base was bigger. Install was OK however mounting the speakers to the provided brackets was not as secure as i would like. No way to mount any better way with provided hardware. All in, not a bad speaker for the price but would consider another brand and spend a little more for something nicer.

Pros: Good construction.

Cons: Small bass with factory head unit.

2012 Subaru Impreza
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I replaced the 4 standard factory door speakers which sounded really thin with very little mid-range and no bass. I decided to try Jensen DUBS265 based on my experience with Jensen's in the 1970's and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the speakers. The sound improvement has been exactly what I was hoping for. I'm a bit surprised that the Jensen DUBS265S speakers are getting even better each day as they break in. I'm looking forward to the see how good they get each day.

Pros: Great clearity, mid-range and a fair amount of bass comes through. Excellant quality and great price.

Cons: None

Features

Woofers: The mica-reinforced Injection Molded Polypropylene (IMPP) woofer cones are rigid and lightweight. The Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) surround is resistant to ultraviolet rays, temperature extremes, and humidity to add to the speaker's reliability and longevity.

Dome Tweeter: Each speaker has a 1" silk dome tweeter with a neodymium magnet. Silk is lightweight and great for high frequency extension and efficiency. It is also designed for durability in the extreme automotive environment.

Mounting: The speaker baskets have multiple mounting holes and are designed to fit standard 3-hole 6-1/2" applications, Ford's 4-hole 6-1/2" applications, and a standard 4-hole 6-3/4" application. (When mounting in a 6-3/4" application, a speaker baffle must be used to seal the inner ring of screw holes.)
