Jensen has partnered with DUB magazine to create special-edition speakers that deliver robust sound with an affordable price tag. Install these DUBS369 6"x9" speakers, and you'll notice a significant improvement in your car's system thanks to the DUBS369's injected molded polypropylene woofer cone. How far above the top of the speaker does the tweeter stick up? I need to mount these on the bottom of the rear deck and be close to flush with the top of the deck.

I Gave them as a gift. Never was able to see them mounted. I did hear they mounted without issue in a Pontiac Grand Am.

2004 Accord EX The Jenson DUBs369 fit right into the holes, But trying to get the OEM top grills back on is a real challenge. Its as if the bezels on the Jensens are a touch bigger than the original junk that was in the car and the grills will not snap back in flush. Cut away some of the useless support plastic but it will still not clamp down with the original clips without some noticeable gaps. Should I now be cutting part of the rear deck lid to make room??

Q
What size speaker wire should I use with this speaker to hook up to an amp?

I would have to know how big of an amp and what kind. We didn't have to hook ours up to an amp. Our went into a grand am with the monsoon system and all I had to do was cut the pigtails off of the wires and connect them to the speakers. A 12 gage wire would be a good wire tho. It shouldn't be to big or to small for the nessisary current needed for the speakers. If you want to 10 gage that would be fine also but over kill, but if you wanted bigger speakers later that need more juice then you could go that route. Really, if you are only planning on using these speakers even a 14 would work if you wanted to go a little cheaper.
