5.25" 3-way speakers

The performers

Kenwood's Performance Series speakers employ a multi-driver design to give you articulate lows, clean vocals, and startling highs. Kenwood has incorporated the latest technology into these speakers, so you'll get the biggest sonic bang for your buck.

A whole new speaker

The KFC-1395PS 5-1/4" 3-way speakers feature a water-resistant paper cone with a new radial rib pattern, which increases speaker strength and delivers more responsive bass. The addition of a rubber surround ensures a new level of overall durability, so you'll be enjoying that fresh-from-the-box sound for years.

All the musical details are handled by the 1-3/16" tweeter and 1/2" supertweeter. Kenwood engineered a smoother listening experience with the Acoustic Sound Harmonizer, which uses slots on the mount which houses the tweeter and supertweeter to improve the progression into the higher frequencies. Grilles are included for custom installations.

GREAT sound out of such a small package!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These sound far superior to stock but at 5.25" don't expect any bass. If these are your only speakers you will need a subwoofer. Installation could not have been easier in the sound bar of my '99 Jeep Wrangler.

Pros: Price, fit, highs are crisp, Kenwood name.

Cons: No low end

Sound good

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Installed these in my daughters 1996 Dodge Dakota extended cab and they sound great!!! My complaint is with Crutchfield. These speakers are almost to small to fit the factory speaker location. Fabricated a bracket so I could mount them properly.

Pros: Price and sound quality!!!

Cons: To small for the factory speaker location.

2012 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Cargo
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The factory speakers on our Sprinter van were hardly adequate except for talk radio. The Kenwood KFC-1395PS make classical music listenable while underway and quite good while parked. It would take serious sound deadening and more power to really sound great on the road. Overall we are happy for the money. The installation instructions were dated (up to 2009 Dodge Sprinter vs our 2012 MB Sprinter) but adequate. As instructions indicated, drilling new holes, supplying new attachment hardware, and cutting and soldering were required. Those with limited skills may need some help.
