Excellent product - Great fit

I purchased the in dash Kenwood system to replace the standard radio and to have a
build in GPS system that I don't have to be scared about being stolen.
Installation was not too hard. I found that instruction to cut certain pieces of the kit were
not applicable as the bracket for the Tundra is used. Could have saved me 15 minutes. :)
I also included the iPod control cable and routed that through the cloves box. This allows
me to keep my iPod out of sight and secure.
I am thinking about expanding the system with either Sirous or XM radio.
The receiver looks great. I use the remote and just love the Garmin GPS.
a Great buy that I would consider buying again if I had to.

I installed two of these units in our vehicles. The convenience of having true Garmin-
based navigation in this in-dash unit is great. Portable units are OK but I would rather
not have to constantly fumble with putting it up and down with every stop I make
throughout the day. Around DC, if you leave your portable unit in sight, you are inviting
thieves to break your window and grab the portable unit.
I saved a lot of money over the factory navigation solutions and have a better sounding
and navigating unit.

Was great till GPS died.

I spent a lot to have this system installed so it played on the rear DVD player, the steering wheel control and Ipod control. Now after 3 months the GPS screen is blank and all Kenwood says is to take out the system and mail it in for an estimate.
So who pays the fees to remove and reinstall this this broken system? Keep your factory systems theses things are too cheep to last more than a few years.
Kenwood customer service says Reset your system ....install updates....give up and mail that piece of junk back to us. Never Again !

Nice all-in-one system

Installed in an '07 Suzuki SX4 HB. Installation took about 2 hours. Great nav, easy to use. Touchscreen is very accurate. This system does not need vehicle speed sensor wire to be attached. The vehicle speed is calculated by GPS. I've attached a DTV converter box to the front a/v input and it works pretty well. You'll need a 3.5mm to RCA cable. Great system and great price with free harness and dash kit. Can't go wrong.

Great product, but the best part was the customer service Cruthcfield answered some of my questions for install and saved me a ton of money on installation and the radio aswell . The radio is great does alot for the price. My adviser Elvis helped me out. Better than going to local stores....
