Product works great with my Kenwood stereo. I would recommend to anyone that wants to hook up their ipod to their Kenwood stereo.

This cable works great to connect an iPhone 3G to a DNX7100 Kenwood unit in my wife's car. Audio, album art and video all work correctly and quickly.

Almost Perfect

Running a DNX8120 Receiver with a 120gb 6th Gen ipod classic. Length of use to date is about 6 weeks.
Overall I would not be without the cable. It is a wonderful way to utilize the ipod, which stays discreetly in the glove box. I only remove it to synch with itunes. It also works fine with my 3g iphone, subject to the same limitations discussed below. For the price it's a "no-brainer." However, there is room for improvement. Likely, the improvement needs to come from the receiver's operating software, i.e., it's ability to display and play the content from the ipod is only as good as the software that runs it.
Observations: No latency between navigating content and ipod response time. It works as fast as if navigating the ipod itself.
Functionality Cons: Cannot navigate back to artist or album selection from a song playing within a playlist.
Genius playlist functionality is not supported. Big disappointment as this is the main reason I upgraded to the latest ipod classic.
Navigating pages is a little cumbersome. I have about 80gb of music on my ipod which translates into pages and pages of screens. If I'm trying to get to a song/album that starts with M, for example, it requires a surgeon's precison and some luck to get close to it. Ideally, they would add a character list so you could navigate directly to that letter of the alphabet.
Ocasionally the ipod hangs. The screen just displays "reading." Requires restarting the receiver.

KCA-iP300V in a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe

it's a cable, not much to say; connected to a Kenwood DNX5120 and seems to work just fine for audio from my iPod, haven't tried video
the '03 Tahoe's have a strange little compartment on the left-side of the glove-box that was too small to really be useful for anything, so I drilled a hole in it and ran the iPod end of the cable up into there, and it's perfect for an iPod
I connected the audio/video straight to the DNX5120, but have the USB end sticking up in the center console and I put a panel-mount USB socket in the side of the console and ran that to the DNX5120; this way, I can use the iPod (which is 95% of the time) but if I want, I can disconnect the KCA-iP300V USB cable and plug in a thumb-drive

Does what it is supposed to. Connected it to my DNX7120 and the functionality is exactly how I would have expected it. Fast. Unfortunately I have no tried any videos, because I do not put them on my ipod, but the sound works great.
