The KDC-V7022 CD receiver combines the 3D MASK faceplate with Kenwood's vibrant Color Shock™ variable color display. The motorized panel opens to reveal your choice of 67 display colors! The control panel has four positioning angles for easy access and viewing. A handy rotary volume control allows easy adjustment of volume and system settings.
Sonically, the powerful internal amp (22 watts RMS/50 peak x 4) combines with System Q Sound Control to get the music sounding just right. Six preset EQ curves allow quick adjustment, and you can tweak the sound further with the 3-band equalizer and built-in crossovers. Match the receiver's output to the size and type of speakers in your vehicle for optimized performance.
As for options, they're all there. You get SIRIUS Satellite Radio controls and controls for a CD changer or Kenwood Music Keg. Two sets of preamp outputs allow you to add more power to your system by connecting external amps, and you can turn off the built-in amp to maximize the purity of the preamp signal. The rear preamp outputs can be used for full-range signal output or low-pass output for a subwoofer.
Building a mobile video system? Connect your video source's audio output to the KDC-V7022's auxiliary input. Dual zone capability allows you to listen to CD or radio through the front speakers, while your passengers enjoy a movie soundtrack through the rear speakers (or an optional headphone system)!
