Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I just got the speakers installed. Not real happy with the product. The factory speakers seem to sound better. The installation with simple and the bracket fit great. As this was recommended by a Crutchfield Rep, I will think twice before following a recommendation from a sales rep again

Pros: Install was quick and easy

Cons: product lacks

1989 Jeep Wagoneer XJ
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Great fit for my 89 Jeep Wagoneer Lmtd, the original Jensen speakers were toast. Under 30 bux including the wiring adapter, they sound great although a little lite in the bass dept. Cant ask for any better at the price. Actually going to order a 2nd set for the front doors and replace the Jensens there that are toast also.

Pros: perfect fit

Cons: lack of bass

Not a bad buy at all.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Replaced factory speakers with these. First off, Crutchfield ROCKS! For under $30 I got the speakers(retail packaging), a wiring kit and custom speaker mounts! UNBELIEVABLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT continued with full instructions as to how to take the door panel apart and change the speakers! The speakers themselves are $30 speakers. They lack a little of the bass that the factory speakers had but at higher volume they are ROCK solid offering little to no distortion. For $30 they earn a 4 star rating. I'm getting a kick out of reading some of the reviews chastizing them for lack of sound. What'd ya expect? A BMW for the price of a chevy volt? Ya got whatcha paid for.

Pros: None, for $30 they are great speakers

Cons: None

2005 Toyota Camry
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I was assured Crutchfield would lead me right when I put my vehicle info in and only list the right speakers. I don't know anything about speakers - I was buying them as a gift for my 17 yr. old's birthday. When it said 'modified fit' we thought it meant a bracket was needed. They should have said these are smaller speakers then the originals. They should have recommended a larger size that matches. Instead my son and husband had to duct tape the speaker into the old one. Then he said the volume was really low. He has a 2005 Toyota Camry.

Pros: They work.

Cons: Can't use the grille, wrong size for the car, low volume. Would have returned them, but they already had the back seat and back platform torn out of the car and they didn't want to do it again.

1994 Nissan Sentra
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought these speakers to replace the factory speakers in my daughters 1994 Nissan Sentra. Her old speakers were damaged and we didn't want to spend a lot of money to replace the originals. I have heard speakers that sound better than these but they cost a lot more. I consider these speakers to be a quality replacement to factory speakers and are a slight upgrade. Considering the fact that Crutchfield supplied all of the necessary adapters and detailed instructions for installation at no additional cost, I would consider these speakers to be an excellent value.

Pros: Affordable Easy to install Good sound

Cons: None

easy to install

2007 Toyota Tundra
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Finally found a set of rear doors speakers, that did not involve components, for my 07 Tundra double cab. I already had replaced the head unit, both front speakers and added a sub and this was the only thing missing. The included brackets./wiring harness made installation very easy.

Pros: Easy to install. Decent sound for the money.

Cons: smaller than the factory speakers

Features

Woofers: The woofer cones are constructed from injection-molded polypropylene. This process of cone molding assures a uniform cone thickness for superior linearity and clarity. The cones are lightweight and rigid for low distortion and good bass response. Each woofer uses a treated cloth surround.

Tweeters: Each speaker uses a PEI whizzer cone tweeter. PEI (Poly-Ether Imide) is a polymer film that has ideal sound characteristics, making it perfect for use as a tweeter.
