You'll have to custom-mount tweeters, which usually requires drilling holes and running new wires.

KFC-T207 in 05' Xterra Factory Dash Location

These units sound great!!! took out my old factory tweeters, disassembled the physical tweeter from its bracket, the kenwood tweet slid right into the factory bracket!!! took the crossover out of its enclosure, wrapped it in attic static and slid it into the opening where the tweeter mounts (inside the dash)... worked great!!! They fit exactly where the factory units were and without any challanges! Plus added that extra clarity that I was looking for!

kenwood tweeters

I was lucky enough to have a family member purchase these speakers for my truck. I have 1250 watts total and use only 150 watts peak for these tweeters. When I got them hooked up I was so surprised at the clarity of these things. It changed the entire sound of my stereo. For the price they are amazing.
I made two 2 1/4 " boxes to sit on my dash, and the response from everyone that has heard them has said that it sounds like a concert hall and I have to agree. Thank You Kenwood & Crutchfeild. com

Great little speakers!

My system: Pioneer head unit, Alpine 4x75w amp, 4 Kenwood 6x8 3-ways in a 2003 Explorer
Added a pair of these in the front, and they really help bring out the highs at all volume levels. They improve the vocals, and are really good for talk radio. The 4 6x8's have good sound, but a little muddy; these really helped separate the sound, and have a very nice sound quality.

Don't handle volume at all......

So I bought 2 sets of these for my 99 Ford Ranger; one set for the rear ceiling and one set for the doors. I really like the look and the mounting options of the tweeters. They even sound really good at low volumes.
However, my two alpine amps, four jensen 3-way 6x8s, and my 12" sub would like to go much MUCH louder, but they can't because these tweeters keep clipping. The idea was to drive the four tweeters with the high-output of the deck and drive everything else with amps. My deck is a Kenwood and only puts out 20Wpc and the tweeters are rated at 65 watts rms, 280 watts peak. What ever!!! If I go past 23 on the deck they clip. Solution: Installed a 1K ohm resister in series between the deck and the "protection circuitry/high-pass filter" and solved the problem. Voltage gain.
Spend a little more money....I think!!!
