The KCA-RC107MR wired remote allows you to access all major functions of your Kenwood marine receiver, as well as control peripherals like an iPod or satellite radio tuner. Best of all, the remote's LCD screen lets you keep tabs on the source and music you're listening to.
You don't have to be in line of sight when you use this wired remote, so you can mount the remote almost anywhere to control a receiver mounted below decks. You can even connect multiple remotes to allow control over your receiver from several locations.

Compatibility: The KCA-RC107MR marine wired remote control is compatible with the Kenwood KMR-700 Marine iPod/USB Receiver (up to 3 remotes can be connected) and the KMR-440U Marine CD Receiver (only 1 remote can be connected).
LCD Display: The add-on marine wired remote features an LCD display which lets you view source information, so you can mount your KMR-700 or KMR-440U marine headunit out of sight. The LCD display provides an adjustable contrast (0-10) for better visibility out on the open water.
Dimmer: You set the remote's LCD display illumination to dim in conjunction with the light switch of your vessel or set it to be dimmed constantly.
Controls: The KCA-RC107MR wired remote allows you to access all major functions of your compatible Kenwood marine receiver, as well as control peripherals like iPod or satellite radio.
Connections: The Kenwood KCA-RC107MR features an attached 39" cable terminated by a proprietary 8-pin connector which plugs into the rear-panel of your KMR-700's or KMR-440U's proprietary wired-remote port.
Installation: The Kenwood wired remote control unit comes with a plastic mount bracket and hardware which allows it to be mounted flush in your vessel for a neat and clean looking installation.

I mounted this control on the helm of my cruiser so I don't have to go bellow to adjust the radio. It is on e of the best add-ons ever. It looks good and works like a champ. I would recommend it to any one who needs some flexibility on their boat.
