Yes | No 4 out of 5 exceptional, but pricey Written By max, Los angeles, CA on Friday, July 10, 2009 these headphones have very good quality when hooked up to proper media center. i was very upset when i hooked this up to my computer though. the bass sounded like it was over powered and got really distorted i changed the equalizer setting to every possible setting and it wasn't that. to make sure it wasn't the speakers i switched it back to my home stereo system and it was as clean as possible. so after that i took them to a friends house and tried them out on his computer and stereo system. same results, it sounded good on the stereo, bad on the computers. so i settled with the fact you can not connect these to a crappy input or you'll get crappy sound. for the price i had a big problem with this because i have some sennheisers that played good on both settings and the cost 50 bucks. overall though the monster headphones are better because on the home audio system, dj equipment they sound great and have very good bass system all though it sounds a little digital. buy these if you have the money 8 out of 12 people found this helpful Was this review helpful? I recieved my headphones in the mail after feeling a little skeptical for paying this much for something I normally would say, ok Sony looks good and Bose sounds better. Upon opening the box I realized not just the headphones but the packaging seems top notch. The headphones themselves produce clear cut clarity and bass that will make most kids from the 80's remember the songs we listened to in the 90's. 4 out of 5 exceptional, but pricey Written By max, Los angeles, CA on Friday, July 10, 2009 these headphones have very good quality when hooked up to proper media center. i was very upset when i hooked this up to my computer though. the bass sounded like it was over powered and got really distorted i changed the equalizer setting to every possible setting and it wasn't that. to make sure it wasn't the speakers i switched it back to my home stereo system and it was as clean as possible. so after that i took them to a friends house and tried them out on his computer and stereo system. same results, it sounded good on the stereo, bad on the computers. so i settled with the fact you can not connect these to a crappy input or you'll get crappy sound. for the price i had a big problem with this because i have some sennheisers that played good on both settings and the cost 50 bucks. overall though the monster headphones are better because on the home audio system, dj equipment they sound great and have very good bass system all though it sounds a little digital. buy these if you have the money 8 out of 12 people found this helpful Was this review helpful?
