Average Customer Review(s):
These Y-Adapters work great !
Pros: Quality made
I don't know if there was a difference in the bass output on my sub, but since there were two inputs, I decided to use them both instead of the one.
Pros: Looks nice, still sounds good, inexpensive.
Cons: Me. For not researching enough before purchase. This cable may not have been necessary for improved sound!?
Good brand, works great
Pros: Works as described
Cons: Could be a bigger gauge wire
It was a great product. I love monster products.
Quick Shipping, exactly as described. Look to be good quality.
Pros: Exactly what I needed. Good Quality Fast Shipping
The item simply works as it should. No issues whatsoever.
Pros: Just works!
I needed two analog stereo inputs to two different receivers from a single analog stereo output - the Monster Cable Y adapters worked perfectly. The Crutchfield customer service rep showed me the way.
Pros: Works with no adverse sound affects. Well made ,too.
It works just as it is supposed to work. My Definitive sub was not turning on when I was using the LFE input. Now, using this Monster adapter, I am using it to connect the L and R inputs on the sub and the sub turns on when it should (it is now receiving a stronger signal).
Pros: It works (and can provide a stronger signal to the sub versus a single RCA connector) Price was great and with free shipping (and fast, too!)
Cons: Crutchfield overpacked my item in a fairly large box with lots of packing material - not necessary and rather wasteful!
It's really amazing, I can have all the benefits offer this ADAPTER, for this low price. I have a Polk Audio subwoofer has dual stereo input on the back and this adapter works perfectly between my sub and my Onkyo receiver. Congratulations MONSTER people
Pros: Excellent quality construction Easy to connect Good bass response
I used it to run my spearkers bi-amp. Subs 1 channel meds and highs the other I have a pair of Infinity kappa 9s if you know anything about them, They draw a lot of power for the subs.So I have about 300 watts at 8ohm running the subs 300 on the meds and highs.works great. Thank you.very much...
Exactly what the doctor ordered
Pros: easy easy easy install
Price, quality, enough said. Perfect for my power sub install.
I installed 2 of these for a dual amp setup and they worked perfectly.
Good Quality product, it just solved my need.
Pros: Good product & good price
Good quality cable, solid connection, great value...I would recommend.
Pros: good connection and build quality
Works fine, but not needed.
I have a slighly older (front-firing) Boston Acoustics Subwoofer with 2 RCA channel ports in the rear. In order to capture all of the base produced by the subwoofer, I need to reduce the 2-channel output to one. While my subwoofer does work w/o this adapter, there's about a 30% loss of base. This Y-Adapter by Monster does what its supposed to do and the result is earth-shattering base. I recomend this adapter for those w/ older subs, but if you have a newer sub w/ a single channel output, you don't need it. Also, other Y-Adapters I've tried are either cheaply made or are the cable is so thick, the adapter doesn't flex. This Y-Adapter suffers from neither cheapness nor inflexibility. It's perfect , for forward-firing or down-firing subwoofers.
This product works just fine, but make sure you actually need it before you buy. Buying this adapter was a waste of money for me. Although not labeled with a L/MONO input, my powered subwoofer doesn't require separate left and right inputs to work properly. You can plug a mono cable into the left input and leave the right input empty.
This was a waste of money. When I called in for advice about what I needed in the way of cables to connect the subwoofer to my receiver, I was told I needed this adapter. When I called back after trying to get the subwoofer to work, it was discovered I did not need the adapter after all.
